Allright, so I get that touch screens work well with portable devices that you can get out of your pocket/bag on the street but WHAT THE HELL is up with touchscreen desktops? Imagine working on one of these 8 hours a day, or having to write a long essay/paper by tapping your fingers against non-flexible glass. Not to mention you're continuously smudging grease over your screen.
I do get that touchscreens are very "in" right now, but seriously? IMO a touchscreen is clearly an inferior interface to the good old mouse/keyboard when used with a desktop.
