i just finished hosting a game on another site and it let me see the changes that i could make to improve it. i know you folks play a lot of mafia on here so i figured i would give hosting it again a shot here.

Sounds fun. You should be able to mod one of the next two games. ALternative tree expressed interesting modding a game already but it will be his first and I'm not sure if he will be ready or not when the next game starts. If he's not you should be able to host the next game.

i just looked over maybe 5 different games you guys have played and wow are they different from what im used to. knowing all the roles in the game is something i hate, even if there are more possible roles then actual roles known i still don't like that as much. i have a feeling that when i host its going to be a very different experience for a lot of the players. i alter, combine or make up roles to fit my themes and i like the possibility's to be endless.

 

i think i will need someone not playing to look over my setup and see if its balanced.

i have mentioned it in the past, but i generally was to busy to play(as in playing elsewhere already and playing in multiple games at once can mess you up, or as in i was playing other stuff to waste time). plus as i was afraid the general game structure here is more well structured. its why i never warmed to epic mafia, knowing all the roles in play can make the entire game come down to which of 2 people's claim you believe. granted here its not that clear cut, but its still not what im used to.

I have one more week of work and then I am done until September, so if our game finishes before then (with a week or so to come up with a game) then you can host while I come up with an awesome game.

i went over possible changes with the people who played this and i think i have vastly improved on the balance, thought i have some other potential changes i will want input on. it looks like despite my thinking it would grow to a 20 player game it is much more balanced if i swap in the role i made but didn't use last time instead of adding it.

im reasonably sure i can force get Ogaden and/or Shadow to play, maybe Leo or Croix or someone else will be interested too. i can run the game with less players then that but i have been optimizing the balance for 19
