Mine was Vice City, just loved the radio tracks on it, the influence of scarface and Miami Vice. Felt it improved on GTA 3 good bits and removed the negatives of that game. Would really hope GTA 6 revisits it.

Mine is between Vice city and San Andreas.
I'd probably go with San Andreas because I like that it was not a total urban map and not as restrictive of a game in terms of what the player could do.
I do prefer the radio tracks on Vice City.
GTA V will probably be my favorite when I play it.

Vice City hands down. They really nailed it with the 80s + Miami theme. I'm going to play V when it comes out on PC (and the price drops a bit)

Yeah, it's got to be Vice City, but I've always been style over substance. The jetpack in San Andreas was awesome.

However, GTA5 is freaking awesome.

My favorite is Vice City. That game made you feel so immersed in the world they created. For an older game, it was the first I had played that had so much content. I think the beat time was somewhere between 30-50 hours? My second favorite GTA would have to be San Andreas.
The idea of war is not to die for your country, it's to make the enemy die for his.

I thought San Andreas was kick ass, but I think GTA 5 took the cake on this one.

Episodes from Liberty City... V hasn't been ported yet and the others have terrible graphics.

I like Vice City cause of the music in it and the relations to scarface. I also like San Andreas cause of the landscape and driving out into the country at anytime you want when you unlocked that part of the map but so far I have to say my favorite is 5 cause of the ability to switch characters and their abilities.

From what I have seen (others playing not me) GTAV is amazing.

With San Andreas I loved how it was modeled on the LA riots from 1992, the gang warfare minigame and the size of the map. A special mention for Big Smoke's food order as well but felt parts were lacking, also I don't think the Grove Street gang and Carl Johnson were characters that I enjoyed or made interesting protagonists. Whereas I found I liked Tenpenny but that could be because Samuel L Jackson is awesome.
