The Outrider hordes kept coming through the hole in the barrier wall. The Wakandan defenders, led by Captain America and Black Panther, continued to fight but were dangerously close to being overrun. A beam of light rained down from the sky in the middle of the action, blasting away all the Outriders in range. The light softened to reveal Rocket Raccoon and Groot (holding the Stormbreaker axe) with his branch-like arm. It wasn't much but every bit of reinforcement was a welcome sight to Cap. Rocket unloaded on a nearby horde with his machine guns and was joined by Falcon and War Machine. Groot swung Stormbreaker around and smashed through another group of Outriders. Wanda Maximoff looked off into the distance and saw a group of Outriders who had broken through the Wakandan defense nearing the palace. She flew into the sky and off toward the building where Vision was being operated on. Shuri was not yet able to remove the stone from Vision's forehead but she had run out of time. The doors to the lab burst open and Shuri turned to face the attackers. Wanda aimed a psionic blast at the lab's window and busted through it to grab Vision and they flew back out the window. She guided them over to a small clearing in the otherwise densely tree lined forest nearby and laid Vision's weakened body down on the ground. Vision pleaded with her to destroy the stone. Grief overwhelmed Wanda because she knew that it was the only way to stop Thanos. She finally reluctantly agreed and conjured up all of the energy she could. A portal opened up behind her and before she could destroy the stone, Thanos stepped out and knocked her out with a powerful punch to the back of the head. He stepped toward Vision who fired an energy blast at the Mad Titan but he absorbed it with the Infinity gauntlet on his hand. Thanos lifted Vision's body into the air and gripped the Mind Stone between his thumb and index fingers and began to pry it from the synthezoid's forehead. Steve Rogers sprinted through the tree line and threw himself at Thanos, landing a right hook to the titan's head causing him to release Vision. He threw another hook, this time with his left fist, and landed another blow to the other side of his head. Steve cocked his left hand again and the wrist armor he wore turned into a shield. Thanos, regaining his composure, aimed a massive punch at Captain America who absorbed the blow with the new shield. Two more powerful punches were more than the armor could handle and the shield broke. Thanos aimed another punch at Cap who used both his arms to block and grabbed it. The mad titan was too powerful for the now defenseless Cap and he knocked him to one knee and landed several strong blows to Steve's body. Captain America folded to the ground and was defeated. Nothing now stood between Thanos and achieving victory. Zacch (Captain America), an Avenger Bodyguard, has been killed on night 4. The Black Order (Imran Ehsan, Robert2424, Lyner, and Preston) has defeated the Avengers.

Steve Rodgers approached the cockpit of the jet where Sam Wilson sat. "Drop to 2600, heading 0-3-0." "I hope you right about this or we're going to land a lot faster than we want to," Sam replied. The jet soared through the protective barrier hiding Wakanda from the outside world. As it approached a nearby docking platform, a delegation from the Dora Milaje, led by King T'Challa, walked out to meet them. The jet's tailgate opened. Steve Rodgers, Bruce Banner, James Rhodes, Wanda Maximoff, and Vision stepped onto the platform. They walked over to the welcoming crew and Steve and T'Challa shook hands. They turned to walk toward the nearby palace. "How big of an assault should we expect?" T'Challa asked. "Sir, I think you should expect quite a big assault," Banner replied. "You have my King's Guard, the Border Tribe, the Dora Milaje, and.." "A semi-stable 100 year old man," Bucky Barnes finished as he approached his old friend. Bucky gave Steve a hug. "How are you doing, Buck?" he asked. "Not bad, for the end of the world," Bucky replied with a smile. The group walked into the palace and took Vision down to the lab to be examined. Shuri walked around him, looking closely at the stone in his forehead. "There are more than two trillion neurons here. One misalignment could cause a cascade of circuit failures. This will take time, brother." "How long?" Rodgers replied. "As long as you can give me." A nearby alarm sounded as an aircraft entered the Wakandan atmosphere. The group turned and watched out the window as several large obelisk-like objects fell from the sky and crashed into the forest outside the shield around the inner Wakandan shield. "It's too late," Vision said. "We need to destroy the stone." "We will hold them off," T'Challa said. "Wanda, as soon as that stone is out of his head you blow it to hell," Steve said. "Evacuate the city, engage all defenses, and get this man a shield," T'Challa said pointing at Captain America. The Wakanda defenses immediately mobilized and were lead out onto the battlefield. Steve Rodgers and King T'Challa walked down the hill to the edge of the Wakandan dome where Proxima Midnight and Cull Obsidian stood. Proxima Midnight ran the tip of her spear along the dome and sparks danced out of it. "Thanos will have that stone," Proxima Midnight said. "That's not gonna happen," Rodgers replied. "You are in Wakanda now," T'Challa interjected. "Thanos will have nothing but dust and blood." "Proxima Midnight reponded: "We have blood to spare." She raised her spear overhead and let out a war cry. The giant doors of the obelisks in the distance lifted. Steve and T'Challa walked back up the hill to the Wakandan front line. "Did they surrender?", Bucky quipped. "Not exactly", Steve replied. Thousands of Outriders (demon like creatures) charged out of the trees and towards the Wakandan dome. "T'Challa stood on top of the hill. He let out a Wakandan war cry and the entire chorus of Wakandans behind him responded in kind. The Outriders threw themselves into the Wakandan shield. They tried to scratch and claw their way through the dome but it severed any parts of their body that touched it and many died. They kept coming, wave after wave, and lunged into the shield until finally a handful of them were able to break through it's protection and charged up the kill toward the defenders. The Wakandan army readied their shields and shot laser blasts out of their spears toward the attackers. Bucky fired his assault rifle. Bruce fired repulsor blasts from the palms of the HulkBuster armor. War Machine and Falcon flew overhead firing various munition rounds at the Outriders who had managed to get through the dome. The hordes of Outriders suddenly changed course and began running around the perimeter of the dome. "Cap, if these things circle the perimeter and get in behind us, there's nothing between them and VIsion," Banner called. "Then we better keep them in front of us," Cap responded. "We need to open the barrier," T'Challa said. He pressed a finger to his ear. "On my signal, open Northwest section 17." T'Challa again cried out in Wakandan and he walked between the front lines and stared down at the advancing enemy. "WAKANDA FOREVER!" he called as he put on the Black Panther mask. The Wakandan army raised their weapons and cheered and the defenders charged down the hill to meet the advancing Outsiders head on. "NOW!" T'challa called into ear piece. The barrier opened directly in front of them and the Outrider hordes charged through the small opening. Black Panther and Captain America pulled away from the rest of the defenders and hurdled a small river at the base of the hill. They were met immediately by the Outriders. They clawed and punched their way through the first handful before the rest of the Wakandan army caught up to them and engaged the attackers. "How much longer, Shuri?" T'Challa spoke into his earpiece. "We've barely begun, brother," she replied as she worked on extracting the Infinity stone from Vision's forehead in her lab. The war raged on outside. After a successful initial counter-offensive, the Wakandan defenders eventually began to fatigue. The Outrider hordes we're still coming, wave after wave. A large group of them threw themselves at Bruce Banner in the Hulkbuster armor. He blasted a dozen of them with strong repulsor blasts, and swung around and batted away another large handful. But they kept coming, taking the places of their fallen comrades and pounced on him. They thrashed and clawed their way into the electrical systems of the suit and shut it down. Banner laid on the ground helpless to them. They ripped off the helmet from the suit and finally got the better of Bruce. iSocialism 2.0 (Bruce Banner), a Vanilla Avenger, has been lynched on day 4. The rest of the Guardians flew to Knowhere. Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, and Mantis exited The Benatar and approached the Collector's Museum. As they entered they could hear a deep voice coming from the display room. The Guardians moved quietly into the room and saw Thanos standing over a man on the ground. "I know that you have the Reality Stone, Tivan. Giving it to me will spare you a great deal of suffering." The mad titan placed his large right foot on the Collector's chest and pinned him to the floor. The Collector winced in pain. "I told you I sold it. Why would I lie?" "I imagine it's like breathing for you" Thanos replied. "Not even you would surrender something so precious." "I didn't know what it was." "You're more of a fool than I took you for. Last chance charlatan. Where is the stone?" The Guardians hid behind a nearby crate listening to the discussion between Thanos and the Collector. Drax peered around the crate and glared at Thanos from behind. "It's him," he said to Quill. "Today, he pays for the deaths of my wife and daughter." Drax drew his dagger out of his boot. "Drax, wait. Not yet, not yet," Quill urged. Drax had already begun moving toward Thanos. Star-Lord stepped out in front of him and help him back. "Drax, he doesn't have the stone yet. If we get it, then we can stop him. We have to get the stone first." "No, this is for my wife and daughter," Drax said as he pushed past Quill. Before he could go far, Mantis used her telekinetic power and caused Drax to instantly fall asleep. He fell to the ground and landed with a thud. The Guardians quickly ducked down. Thanos turned around and glared in their direction. A small twisted smirk crossed his face. He removed his foot from Tivan's chest, picked him up, and threw him across the room before starting toward the place where the Guardians hid. Quill looked at Gamora and Mantis and mouthed to them to go to the right and indicated that he would go left. Gamora jumped out, sword drawn, and charged at Thanos. She swung twice but Thanos dodged left and then right and then caught her blade in his hand and snapped it. Gamora lunged with the broken blade and stabbed Thanos in the side of the neck. She then grabbed her dagger out of it's holster and thrust it into his chest. Thanos wretched as he looked down at the blade in his chest. He grabbed it with his clenched fist and dropped to a knee. "Why?" he asked her as he fell onto his back. "Why you, daughter?" Gamora began to cry as she watched her adoptive father on the ground in pain. She fell to a knee too. Thanos laid his head down and closed his eyes. Quill and Drax watched the scene from the other side of the room. "That was quick", Star-Lord quipped. Tivan started clapping and cheering "Magnificent!" as he watched the scene unfold as well. Gamora continued to cry. Her head was bowed toward the floor. "Is that sadness I sense in your, daughter?" Stunned, Gamora lifted her head up, the crying had ceased instantly. "In my heart I knew you still cared." Gamora stared at Thanos laying on the ground and wondered how it was that he was speaking. His body suddenly vanished and the scene around them in the Collector's Museum changed into one of fire and destruction. "Reality is often disappointing." Gamora turned around and Thanos had re-appeared out of thin air in front of her. "You knew we would come," she said. "I counted on it," Thanos replied. "There's something we need to discuss little one." Thanos picked Gamoria up by the back of her neck. "Thanos!" Drax yelled as he charged at the titan. Mantis charging behind him. He knocked them both backward and they crumpled to the floor. Quill stepped out from his hiding place, blaster pointing at Thanos' head. "Let her go, Grimmace." Gamora looked at Quill. "Peter" she said, almost begging him. "You let her go!" Quill demanded of Thanos. "Ah, the boyfriend," Thanos replied mockingly. "I like to think of myself as a titan killing, long term booty call. Let her go. I'm gonna blow that nutsack of a chin right off your face." "Peter, not him," Gamora said as she looked Quill straight in the face. "You promised." Quill knew what Gamora was asking. "Oh daughter, you expect too much from him. She's asked, hasn't she? Do it." Thanos pushed Gamora toward Quill. "Do it!" Quill started to tear up. "I love you more than anything," Gamora said to him as she was now crying again too. "I love you too," Peter responded. He worked himself up and pulled the trigger of the blaster. Bubbles sprayed out and the weapon evaporated. "I like him" Thanos said. He turned his gauntlet slightly and Quill fell to the floor dead. Thanos and Gamora disappeared. lilweirdward (Star-Lord), an Avenger Cop, was killed on night 3. Thanos has acquired a 4th Infinity Stone (Reality Stone). It is now day 4. They were traveling to a distant star system to check out a distress signal that came through. Peter Quill prepped the team as they neared the point where they were to drop out of hyper space. They were not prepared for what they found upon arrival. Giant pieces of debris and countless frozen bodies were floating through space. It was quite obvious that the ship who had sent the distress signal had been completely destroyed. Quill and Rocket Raccoon carefully weaved the ship through the debris field. All of a sudden a body collided with The Benatar and plastered itself to the front window. It was Thor Odinson's lifeless body. The Guardians were stunned when he suddenly opened an eye. They quickly worked to bring him onto the ship. Thor recounted what had happened to the Asgardians after their ship had been attacked by Thanos and members of the Black Order. Thor was sure that they would have fared better if he still had Mjolnir. He was hungry for revenge and intended to have it at Thanos' expense. Thor decided that he would travel to the Planet Nidavellir, a famous forge where many legendary weapons had been built. Rocket and Groot agreed to accompany him on the trip. When they arrived at Nidavellir, the forge was dark and inoperable. There did not appear to be any living being left. They walked through the dark, quiet halls and were suddenly ambushed by a dwarf. Thor, recognizing the dwarf, called out to him to calm him. "Eitri." "Thor" he replied in a slighly exasperated manner. "What happened here, Eitri?" Thor asked. "Thanos came and attacked the forge. He forced us to craft a special weapon for him in exchange for our lives. This weapon would be used to house the infinity stones. We reluctantly built it for him and then he killed everyone anyway, except me.." "Eitri, I need you to craft me a weapon. One that is powerful enough to defeat Thanos." "I have plans for one, the mighty axe Stormbreaker, but the star at the heart of the forge that powers it has nearly died." Thor and Rocket agreed to try to help restart the forge. In order to do so they would have to hold the lens of the neutron star open long enough for it to power the forge. Thor agreed to do so, likely at his own expense. With all his might, Thor grabbed to handles on either side of the lens and pulled. The power of the neutron star ignited and blasted directly through the lens as Thor held it and re-ignited the forge which melted the metal for Eitri to create the head of Stormbreaker. Thor held it just long enough and then the full force of the star blasted him from the lens and onto of of the catwalks of the forge. Rocket, Groot, and Eitri rushed to him but it was too late. The star's power was too great. Thor had been killed. Groot noticed the head of Stormbreaker nearby. He walked over to it and grew out a part of the branch that was his arm. The branch twisted around the head of the axe and formed a handle. Groot then cut off his own arm to complete the axe that they had traveled all this way for. Doctor Strange was gone. Tony aimed a repulsor blast at Ebony Maw and knocked him out of the air where he floated in front of Stephen Strange's still suspended body. He flew to the ground after him and connected a right hook to the side of Maw's face which sent him flying into the side of a nearby car. Cull Obsidian raced over and swung his hammer toward Stark. Iron Man flew upward and fired several blasts at the Black Dwarf. He shuddered and dropped to a massive knee as the flares landed successfully. Stark zoomed toward him and knocked the hammer from his hand. It skidded across the pavement and lodged itself into a pile of twisted metal and concrete. Obsidian stood up as Stark went for another pass and blocked a kick with his massive forearms. He grabbed Stark's left foot and crushed his repulsor. He swung Iron Man overhead and smashed the suit into the ground before battering him with a flurry of powerful punches. Stark managed to get his right hand free and landed a repulsor blast to Cull Obsidian's chest. Tony was able to boost out of the giant's grip across the ground and into the air. His flying was uneven with his left foot repulsor gone but he took aim at the Black Dwarf again and zoomed toward him. Cull Obsidian managed to grab his hammer and spun around. The hammer connected. Iron Man flew across the street and smashed into a brick wall and crumpled to the pavement. Tony Maurice (Iron Man), an Avenger Jack-Of-All-Trades, has been killed on night 2. It is now day 3. Wanda Maximoff and Vision walked down a dimly lit street talking about their lives together and planning their escape from everything they had been through. They passed by a cafe and the television inside caught Wanda's attention. The local news was showing a video clip from earlier that day in New York City. Wanda watched as people fled as a massive circular ship appeared over the city and it's alien passengers arrived on the city streets. They watched as Ironman and Doctor Strange fought the two creatures and ultimately saw Strange's demise. Wanda turned to Vision with her hand clapped over her mouth in shock. The next moment a spear suddenly plunged through Vision's chest causing him to scream in agony and forcing him back into his synthezoid form as he was lifted straight into the air and thrown 15 feet. "Viz!" Wanda cried out as her eyes seemed to ignite with chaos magic. She turned around and confronted the two assailants, preparing to fire hex waves at them. A bolt of energy from Proxima Midnight's spear connected with her first and launched her backward through the glass window of a nearby store. The two went over to Vision and pinned him to the ground as they forced the tip of Corvus Glaive's spear to his forehead. Vision once again screamed out in agony. Wanda, returning to action, caught the two other-worldly assailants off guard and knocked them backward with magic. She lifted Vision into the air and flew tthem a couple streets away. Laying Vision down on the street she healed the wound in his chest. She lifted him back into the air and the two of them soared through the night sky over the city. Proxima Midnight again fired a bolt of energy from her spear that connected with them midair and the knocked them from the sky and through the glass roof of the train station where they crashed to the ground. Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive smashed through the roof after them and landed on their feet. They approached Wanda and the Vision with their weapons drawn. Magic waves surged through Wanda's hands as the two approached. They paused for a moment as a bullet train sped through the platform behind Wanda. Something caught their eye between the speeding train cars. After it had passed they saw someone appear in the shadows on the other side of the platform. Proxima Midnight threw her spear like a javelin at the shadow. The shadowed figure caught the spear and stepped into the light. Wanda smiled as she saw Steve Rogers appear. All of a sudden Sam Wilson flew in from behind Proxima Midnight and a flying kick sent her smashing through a nearby window. Falcon continued on and fired several small munitions toward Corvus Glaive who swatted them down with his spear. Steve Rogers threw Proxima Midnight's spear through the air to a third person running through the shadows behind Corvus Glaive. Natasha Romanoff caught the spear and engaged Corvus Glaive. Black Widow dropped to her knees and slid under Corvus Glaive's outstretched weapon. She sliced his leg as she passed, knocking him to the ground. The spear was ripped from her hands from behind and stabbed into her back. She dropped to her knees in pain. Captain America and Falcon knocked Proxima Midnight to the ground next to Corvus Glaive. "We don't want to kill you, but we will" they warned them. "You'll never get the chance again," Proxima Midnight responded as she touched Corvus Glaive's arm. A beam of light from the sky surrounded them and they teleported away. KevinH (Black Widow), an Avenger Voyeur, was lynched on day 2.
