  • 2-4 Bombs OR Supersaints

The list of possible setups is the following:

  • 25% chance of 3 Vigs (50% Blank Vig) and 4 town roles (50/50% Bomb or Supersaint)
  • 50% chance of 4 Vigs (50% Blank Vig) and 3 town roles (50/50% Bomb or Supersaint)
  • 25% chance of 5 Vigs (50% Blank Vig) and 2 town roles (50/50% Bomb or Supersaint)
  • Mafia has a factional Roleblock OR a factional Doctor protection (as well as the group kill). One member may choose to perform both the NK and the Doc/RB choice.
  • Vigilantes will not be informed whether they are a blank or not.
  • Bomb will kill any player who successfully shoots it at night (unless protected by a Doctor action). A Bomb cannot be roleblocked.
  • Supersaint will kill any player who hammers it during the day.
  • Mafia wins endgames where they control 50% of the town UNLESS the remaining townie(s) is a Bomb, in which case it's a tie.

The game contains the following roles:

Welcome, [Player Name]. You are a Mafia Goon, along with your partner, [Player Name].
Abilities:
Factional communication: During the night phase you may talk with your partner.
Factional kill: Each night phase, one of you or your partner may perform the factional kill.
Factional ability: Each night phase, one of you or your partner may also perform a Doctor save OR a Roleblock.
Win Condition:
You win when you control the majority of the town or nothing can prevent this from happening.

Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Town Vigilante.
Abilities:
Each night phase, you may attempt to shoot a player in the game. There is a possibility you are a Blank Vig.
Win Condition:
You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and at least one town player is still alive.

Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Town Supersaint.
Abilities:
If you are lynched during the day, the player to hammer you will also die.
Win Condition:
You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and at least one town player is still alive.

Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Town Bomb.
Abilities:
If you are successfully shot at night (Blank Vig targets don't count), the player to shoot you will also die.
Win Condition:
You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and at least one town player is still alive.

Rules:

  • During the Day phase, each player may speak and vote inthread.
  • If a player receives the majority of the available votes during the Day, they are lynched.
  • At deadline, a player with half-majority will be lynched.
  • You may vote No Lynch.
  • After the Day, the game goes to Night.
  • The game thread is closed during the Night. The Mafia may speak to each other at Night. All Active Roles may submit actions via PM at Night.
  • The Mafia can, as a faction, kill one player at Night.
  • After the Night, the game goes to Day.
  • All dead players (lynched or killed) can no longer participate the game.
  • Basic rules for maintaining the integrity of the game thread are in effect (i.e. players may not quote their Role PMs, nor may they discuss the game outside the game thread unless otherwise permitted, etc.)
  • The game is comprised of Mafia and Town.
  • The game is won when only one faction remains in the game, or nothing can prevent the same.
  • Mass role-claiming is allowed.
  • Game Days will last as many real-life days as there are players alive.
  • Game Nights will last 48 hours but will include at least one weekday.

@Mod: Would you please clarify something?

  • Mafia has a factional Roleblock OR a factional Doctor protection (as well as the group kill). One member may choose to perform both the NK and the Doc/RB choice.

Does this mean Mafia has a 1 shot factional ability or does this mean they can use one of those powers EACH night?  This point isn't clear to me.  Thanks!

Fair enough.  So the idea from above remains very bad.

If Yates is really the bomb then that is bad town play.

I have already admitted as much. I wasn't as careful as I should have been and just assumed there would be an investigative role.

On the plus side? The scum can waste both of their actions on me tonight, leaving the vigs to do what they need to do.

If I was the bomb I would keep it quiet in hopes of being targeted by scum.

Yes. If you are a bomb, do this.

Wait. I'm being stupid. Scum can RB the claimed bombs or Doc protect the scum that takes out the bomb.

Bombs can't roleblock the bombs, though a doc could still protect the night killer.

*Scum can't roleblock the bombs.

Well then, more Yates idea's gone down the poop shoot. lol

but yeah, odd set-up. A vig could very well hit a bomb also. meaning 2 town losses. So fun. guess vigs takes a risk anyways, but now at least we know there's a chance of being blown up for choosing wrong. Witch, I would be willing to bet, with our set-up, a bomb is going to go off within night one or night 2. Its a matter of who steps on the wrong spots...

They can't ALL be gems...

I don't know. I imagine our vig's will be cautious anyway. Plus, there's a chance they are "blank" which just makes them a VT. It's going to be tricky sorting out if someone was RBed or just firing blanks.

I don't think that the vigs are one-shot, so if both nights in a row a vigilante sees his shot fail, he should assume he is a blank vigilante, since the odds of him being roleblocked repeatedly (unless he/she makes claims right in the open (Yates)) are small.

I guess it depends on the number of cross-kills and how many blanks we have.

So do we bother with RVS or actually - gasp - no lynch D1? [screw you, Kevin, for making me ask this!!]

MOD: Your rules do not say how long until a player becomes inactive

If I decide a player becomes inactive, I will taunt them.

If they don't respond, I shall taunt them a second time!
