  • Mafia wins endgames where they control 50% of the town UNLESS the remaining townie(s) is a Bomb, in which case it's a tie.

The game contains the following roles:

Welcome, [Player Name]. You are a Mafia Goon, along with your partner, [Player Name].
Abilities:
Factional communication: During the night phase you may talk with your partner.
Factional kill: Each night phase, one of you or your partner may perform the factional kill.
Factional ability: Each night phase, one of you or your partner may also perform a Doctor save OR a Roleblock.
Win Condition:
You win when you control the majority of the town or nothing can prevent this from happening.

Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Town Vigilante.
Abilities:
Each night phase, you may attempt to shoot a player in the game. There is a possibility you are a Blank Vig.
Win Condition:
You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and at least one town player is still alive.

Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Town Supersaint.
Abilities:
If you are lynched during the day, the player to hammer you will also die.
Win Condition:
You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and at least one town player is still alive.

Welcome, [Player Name], you are a Town Bomb.
Abilities:
If you are successfully shot at night (Blank Vig targets don't count), the player to shoot you will also die.
Win Condition:
You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated and at least one town player is still alive.

  • If a player receives the majority of the available votes during the Day, they are lynched.
  • At deadline, a player with half-majority will be lynched.
  • You may vote No Lynch.
  • After the Day, the game goes to Night.
  • The game thread is closed during the Night. The Mafia may speak to each other at Night. All Active Roles may submit actions via PM at Night.
  • The Mafia can, as a faction, kill one player at Night.
  • After the Night, the game goes to Day.
  • All dead players (lynched or killed) can no longer participate the game.
  • Basic rules for maintaining the integrity of the game thread are in effect (i.e. players may not quote their Role PMs, nor may they discuss the game outside the game thread unless otherwise permitted, etc.)
  • The game is comprised of Mafia and Town.
  • The game is won when only one faction remains in the game, or nothing can prevent the same.
  • Mass role-claiming is allowed.
  • Game Days will last as many real-life days as there are players alive.
  • Game Nights will last 48 hours but will include at least one weekday.

Personally, I think scum hade to do one of the kills. While there is no proof, and if the mafia is decided to step back and watch us shoot each other, there is a good chance of them getting shot though now. So, if my theory is true and mafia did target somebody. (As there is two, I doubt 1 inactive on the mafia team, the other couldn't decide to send in the night actions, unless they were both inactive, killing the game of mafia.)

While I'm not for a mass claim, I may be in the minority for that doesn't mean I should just bend to the will of everybody. If we mass claim, what can the mafia do with the info that would be plainly out in the open? avoid the bombs, and target the players who are threats to killing them at night. We eliminate one of our weapons as town. If even one mafia hits a bomb, our chances should skyrocket in my mind. But if we give info out that can keep the mafia safe, were putting a knife in our own back, and giving the mafia an upper hand on us.

True..

also it looks like with Angel targeting Yates, it means that Lyner was the scums target.

The Mafia already have the upper hand, we lost 2 townies and now we're down to five.

The bomb is irrelevant at this stage in terms of night actions as the mafia will be using their doctor role to protect themselves, especially when they know we have at least 1 vig capable of killing.

So whoever on the mafia does the killing tonight will most definitely have protection making the bomb irrelevant in terms of night actions.

Even if they know who the bomb is then they will still be using the doctor ability most likely.

While I was against a mass role claim in Day 1 with such a crappy night I fear mass role claiming is the best way forward.

While you don't have to mass role claim there is a greater chance I will be voting to lynch people who don't role claim as there is going inconsistencies with numbers so if everyone but two people mass role claim then I will be voting one of people who didn't.

I have no interest in lynching any of people that role claim if there is no indication that they're lying, which there won't be if don't have the numbers on the number of people that claim each type of role.

In other words the bomb is as useless as the rest of us who have no night abilities.

How do we know Angel is town?

Well, Yates died, and the other person killed was Lyner, most likely scum, unless someone comes forward and say that they targeted Yates, or Lyner, Angel is in the clear. However if someone does come forward, we still wouldn't not know who is telling the truth. But most likely if he was scum hiding as town, he would say he targeted Yates all the same.

Agreed, however

Odds are three people will die, one by lynch, one by scum, and one by vig. leaving us with 4, so either 2 scums 2 town, 1 scum 3 town, or 0 scum 4 town.

If we don't lynch two, people will mostly die, leaving us 5; 2 scums 3 town, 1 scum 4 town, or 0 scum 5 town, but scum won't take out their own so the chances of 0 scum can only be done by a lynch.

Mafia wins with 50% control, so we would have to hit a scum, if we lynch. We have two different tries. If we don't lynch we wouldn't have to hit any scum, but this would leave us more in the hole.

If we lynch we will have to hit a scum, either by the lynch or night action,  or the game is over in mafia favor, with a lynch, and NA, one being a success. 3-1, no success 2-2, all successful 4-0

No lynch; successful NA, 4-1, no success, 3-2

No lynch no NA = no success, 4-2

Chances are however, that the mafia will take out Angel because he said he took out Yates,

So, by tonight if we only have one non-blank vig and that is Angel. We will only be able to win by lynching, after scum take down Angel.

So if no lynch but  the vig still uses his NA. Two people will die tonight leaving us with 5, either 3-2, or 4-1, but by the end only one Angel will mostly likely die. leaving us with a 3-2, or 4-1 scenario. That is if there is only one non-blank vig, which looking at the odds I'm starting to doubt, dangit too many possibilities.

Most of this post was me thinking to clear the mind, but it looks like we going to have to lynch to win ^assuming one active vig theory, so we might as well do it today(d2)

The best thing we can do imo is also narrow down the suspects for the vigs who can kill and as well as the suspects we should lynch today if we do lynch.

EM said he was out of town so he could very well be able to kill as well, that's assuming he is not fake role claiming.

With 7 alive, it takes 4 to lynch (2 at deadline).

Deadline is 20:00 EST on January 20.

Fine, since CS won't listen to my reasoning, and isoc is sure whoever targeted Lyner hade to be scum.

(I don't wish to do this, cause it hurts us more then helps us.) I killed Lyner. Discuss.

I figured since you were hesitating with your RC, that you were a vig and that you knew you would be ask who you targeted, when/if you came forward.

So, either Angel is lying and is not a vig, or you are lying and are not a vig, both of you are lying and or not vig, none of you are lying and the person you chose was also selected by the scum.

Obviously, both of you lying is probably not the case, however, I believe you Robert over Angel, so if any one is lying, it is more likely angel in my point of view.

You hesitated, and didn't want to give yourself because you believe you were a vig with a non-blank role.

Angel did not hesitated, neither did CS and I, but we figured ourselves to be blank, but back to Angel. At first I didn't think of it, but as the delay for RC went on I knew their was a reason for you not roleclaim. With the remaining two one being Nerau, who is most likely inactive, and you. You were not inactive, you could have said I'm a vig and I targeted yates as well, or I targeted so and so, but they didn't die, but you didn't. You gave info that could put you in a tuff spot.

Time is running short, and I believe angel to be scum, I figured it was going to come down to people not wanting to RC for the protection, that is the argument for mass RC every time.

Because I don't believe Robert to be lying, I will not vote for him. Kaz is probably the bomb, so I will not vote for him. I also believe CS to be telling the truth. Nerau is most likely inactive and most likely a town and a waste of a vote. I will not vote for myself.

So this leaves me with EM and Angel, EM claim is suspicious, but not enough for me.

Angel, I put my trust more with Robert then you.

Vote: Angel

Angel Cruz dela Sant,Commander Shepard, Electric Mango, iSocialism and Robert2424 claims to be vigs with only Angel and Robert capable of killing.

Kaziocore claims to be a bomb.
Nerau made no claim.

So far we know at least 1 scum fake role claimed, maybe even two, I think probably 2 because Nerau not role claiming yet doesn't mean much.

I would like to know Nerau's claim before making an analysis of who I should vote.

This isn't a competition between Angel and Robert, both could be vigs capable of killing.

And just because you think one is more likely to be town doesn't mean you should vote the other without the knowing the 7th role claim first.

But hey as long as too many people don't start voting without knowing the 7th role claim the I am ok.

@MOD, drag Nerau in here if you have to

iSoc, I did not hesitate to say who I killed because I killed Yates. If I was a blank vig and needed to claim, I would have ended up having to lie and say I targeted someone else. If I targeted someone else, it would have been possible to prove I was lying which would put me in a deeper hole than I am. Frankly I do not care if you trust Robert over me.

Further, it is entirely possible that the scum chose not to nightkill since they knew us vigs were going to likely kill a bunch of townies and were perhaps hoping we would hit a bomb.

Screw, unless Nerau joins us my mind is made up.

In my mind the scum is among these four players, Nerau doesn't need to be apart of it because an inactive scum being the last scum alive is good.

I look through the players and I see two people claiming to kill people, I don't like either of these claims.

This is a slow moving game so screw it, there isn't much time to discuss crap, there much to discuss if we did have time anyway.

The scum didn't pick bomb because imo because they know it is 50/50, either them or the real bomb gets lynched.

I think Kazicore is telling the truth assuming that Nerau claims to be a vig.

I'm going out on a limp here but I think two players are scum in that bunch of vigs I listed.

Maybe I'm guessing it wrong, I don't care too much but in my mind 50% of those vigs are scum.

If I had an active night ability I would kill someone in that bunch of names, although you would have to take your name out and add mine.

I don't like how iSocialism made it a vote between two vigs claiming to be able to kill.

If they are both vigs and iSocialism is scum then removing one vig capable of killing is a good move.

Although seeing how only two people died maybe one of the vigs is full of crap, but it is possible that is not the case.
