Reservoir dogs mafia

Rules:

  1. The mod is GOD. There are some unusual features in this game. Feel free to PM me, but don't just assume I've made a mistake. I'll answer in thread if I have, but may not if it is intended behavior.
  2. Orange is my color of choice. I'm the only one who can write in orange.
  3. Voting occurs at the end of a gun barrel in this game. Specifically, your gun: Draw on [Name] to 'vote' for someone. Holster to unvote. I won't be a Nazi about this, but it does add flavor. Finger of Suspicion (FOS) remains unchanged. And if you want to vote for a no lynch, you will need to Remove Clip
  4. Once enough barrels are aimed at a particular person, they will be swiss cheese and the day is over. You may speak in twilight until the night scene is posted.
  5. Dead men tell no tales, in case you were wondering. A single uninformative 'flavor' post is acceptable, of course.
  6. Nights will last around 3-4 days, perhaps somewhat shorter in the late game or if all choices are in. If you need an extension, let me know.
  7. Days will last as long as they need to, within reason. If discussion lags, I may impose a retractable deadline. If it lags again the same 'Day', the next deadline will be firm. No one dies if a deadline arrives without the required number of drawn weapons. Remember, you're crooks, not townies; act like it!
  8. Acting as a crook does not require personal attacks, flames, or spamming. Violators will be re-educated with extreme prejudice.
  9. Don't edit or delete existing posts. See Rule #7.
  10. Don't quote any PMs from the mod. See Rules #7 & #8.
  11. Don't discuss this game out of thread unless you have permission from the mod. See rules #7, #8, & #9 for clarification.
  12. If you're going to be gone for a significant length of time, let everyone know. Management not responsible for other players believing your claim of absence, however.
  13. Have fun with it; this is a bit different of a game.
  14. Don't make me make you shoot yourself in the head.

I always try to play the same, whether I'm scum or townie.

Without any additional information about the setup, the best course of action is to remove clips and let those with power roles get the information we need.

If we lynch, there will be one less townie and I'll say "I told you so!"

Well you guys wanted to kill a inactive, and I have proven not to be an inactive, so killing me for the convience of just killing someone because i have a few votes on me before I started posting wouldnt be a smart move, but killing someone that is truely inactive would be a better move.

So if you are going to force me to point the finger at someone, I draw on Lord Zetano

Well, with the slight cost that antitown get a kill as well...

Unless they are the Riddler, you shouldn't make poems. Unless you wish to claim you are?

I am the entertainer and I know just where I stand

Another serenader and another long haired band

Today I am your champion, I may have won your hearts,

But I know the game, you'll forget my name,

And I won't be here in another year

If I don't stay on the charts

I'm unsure of who to vote and I am not particularly active, not that I need to be considering how little information we know and have no solid overview of the roles present.

The bandwagon is on a mostly inactive person and I usually only want to lynch inactive people if I have to, I prefer that to an active person and the only way to end this day is for us to decide on action.

In which case I do hereby declare that I join the bandwagon.

However we need to depose of the body using corrosive substance, can't have dead bodies with the feds around us.

Draw on Lord Zetano

So the thing is, nights are typically better for scum, and days are typically better for town. So lynching is a very important tool for the town, and to nolynch even on day 1 seems like a waste.

That said, this logic holds better for odd-player setups, as there are incentives to not lynch in even-player setups (notably 4-player MiLo). Concerning day 1, there is no risk of mislynching and losing (parity-wise it's only slightly unfavorable) and we lose out on our lynch power.

As such, we lose around 3/4 of a town and 1/4 of a scum if we lynch day 1 (often this is a bit better due to tells). But at night we lose a town almost certainly (unless a doctor manages to protect a kill or something)

That said, I think we kinda lynched Lord Zetano already!? Well, unless that's not 6 votes.

As such, we lose around 3/4 of a town and 1/4 of a scum if we lynch day 1 (often this is a bit better due to tells).

If it were random, this would be true. The problem is that the scum won't vote for themselves so they'll join a bandwagon on a townie but not on a scum. Also consider the blow to townie chances when the townie that is lynched has a power role.

Pull those clips!

what just happened? asked PerfectMafia. I don't know, said one of the voices of the group. I thought we were going to shoot sweeeeet ronny d. then there were some fast draws, a yippie ca yey, some sort of lyrics contest and now we're sitting here looking at his dead corpse.

well, if you morons killed him and didn't even know you were about to do it, at least search him and see if he was the snitch.

they searched the body and only find a calling card on him revealing that he was also Quentin tarantino, a pretty famous local movie director.

Lord Zetano (Soothsayer) was lynched day 1.

Night 1 begins now. Those of you with night actions, send e your choices until wednesday, 5pm gmt, feb 26.

also, who do i talk to to lock this thread? i.e. no posting until day2 starts. i mean it. i might mod kill.

You are all awakened by a policeman shouting on a megaphone:

- come out with your hands up. We already have Electric Mango, your Getaway driver!

what will our heroes do next?

Electric mango, getaway driver, caught Night 1.

it is now Day 2.

With 10 alive, it takes 5 to lynch.

No one is the current wagon leader at L-5

also, mod note, i might come back later to edit some of the flavor in my posts.
