Reservoir dogs mafia

Rules:

  1. The mod is GOD. There are some unusual features in this game. Feel free to PM me, but don't just assume I've made a mistake. I'll answer in thread if I have, but may not if it is intended behavior.
  2. Orange is my color of choice. I'm the only one who can write in orange.
  3. Voting occurs at the end of a gun barrel in this game. Specifically, your gun: Draw on [Name] to 'vote' for someone. Holster to unvote. I won't be a Nazi about this, but it does add flavor. Finger of Suspicion (FOS) remains unchanged. And if you want to vote for a no lynch, you will need to Remove Clip
  4. Once enough barrels are aimed at a particular person, they will be swiss cheese and the day is over. You may speak in twilight until the night scene is posted.
  5. Dead men tell no tales, in case you were wondering. A single uninformative 'flavor' post is acceptable, of course.
  6. Nights will last around 3-4 days, perhaps somewhat shorter in the late game or if all choices are in. If you need an extension, let me know.
  7. Days will last as long as they need to, within reason. If discussion lags, I may impose a retractable deadline. If it lags again the same 'Day', the next deadline will be firm. No one dies if a deadline arrives without the required number of drawn weapons. Remember, you're crooks, not townies; act like it!
  8. Acting as a crook does not require personal attacks, flames, or spamming. Violators will be re-educated with extreme prejudice.
  9. Don't edit or delete existing posts. See Rule #7.
  10. Don't quote any PMs from the mod. See Rules #7 & #8.
  11. Don't discuss this game out of thread unless you have permission from the mod. See rules #7, #8, & #9 for clarification.
  12. If you're going to be gone for a significant length of time, let everyone know. Management not responsible for other players believing your claim of absence, however.
  13. Have fun with it; this is a bit different of a game.
  14. Don't make me make you shoot yourself in the head.

I mean, if you look at the voting patterns, Comm Shep was also town. (EM died N1; and it's clearly irrational, scum or not scum, to vote yourself) So it's basically a byproduct of town not having complete information (in contrast to the scum having this information). Heck, this is the premise of Mafia in general.

Vote Count 3.2

    Not Voting (1) - iSocialism

With 7 alive, it takes 4 to lynch.

zenonia is the current wagon leader at L-1

PerfectMafia, Imran Ehsan, and Robert2424 are the players I trust most to be townie since they actively lynched a scum with me.

Since PerfectMafia and Robert2424 haven't seen fit to lynch Zenonia with Imran and me, I'll join their wagon on LordRagnar.

Draw on LordRagnar

Well, then there would be 3 scum left. Which you know isn't the case (pretty sure we would have 3 scum out of 12)

I don't know, I just feel very uncomfortable with *someone* being at L-1. Too dangerous. (And yes, I'm pretty sure I would've instahammered if I were scum.)

Or either the scum know you are scum and they do not want to vote for you. Or, either the other scum are/is (not sure how many are left) voting for you because when you die and it is found out that you are a cop it wouldn't look bad on them as they voted for a cop.

But think. You say that both PerfectMafia and Robert2424 don't think I'm scummy enough.

Let's assume I'm scum.

They cannot BOTH be scum is what I'm getting at. The setup is almost surely 3 scum at the beginning and Ronny died, so 2 are left.

It is possible that the other scum is bussing me.

But it's a lot more reasonable that I'm a doctor (and a lot more consistent with everything), as nobody counterclaimed my doctor claim. Either way, you should be suspicious of whoever is/was voting for me. It's really fortunate that iSocialism was inactive and KevinH switched his vote.

For the record, I don't think the lynch on LRA is entirely reasonable either, but you might as well roleclaim since you're at L-1 :P

I still think we should be lynching zenonia. Unfortunately zenonia now has the deciding vote so seems like LR is getting lynched. I really dont buy the Doctor claim. It does not fit at all with what he is caiming as being a lock breaker...quite a stretch to go from there to doc.

Also to add, if zenonia you are a doc, why did you protect Lyner randomly on N2. Why not protect robert2424, the only player who claimed to have an active ability at night?

ahh scratch that. i see you said you protected robert on n2. got confused with that d1, d2 thing.

There is no way I am lynching LRA without a roleclaim. I'm very careful with my hammer-votes.

Actually, "lock breaker" (actually "safe breaker") is the flavored role. It is FUNCTIONALLY EQUIVALENT to a doctor, which is what I was getting at. (Well, I can't protect non-cop "kills".)

Have you ever thought that if he did and when I was lynched it was revealed I was town, which is what will happen, that it would make him look suspicious. Of course he's not going to vote for me because it'll put the target on himself whenever the lynch is over. It is a good strategy albeit but I do not buy the doctor claim, as if he were a doctor and so sure I was scum he would have no problem voting me, but by him not wanting to vote for me that signifies an effort of not wanting to paint a target on himself when I am lynched and it is revealed I am town.

Well, role-claiming is typically a tactic of scum so that the real person who has the role they are claiming will come out. I think there are more than one scum left.

Not always so. If you had some night abilities it helps the town in that they have more info even when you die. If you are getting lynched, whatever info you had dies with you. So unless you are a vanilla townie, you dying without role claiming and giving more info to the town is a bad move. In this case, it seems you will get lynched if you dont role claim, so you refusing to role claim does not help the town in any way.
