What do you think is the dumbest city in this great nation of ours?
By this I mean, what's you least favorite city and why?
For all you foreigners, feel free to name a city from your country, or just join in and help us hate America.

Personally, my vote goes to Las Vegas.
Why? Well aside from the fact its unbearably hot, its absolutely ridiculous. Its like a giant playground for adults, only its actually themed like a giant playground. Further more, the people suck. (Sorry Vegas dwellers) Everyone there seems to have a mask for public presentation and you never feel like your talking to a real person. I can walk down the strip and have 20 different people offer to mug me, sell me drugs, or try to scam me.
Also, why all the cockroaches yo?

I would have to say Los Angeles.  I have been there several times and never enjoyed it other than Universal Studios.   Reason - gigantic parking lots masked as highways, traffic, smog, crime, etc. ... for what?  Then nearby in Beverly Hills you have all the movie/TV stars and Justin Bieber, Lindsay Lohan and Ted running around.  With those,  do you need to say more?  Well I will.  The city with the size that it is cannot keep football teams and even confiscates the team name of nearby teams so they have more than one baseball team (Anaheim Angels now Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim).  Movie producers try to help everyone out by suggesting all the futuristic doomsday events take place in LA.

 

I though Las Vegas was at least ... entertaining.

 

Oh, that is why my capital city is ... Los Angeles.

I enjoyed Las Vegas when I was there a month or so ago on vacation, but it certainly was not a place I would want to live near or stay for a long time...simply for my aggrivation with people who annoy me and my bank account would eventually become non-existent.

 

But you're right, it's basically an adult playground.  I never got hit up to buy any drugs when I was there, but what annoyed me were the people at night constantly trying to hand me cards with naked girls on them and phone numbers to call them for sex, and the people handing them out wearing shirts with a lifeguard red cross saying orgasm doctor or something.  That and people stopping me and my wife asking if we were 25, then trying to get us to go on a timeshare presentation to get free tickets to a show or something.  We got drug into one of those...had to go to a 4 hour presentation/tour for a timeshare, and just kept saying no, and did get 2 free tickets and buffet to a Circue Su Soliel KA show..and the presentation was during the day, where things are pretty quiet so it wasn't all that bad...just as long as you can keep saying no.
