was just looking at my nation and noticed that i will have been in IRON for almost 1yr now and have managed to stay a cadet the whole time....

what is the record?

tbh i just don't think that i should need to sit tests to be classed as good at a game

1 year in IRON. 0 casualties. all FA slots open. 0 LCs at 5250 infra = no swapping.

 

still a cadet? no surprise there.

they are on my 2 do list FA slots open due to bad farming experience(dates were so far out that there was no war to tell if you were getting ripped of or ripping someone else off)

and i have ZERO casualties  because i was given no targets for the war we just had.

We don't rip people off, so you don't have to worry about that. If you really want to be 100% sure, you can just make an excellsheet and keep track of your aid offers.

And I'm pretty sure that I PMed you last war to declare on some one, you were around 18k NS last war. (As I PMed every nation in Delta and Echo)

There are no classes. You only read the few threads we have in the academy and sign up for graduation. The requirements to graduate are ridiculously easy, and like said people graduate within the first week, I have seen people sign up for graduation in the first day.

And you are right. But the tests (when they were still obligatory) and indeed the classes are there to help you understand the "grand complication" that is the Republic. The structures, the culture and the institutions of the Republic are complicated and tend to cause (at the very least)  some confusion. Trying to ensure that the Republic's cadets look in to materials that are there to make them feel more comfortable and at home in this Community is the very least this Republic can do for you

If you've had bad experience in the past, don't hesitate to talk to the IRON Vault leadership. They'll be more than happy to give you a helping hand and help you resolve any issues that you might face.

 

Next Campaign that comes up, be proactive and look for the targets ... its a blast and worth the effort

The Academy is nothing more than a guided tour of IRON and CN, to be intimidated by tests you are given the answers to is not something you should be bragging about...

Hours of work have been poured into the academy all for the sake of helping new nations such as yourself. All of this information is given freely to make you a better player and you ignore it because you feel you know better than those who have come before you? 

I can tell you that not a single person in IRON will make you graduate, that just ins't their style. They will spend their entire CN life trying to help you despite it being ignored and tossed aside.

As for myself I'm no longer in IRON so I'm going to tell you what everyone else is too nice to say to you. You sir are ignorant. You have been given the opportunity to learn from some of the best players in all of CN and yet you are choosing to not take full advantage of the knowledge and teachings of those around you and instead limit your own ability to the little that you know. Instead of absorbing the collective knowledge IRON offers you are content with hiding in the protection of its shadow like a leech while staying ignorant to the greater world and inner workings of CN being offered to you.

Then you should ask your military commanders for targets.
