USA possibly safe out of the group tomorrow? Methinks yes!

I have this really bad feeling that portugal is going to really pour it on the US. I mean, of course I am cheering hard for the red white and blue...but that 4-0 thumping by the Germans may have lit a fire that we don't have big enough extinguishers for. Hope for a solid US win...knockout stages would be awesome!!!

Honestly, Ghana should have won yesterday ... apart from a few sparks from der Elf, they were a better side. Pains me to say it, but there you go.

That works too. There are - sadly - an exceptionally high proportion of footballers to whom I wish injury... you'd think if you're being paid millions a year you could at least get on with the game rather than roll around clutching whatever body part is nearest whenever someone bumps you. Would really like to see them playing rugby xD.

Well that draw doesn't help either team. You could see it from the mood of both teams and supporters. Nothing is gained, but it was a great match from a neutral perspective.
