They also lesson the chance of injuries to their top players, and getting cards. Also a tie would give them first place no matter what. Tbh if I was Germany, I'd much rather have the US then Ghana, as Ghana just ties Germany and Ghana for most part controlled the US game, but lost. Report

They finish first by winning or drawing, due to goal differential. They risk not making the next round by losing. Ghana is very dangerous, maybe more dangerous than the US, and I think Germany would prefer the US went through. Just my $.50. Report
