You make a good point, although if there is a townie with an observe ability, we could see who (if anyone) attacked him. Also we might have a jailor who could jail him, but if he is a useful role that would also block his own ability. So it might be possible for him to claim and it help us, it also might help the town in the case that he's lying, it may help us sniff him out.

i'm new to mafia but i'm pretty sure there are scum/townie role blockers, so if you're trying to prove you're a townie - it doesn't really change anything.

 

Walk me through how you deduced he was a role-blocker from these posts.  Why not a doctor or a cop or watcher or any other town role?  I was thinking about changing my vote off Hippo with his role-claim, but nothing says he isn't a scum role-blocker and you aren't one of his partners.  I think we learn a bit if he is lynched.  For instance, if he is scum then you are probably also scum but if we lynch him and he is town then you are cleared for not tossing on that 9th vote when you could have done it.

 

Then again, I would guess there are two scum teams with each team having a mafia role-cop and two goons so role-blocker is probably not a scum role.  Going off that assumption, I will put you both on my "not scum" list, but I'd still like to know what made you make that leap of judgement.

I've said it from the start & plenty of times EM & KevinH are permanately on my suspect list, so either of them were the ideal candidate I was going to root to get lynched.

 

Initially it was Big Ego who was the wagon leader and EM seemed more pressed on that, which was where I stepped in and started the wagon on him.

But first, i have stated numerous times, not just in this game but in even in the other game that I'm suspecting EM & KevinH as scum.

 

I don't know who is scum and nobody has any clue on day 1, it's completely random so far, so it's fair for me to assume whoever I like. Me pointing fingers at KH & EM is purely because I know they're the most experienced as they have been playing for years and I believe that's fair as there's no real concrete conspiracy building until after the first lynch, so there isn't really any basis for a real reason to lynch someone.

 

As for your second q,

 

Because I'm pro keeping night as far away as possible, it builds suspense and helps generate more content to decide who scum are.
