The mafia obviously saw Lord Hippo as a threat. I cleared Hippo right before my vote on EM, which I am sorry I made the vote on. I am giant to look at Hippo's vote history and who he was against. I also found Shamwow's rounding up of votes on EM and pulling out at the last second veerry fishy. I will follow up with my results.

Lord Hippo role claimed a power role even with the momentum shifting away from him. Honestly it seemed like he was asking for it a night. It is promising that a mafia member was killed last night though.

Right now I see Big Ego as scum. He was one of the closest to lynch, and Lord Hippo was part of that wagon for a long time until convinced. Emudevelopment, he was asking for it. Just putting in my two cents.

Wow 3 townies gone and only 1 scum, that's a quarter of the players just within the first day/night - this game is moving really fast :/

 

i'm going to assume Rafay didn't make it that it was 50/50 townies/scum and maybe something like 70/30 and with that assumption i'd say we have about 10/11 townies and 6/5 scum.

 

Also how does it work that KevinH (mafia) got killed if he wasn't lynched, did one of his partners kill him, I don't get that.. or is that a random kill or something??

Can you explain how it was fishy or are you just trying to point fingers?

 

Might want to read up a little as I just explained my pulling out of voting of EM to Hippo (RIP) & TBR which is completely logical.

I was assuming there are two scum teams of 3 players each, well probably a team of two and a team of three now.  I also assumed both teams were made up of one Mafia Role Cop and two goons.  Good chance one team is down to just two goons.  We probably have a vigilante who killed one of the scum or who killed a townie while the 2nd scum team killed Kevin.  Lord Hippo seemed like an obvious kill after claiming a power role so I am surprised one of the scum teams took that kill.  Hopefully we had someone watch him and they post results today.

Yes it seems this is the case as with the setup it is almost certain that there are two scum teams. I urge you to vote against Big Ego. He has been lurking and seems like he NK'ed Hippo. Samus, I believe you are a townie. I just needed a bit of clearing up on why you left those wagons at L-1.

3 kills. pretty interesting. At first I was thinking there are scum, a SK and a Vig. Robert's dead looks very like a SK kill.

 

But, TBR's idea makes a lot more sense. 2 scum teams and 1 SK. The role alignment change possibility fits in nicely in that scenario too and will not ruin the balance of the game, if, the scum has ability to turn members oof 2nd scum team into their group. the townies cant be turned but scum can switch teams. That will make a very interesting game.

 

One more thing to add. At the moment, I would say Samoos is definitely town. He was pretty vocal about suspecting EM and Kevin on Day 1. EM turned out town but Kevin was scum. This gives him some bonus townie points imo.

1) Imran Ehsan - I am roughly 85% sure you are scum.  The only informative post you provided D1 was when you provided your analysis between Hippo and EM, two townies, as to which you felt was more likely scum.  Safe analysis when you knew neither was your scum mate.  The rest of your posts feel different then when you played a town previously.  What stood out to me was a random vote for iS0 along with "His posts looks scummy to me" as your logic.  I had just taken notes on every post made up to that point and nothing iS0 posted came across as scummy.

 

2) Lyner - You are posting different than you have the last two games I played with you.  You have been tossing suspicion around to several players without any rationale rather than staying under the radar a bit like you normally do.  If I had to guess, I'd say you are a mafia goon this time around.  A fun role where you want to be active and spread some confusion (see all of Kevin's posts), but not concerned with protecting a power role or staying out of the limelight because you are townie.

 

3) mariomario190 - I blame most of this on you being new, but is that the WIFOM?  Would Rafay allow you to stay as scum after the initial fiasco?  If this was the initial game and we had only day 1 to go off of, you be higher on my list.  As is, I wouldn't put it past Rafay to just flip you to a mafia goon.  You jumped from person to person with your suspicion; Big Ego, iSo, EM.  It felt very opportunist, much like the final vote you placed on EM to lynch him and end the day early.

 

4) Master Master Samus - I had you listed as town going into N1 and had Kevin and Robert as scum on my list.  Robert wasn't scum so that means I missed someone.  I still give you townie points for not putting the final vote on Hippo, but was that a calculated decision to not have the final vote?

Good post, very informative. I also got a EXTREMELY scummy vibe from Imran and I had him at a 70 percent on my scum list. I'll go with you on this one.

I suggested someone protect Hippo last night. Did no observer observe him either? Geez, c'mon guys. We knew he'd be a high-value target for scum (unless he himself was scum, ofc)

Oh well, nothing to do now but keep marching forward.

To respond to Mario's accusation, I didn't hold any resentment for Hippo voting against me. I suggested someone use night actions to defend him, you think I'd still try to attack him that same night? I'm as surprised as anyone, maybe more surprised, because I thought for sure townies would move to defend or observe him.

Also, I voted for KevinH early and only changed my vote b/c no wagon developed and I had to support a wagon on EM to defend myself. KevinH was one of the ones who voted to lynch me. So, you all can be fairly certain I am not on KevinH's team.

Now.. day 2.. what to do..

My top suspects:

Raugln, Ovid, Imran.

Raugln & Imran for reasons TBR stated.

Ovid for not posting much (if any) poetry yet.. this is very unusual.. but, after being lynched last game and losing the huge posts he made in this game before it was reset.. maybe he's just not feeling it.

I was about to add the 4th vote to Imran but Emu just did that for me. Don't want to add the 5th yet, b/c I want to give Imran a chance to respond before we lynch him.

So instead I'll do nothing for the moment.

I'll weigh in a bit here. I doubt that the people who voted for 'townies' are all scum considering the momentum of the bandwagon most of the newer players felt secure jumping on a bandwagon with all the notable players. I think a more fair analysis would be looking at the reason why people started wagons. Shamwow's reason reflects that that he uses when he votes for someone on other games I have seen. He was simply starting the wagon because he wanted to kill someone first day. He could be scum but he's not at the top of my list because I have seen similar behaviors from him. I think Imran is fishy and I believe that Big Ego just has a bit of a scum vibe but thats just me. I dont have much evidence from previous playthroughs so thats why Im not starting bandwagons.

I like the post. It is very informative. Imran has also been lurking for quite some time and his posts are mostly fluff. I'm also getting a scummy vibe from him. Big Ego has always seemed scummy and has not posted much info, also mostly fluff. I am very sure that emu is not scum. He pointed out the KevinH thing as said above and helped out. All i've really seen from you mario is just following whatever wagon there is, you're really active but you don't post concrete analysis to the reason you want to change your vote all the time.
