We now have Clinton running for presidency, who else do we have? And what are their odds?

Just for a quick example: Hilary's campaign video is already at 3.5k dislikes...

Democrats no one yet, GOP, I think the best candidates has yet to enter.

As of today, realistic candidates:

Hillary Clinton (D-NY)

Ted Cruz (R-TX)

Rand Paul (R-KY)

Less ... ahem ... likely ... candidates do exist, including the wonderfully named Vermin Supreme, who hopefully will revive his 2012 platform, which included:
1) A free pony for every American

2) Zombie apocalypse awareness education

3) Federal funding for time travel research

Marco Rubio will announce today.

My opinion, I hope a Republican candidate wins... dont mind me...... I have my own political views

Hilary Clinton announces 2016 run. Meh, what difference does it make?

Going to be a hard for her to gain votes given her screw ups. Only the die hard liberals, uniformed voters, and feminists would cast a vote for her.

An early declaration is usually not a good sign. It indicates that you are not confident the party will support you, and hope to gain enough grassroots support to overcome any doubts your own party might have about your candidacy. If your own party doubts you, it's usually because they don't think you'll win the general election. And they are probably correct.

Note: this does not apply to "inevitable candidates" like those sitting in office already. None who have declared are inevitable, except for Rand Paul who will always run for president and will always fail.

Her SouthPark episode is going to dominate the re-runs

Potentially true regarding early announcements, but I think we're at about the average time when announcements of candidacies are made.

As outlined in this FiveThirtyEight post, for both parties going back to the 1970s, the average announcement date was ~300 days before the Iowa Caucuses.  Since those have been scheduled for February 1, 2016, 300 days prior to the caucuses is April 7, 2015, which is to say, now!  Therefore does not seem unusual that the four major announcements we've had so far have been bracketed by March 23rd (Cruz) and April 13th (Rubio).

Interesting fact, if Hillary wins, with the exception of Obama, American presidents will have been from two families exclusively from 1989-2020/2024.  It's basically a monarchy!

Hillary was supposed to be crowned in 2008. She suffered humiliation when her party turned on her in favor of Obama. She has not allowed that to happen this time. She sucked all the air out of the normal process, bullied anyone else away from getting any traction, and has purchased the loyalty of all others that matter. She will walk to the Democrat nomination and step right into a buzzsaw.

Hillary didn't want to announce this early. She wanted to wait until summer, and wanted to force the Benghazi hearings to be over with before she announced. Trey Gowdy knows what he's doing, and would not proceed until he gets all the evidence. Where's all the emails from the State Department? Oh boy... secret servers, deleted documents, destroyed hard drives, lies, crime, lies, crime, crime...

Typical Clinton. She announced now in an attempt to stop the bleeding. She hopes people will once again look the other way. She hopes once again the rules will not apply to her... she's Bill's wife after all. The Democrats are stuck with her. No one else can put together a meaningful campaign. We so need to repair the republic. It will take honesty, sacrifice, and a lot of willpower.

Saying we need to repair the republic is as much of a cliche as saying that CN is dying. I don't think Hilary's a lock for the nomination. Both Obama and Clinton's husband came a little out of left field. There's still a lot of governors/senators who haven't said a word.

It may be cliche', but both are true. Bill Clinton was a southern Democrat Governor... they have gone the way of the mammoth. Hillary is a damaged candidate with more baggage than she has people to carry it. Anyone else that can possibly run, would run to her left and be destroyed like McGovern or Dukakis. Hillary will run as Bill's wife and "let's make history and elect a women". She will have to put on quite a performance to mask the lying, criminal lawyer is has always been.

Fuck Hilary

I don't get why you guys dislike Hillary. I need reasons, why?, explanation, ext...

-The Clinton Foundation accepting money from foreign governments, especially ones such as Saudi Arabia.

-Her deleting all of her emails and having her own email server rather then a governmental one while she served as the secretary of state.

I don't get why you guys dislike Hillary. I need reasons, why?, explanation, ext...

Honestly, I don't really know anything about her that's why I ask. The only thing I know is that she has been in politics for years.

Your talking points are straight from MSNBC.  We are not all Tea Party grassroots conservatives.  Please express your political views and encourage lively discussion.  But could you please do it without your attempts at accusing us all of being southern confederate racist?  Please... I supported Herman Cain and now support Ben Carson... As far as I know they are African Americans.

Doesn't matter who you support, Hillary is going to win. The only chances you have of beating her is if fatty mcdbag (Chris Christie) runs. Although while he is the most electable republican, his policies would prevent him from gaining a second term unless he gets lucky and a major natural disaster hits america during his presidency.

Fuck Hilary

I am Road2Victory and I support this two word statement

ROFL. Hilary is going to win. Most hilarious thing I have heard all day.

So lets hear your reasoning as to why you expect America will chose Obama 2.0? America made it clear in the 2014 Senate and Representatives election that they do not want Democrats running our government. What makes it so obvious that by 2016 people will want a liberal extremist in the office again?

Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of Republicans I don't like because they are just as liberal and want big government controlling your ever day life. But isn't it obvious people like Hilary lie and lie and lie and will never tell the truth. But I suppose since ABC, CBS, MSNBC, NBC, CNN all talk about how whichever Democrat is running for election is Lord Jesus Christ and Savior, the American public doesn't know what to believe.

Pray tell, what exactly is a "liberal extremist?"

Pray tell, what exactly is a "liberal extremist?"

Someone who is on the far left side of the political spectrum. Not as far as Communism, but someone wanting a soft socialist state. Big government, high taxes, government controlled mandatory programs, infringement on rights, large emphasis on controlling power.
