May 7, 201511 yr comment_776932 I hear all your concerns Foxy. I don't understand how we can hate a Monarchy, but every time we elect a President we have to be tortured by their entire family. Mike Huckabee was a Baptist minister, so it's just who he is. I grew up in Christian schools, but I have been agnostic since I was able to ask questions. Having a President that believes in God is part of the platform. I can't think of anyone who has ever run on the athiest ticket. Strong faith doesn't bother me... on the other hand I prefer it. It shows that the person in office has a moral compass. Hillary is just trying to ride this all out to the nomination. She knows if she talks, she'll start to lose, and if her support weakens any further she will have a primary challenge, and she could lose. She doesn't want to face a strong attack on her left, that's what happened to her in 08. She wants to be coronated so she can lie her way to the White House. It's up in the air, but I have always liked Marco Rubio, ever since he destroyed Charlie Crist so bad he ran to the Democrats. Report

I have a fundamental problem that a candidate for most powerful position in world of the most powerful nation has to bend over and take care of 'their' interests, which may or may not be in greater interest of the nation. I hear GOP candidates even have to basically give interview... Hope you see my point, and this isn't a troll bait. Edited May 11, 201511 yr by Shahenshah Report
May 11, 201511 yr comment_777857 Huckabee is running again. lolWhy can't that dude just stick to annoying me on Fox News? Who's got the best shot against Hilary? All of them. I think as soon as she starts talking about the cash and the emails someone else will primary her and she'll tank.I'm really on the side of Huckabee, Rubio, Walker, and I will vote for Bush or Cruz if they pull it off. I'm a solid red Republican, so I'll vote the ticket regardless. We shall see. Not another Bush please? ANYONE but another Bush!!! And I mean anyone. I'll legit take a half eaten pop-tart in office over another Bush. So you automatically discredit Jeb Bush because you didn't like his brother when he was President? Besides his last name, what don't you like about Jeb Bush? Huckabee just references God far too often for most peoples taste. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a man sharing and living out his faith in God. I'm glad that he speaks freely about his faith. It's a heck of a lot better than what the majority of the mainstream media carries on about every single day. Report

The left loves to smear people that make money, but they never smear their own. Tom Steyer donates hundreds of millions to candidates as long as they support his chicken little, global warming alarmist agenda. Does anyone ever investigate how much money these people will make if they ever get their way? George Soros is the scum of the planet, and makes billions from currency manipulation... chaos is his business. The Koch's do everything for the benefit of the country. Their charities are first order, and they do much more than anyone ever hears about. Sheldon Adelson is only concerned about Israel and supports their cause, sorry it's not in line with your agenda. May 12, 201511 yr comment_777989 How large does a multinational corporation have to be before their donation is considered foreign money? That question is a bit above my pay grade. My guess is it's not the size of the corporation, but who is the majority shareholder. Whoever has controlling interest controls the corporation. Money, no matter who you are, can only take you so far in a campaign. If people don't like you, it doesn't matter how much money is spent... you will not get their vote. I hate campaign ads, but I pay attention and know who I'm voting for instantly. I will vote for whichever Republican has the best chance to keep Democrats from destroying my way of life. May 18, 201511 yr comment_779293 Rick Perry says he's going to run for President. I don't know who I am going to vote for the Republican party. It's mainly a toss up, whoever has a better shot at beating Hilary is the one I am going to vote for. I will see who knows it could be Vermin Supreme for the fun of it. In the coming months, especially in the late fall I should have a feeling who to vote for. Report
May 18, 201511 yr comment_779299 Rick really stepped in a huge pile in 2012. Too bad because I really thought he would shake earth, but he was not ready to run and it's hard to get a second chance to make a first impression. There will be more Republicans announcing and by the time the convention rolls around it will be hard to keep track. There is no front-runner, so that just encourages everyone that has a group of people telling them they are a lock if they just throw their name in. The debates will come in the fall and that will start to tell a story, for they can't let everyone on the stage. They will limit them to those that poll the highest... I can't imagine more than 8 on the stage. When February comes we have the Iowa caucus, and the pack will thin immediately when the most conservative do not have a good showing. They will know they can't win the nomination and pull out. We will see more leave the race after New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada. On March 1st I believe we have Super Tuesday and we will then know who has the best chance to grab the golden ring. Hopefully by then Hillary will be so covered in her own deception she can't see the light of day. Report

May 19, 201511 yr comment_779645 "but is local money ok to do foriegn bidding?"... I'm not really understanding this question, I can't give an opinion if I don't know your meaning. What the American people do with their money is their business. I'm a Libertarian and believe everyone should be able to do whatever they want as long as it doesn't hurt someone else. "Hurt" means actual damages, such as losing cash, position, property, or personal injury... hurt "feelings" are bullshit and get into the realm of "political correctness", which is the work of insane liberalism that wants to control society by making specific human emotion a crime. That's why I don't believe in "Hate Crime"... it's trying to punish people for feeling. This is getting off the rails of money influence but it's my way of saying I don't really care. Report

And here I thought "hate crime" was designed to additionally punish those who inflict harm on people on the basis of prejudice. You punish the crime... not the reason. Everyone is equal under the law. When you start treating people different because of the way they feel about other people, we will end up in a world of shit, because it always cuts both ways and then pretty soon no one is accountable for anything because everyone can make a case that they are hated for something. If we are ever going to rid ourselves of racism, or gayism, or blondism, or any other hate-ism you can think of... we have to begin with prohibiting the "ism" excuses for everything. Man kills a man... man gets punished under the law. It doesn't matter that the black man hated the white dude, or who the dude was having sex with. You're just complicating the obvious. Report
May 20, 201511 yr comment_779798 so any "added" crime related motivation should be abolished? Both negative (the hate one) as positive (for example defence)? fine, 30y per dead person! I don't care if you outright hated the fellow for all the socially/morally wrong reasons or cause he was cutting your family members fingers off 1 by 1, you get 30y. Lysistrata, you dislike "hate speech", not "hate crime"! A distinctions with a more plausible explaination (w00t freedom of all the things in the USA!!). Report
May 20, 201511 yr comment_779850 That's why we have a judge, a jury, and degrees of the crime committed. They are charged with determining a verdict and coming up with right punishment for the crime. If a man kills a man because he raped his daughter, the jury can decide they would have done the same thing and go light on the guy... but if you start implanting human emotion into the law itself to force higher punishment, you will soon get a black man who kills a white man for the $372.00 he had in his pocket, but the black guy gets set free because the dude he killed was an obvious racist from posts on his Facebook. It's not a crime to be a hateful person. Report

Prejudice has nothing to do with emotions and everything to do with actions. I don't care if Bob hates Sally because she is Jewish, but if he punches her in the face soley because she is Jewish then I take issue with it, and am glad the "hate crime" designation exists. A hate crime is a traditional offense like murder, arson, or vandalism with an added element of bias. For the purposes of collecting statistics, Congress has defined a hate crime as a “criminal offense against a person or property motivated in whole or in part by an offender’s bias against a race, religion, disability, ethnic origin or sexual orientation.” Hate itself is not a crime—and the FBI is mindful of protecting freedom of speech and other civil liberties. May 20, 201511 yr comment_779886 Elizabeth Warren seems to be trying to get to the left of Hillary like Obama did in 2008, but neither seem to have a good chance in a general election given Hillary's unavailability ratings near 50% and Warren's far leftist views. The GOP seems to have the best shot at a president in 2016. Scott Walker, Rand Paul, and Jeb Busch are looking pretty good, however Marco Rubio or Ted Cruz might be able to pull over Hispanic voters who tend to lean left (except for Cubans, who Generally vote Republican. May 21, 201511 yr comment_779981 depending on the GOP candidate: someone crawling over the border. You're just a barrel of laughs. It must be nice to be able to sit in Belgium and throw shit on millions of people you don't even know, but I guess it's how you deal with your own insignificance. The Republicans are strongly against illegal immigration. This has become a huge problem from decades of leadership unwilling to confront the issue. Currently it's easier to break the law and "crawl over the border" than to follow the law and become a welcome guest. This is what Republicans want. How did you handle the 15 million people that just came into Belgium without notice? Oh yeah... never happened... since your whole country is roughly the size of New York City. Report
