So I'm trying to make this animated pip and it's not working so well.

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Color of the pip doesn't really matter.

Better?

You had a frame at the beginning of the animation which was just the background image alone (hence the disappearing), and other frames with parts of the background transparent. Just opened in Photoshop, removed the standalone frame from the timeline, and enabled the background image through all frames (to counter the transparency.)
