personally i couldnt care less about basketball but for the stanley cup I have to pick tampa bay. My father is a blackhawks fan and i am a carolina hurricanes fan (they have not done so hot in the past few years but i am still loyal to the end) so i picked the lightning because they are also a southeastern team. its odd isnt it that i am a new england patriots fan and a carolina hurricanes fan and yet i live in michigan. no bandwagon either, started playing hockey in north carolina and i got into football when i lived in the new england area.and yeah  seriously what is the nba? lol

Spurs are a good team but their era is over for now. They need players to replace tony Parker and Tim Duncan.
Mavs need a solid PG and improve their bench. You can attribute that the mavs lost the series against Houston because of rondo and parsons injuries. Other than that they could set their eye for another nba championship

Very very true. Although the Spurs have the strongest defensive player (Kawhi Leonard), they have a top three in the league bench, and 5 championships over 18 years of Western Conference domination. Steve Kerr, current coach of the Warriors, won a championship in 2003 with the Spurs, and Dennis Rodman also won a championship with the Spurs. The Spurs have been good for a long time; they were good enough not to be dissolved. Actually, emu, you and I live literally across the street where the Spurs started playing, Moody Coliseum. The Spurs were Dallas' first true basketball team. Just my two cents

True otherwise mavs suck I think after next season dirk could retire. I feel like the mavs bargained too much with the rondo trade. They were much better without rondo. Spurs I think their era is over. Their big three maybe retiring soon.
