The alliance known as the Independent Republic of Orange Nations (IRON) was initially founded on March 16th, 2006 under the name of "The OD Alliance". The name was changed to the Independent Republic of Orange Nations when the first ruling body (IRON Council) decided to move the alliance to the Orange color sphere in Cyber Nations and IRON formally announced our existence to the Cyber Nations world on April 28th, 2006. The Independent Republic of Orange Nations (IRON) has been one of the premier alliances in Cyber Nations world since our founding. We are one of the longest tenured alliances in the game and have consistently been one of the top sanctioned alliances (including several stays at #1). IRON is well known in Cyber Nations for our economic (nation building) and military prowess.
