It's really really hard to say how one would react in rare scenarios like this, but what do you think you will do and try to be rational about it.

There are so many reasons that could justify why it makes sense for her to do it. And then the obvious reasons why it is.

Well first off, this woman sounds pretty crazy abusive.

I'm completely sure that I wouldn't kill any of my children in that scenario, or even beat them. No wonder her kids were so twisted if they grew up with that kind of violence. My parents never had to beat us to punish us. They were very creative and I'd say pretty effective with their disciplinary actions.

I'm pretty sure I would just use typical punishment, keep them separated when unsupervised and actually yes, call the police. I've known of similar (granted less severe) situations and it usually doesn't mean you're going to lose all of your children, or even any of them, unless it turns out there is a reason you should.

These kids seem young to be so hyper sexually aggressive. It leads me to believe there's more to this story.

What we see here is a typical case of horrible parenting (obviously not talking about the part where he killed the children), but how they turned out to be like that is the first place. A child is a carte blanche, not inherently good or bad, so apart from a very few cases (like mental illness, etc.) it's the impulses that shape their personality. The fact that the two kids turned out to be like that, is sue to the negligence of this woman.

I completely agree with this.

But then it gets you thinking, where does it end/start? How do we know the mother too didn't go through some experiences when she was growing up which shaped her mentality, which she has then been able to portray to her own kids.

or it may not even have been the mothers fault entirely, it could have just been a situation of circumstances.

-Single mom, working hard to make ends meet - doesn't have enough time in the day to be around for her kids at all times

-Probably had to get relatives to look after them

-Relatives could have exposed things to kids that the mum may have not

-Could have just been the community/friends they even hang with, even school

It all starts somewhere. It's like a continuous cycle..

Indeed, which is why I'm wondering how these kids were so sexually aggressive. Most 13 yr old girls aren't having sex let alone brutalizing their little brothers. Although I definitely think the mother is overly violent and that's more than likely why her children were. Regardless of how terrible your child is, you have to be a pretty cold person to beat them to death with a stick or force feed them Windex.

I don't know the full backstory, but if I understand correctly she didn't just find out and killed them right after, but instead tortured them for months before the final act. That in itself should tell you a lot.

As to how she came to be like this...good question. An abusive childhood is probably part of the picture, but it's too late to consider that one she's an adult. The fact is, many other people have difficult/abusive childhoods, which might leave a scar or two, but very few end up killing over it, let alone killing their own children. She should bear the full consequences of her actions, and I'm glad she will never walk the streets again.

Some people should never become parents. This is the perfect example.

She obviously waived her right to a jury trial. She's stupid enough to believe the Judge is genuinely interested in understanding her problem... in reality the Judge is asking her questions designed for her to admit guilt for every criminal offense possible, so there is no room to question when she sends her to prison for the rest of her life.

This woman failed at her primary responsibility to love and care for her children. She would have stood a better chance in Detroit with claiming a simple defense of late term abortion.

This would of ended a lot better if she ACTUALLY got an abortion.
