Now, time for my crazy theory, Imran is 2/2 on investigating people who did the kills and I hope that he is town but he is either lucky or erm.. there is something scummy going on.

My 100% certainty is beginning to slip.

Yeah. You just keep looking more scummy. Why is your 100% certainty beginning to slip? This vague references trying to throw doubt into investigation results are continuing from you from D1.

To MOD: EXTENSION REQUEST

I want to hear from Rafay regarding kevin's claim. And also need to hear more from the lurker iSocialism. Amd of course Fermion.

lol.. I guess I am just happy that I am not the only one who is crazy enough to come up with it.

So to confirm Kevin's claims:

1. Fermion needs to post and confirm he did not do any action on N1. Fermion should also let us know if his ability is x-shot or if he can kill every night.

2. Rafay needs to say he wants Kevin to reveal his action. Which will need to be confirmed by Rafay as being.

If the above 2 happens, that will mean either kevin is telling the truth or kevin, rafay and fermion are all working together (the possibility of this is very low as it will reveal all 3 scum if one is lynched).

So hearing from both Rafay and Fermion are very important. Because if that happens we can have 4 confirmed townies: me, kevin, rafay and fermion.

Leaving the scum team to be amongst: d3mon, iSocialism, COD, SM and TW

If kevin role confirmation is not done i.e. say Rafay does not want to reveal his action, it leaves us to square 1 because we dont know if kevin is lying about his role or not.

That leaves

  • iSocialism
  • The Warrior
  • Chaplain of death
  • D3mon
  • Sister Midnight

those that voted for the lynch have a greater possibility of being scum. ...

FOS:

  • The Warrior,
  • Chaplain of Death,
  • D3mon,
  • Sister Midnight

Quite the overlap!

Fermion could be a Townie Vigilante and most likely would have chosen not to kill the first night.

Unvote.

Vote: Chaplain of Death

He's trying too hard to ignore the evidence.

Hilarious. 4 out of 5 overlap and you pick me because it suites your purpose. How convenient for you. Pleaaaaaaaaaaase.

Well Fermion has been around and browsing and made no less than 5 posts in different parts of the forum today but nothing here. His actions or lack thereof are not indicative of pro-town. Also no news from Mod regarding requested extension. So our best bet for today is still lynching Fermion.

Vote: Fermion

The posts were all in important parts of the Forum, none in spammy, conversational parts. I'm technically gne fishing but somethings need looking after and Alpha and wars are one of them, even if I have sem.s coming up. Most of the posts here were also made when I sleep :P

Time to get some facts straight

There is about 15% chance that Fermion is a townie Vig and an 85% chance that he is Scum JOAT who used his 1-shot Vig ability last night. I will explain the reasons shortly.

I don't have a one shot ability. It's actually 3 shot, meaning the vigilante  can kill on three nights

Rather interesting bit of information but the fact that Fermion owned up to his kill makes his appear more townie than Rhizo did to me. Still, Vig is considered a negative town role for a reason (they mostly get it wrong) and I think lynching him might help the town but it might not be the best we can achieve today.

I had considered, that but I already explained this before, the scum are going to target me tonight anyway, so would you rather lynch me and allow them to target someone else or lynch someone who is scum / scum supporter and let them kill me?

Why not just a goon that delivered the kill? Regardless... Vote: Fermion

That seems to be a very quick vote based on your experience Kevin. Why in such a hurry?

Fermion, on 29 Apr 2016 - 10:18, said: My question is, do vigilantes and serial killers have limits on the times they can kill?   This was before he claimed to be a Vigilante. So he is either lying about being a vigilante or he is a vigilante who is not x-shot. So even if you beleive Fermion to be a townie Vig that will mean he has no x-shot ability.

That, again was to go under the radar of the scum so that I could continue my job as a Vig. If I seemed clueless about such an important aspect of the role, how could I be one?

Now. How would an inexperienced guy like me know that Vigilante has an x shot ability? You can read the Mafia wiki and it pretty much gives you the impression that the vigilante can kill however many people they want.

He claims to have killed TheDoom because he suspected him on D2 (that post was on the 22nd I think). But since then he was pretty much lurking except this pretty weird post on the 25th.   Quote As I said when imran first posted his lynch, I suspected him of faking his identity. But Rhizo as a scum made sense at the time, because of his behaviour. But since that time, a lot has changed. Several of the facts that we were basing our Lynch on have changed. Still, I think Imran was right. Trying to Lynch Rhizo brought ou t a lot of interesting info. But I don't want to kill a townie, and hence I'll withhold my vote until I'm at least reasonably sure someone's scum.   No mention of TheDoom here. But , eh does not want to lynch a townie. But has no problem of shooting dead a potential townie at night? It does not add up. If he is the Vig and does not want to kill innocent townies (which is the reason he gave for not voting for Rhizo), why would he shoot someone at night without being "reasonably sure someone's scum." Sorry it just does not add up.

This, again, was my attempt at going under the radar of scum by hoping they didnt remember I was the one who suspected Doom when he got killed.

I didn't want Rhizo to die, yes, because I wasn't sure if he was town or Scum. If he was killed and it turned out that he was a town and I killed Doom and it turned out he was town too (which was always a possibility in my head), the town could have, at worst, suffered 3 losses, and I thought it could turn out to be too much for the town and they would lose.

Add with that, he has been lurking the whole game. The above post was made by him after 5 days of lurking I think and only when I pointed out that Rafay, Fermion and iSocialism are lurking.

The lurking is more because I'm really busy (see the gone fishing thread) than anything else. I try to be as active as I can but there are a lot of posts to go through everyday. :P

What was your proof that TheDoom was scum, Fermion?

He was trying too hard to blend in. On the first day, he started pointing fingers, and when Mandarijn told him that wasn't a good strategy, he swtched to lurking. In fact I saw only around 2 posts from him after that, both of which were questions. And for the record, he is probably the most active poster in IRON. (see DAN Thread for evidence :P)

Ok, if Fermion is a town vig then why was there just 1 kill on day 1? He could still kill on that night..

Because I was still examining people at that time and there wasn't anyone (except Doom :P) that I suspected. People also said that all the major evidence turns up on day 2 so I stood by.

My rationale for voting for Fermion: he didn't perform an action in a role madness game -- sounds like a goon who didn't deliver the kill. (Note my previous post suggesting that)
I already posted my rationale for not doing anything.

I really dont buy this explanation. I think he is lying. My vote will stay.

During the night, there was losts of activity.

Bumble Bee from Titans East was flying though the air. Trying to find Beast Boy near titans tower. Sunddnly a dark figure Swoops from the bridge above her and smacks her with a long metal bar. She falls sharply down and hits the ground, Moving trying to identify her attacker. She She a tall man before her. "I never liked bugs, and you titans must be eliminated. My plan is coming together, and I can't have you in the way." Bumble Bee attempts to attack her attacker but in Vain, He strikes her down. "Pity, I expected more from you. Phase 1 complete, Phase 2 should be underway." The mysterious figure picks up Bumble bee, and is on his way.

In a remote area, next to a Power plant, sirens were going off. A large Figure with brightness to him approached the power plant. Security guards started shooting only in vain. As he busted through the gates, the a green bolt hits Overload. The Titans have arrived. Allong with some additional titans from East and some newcomers. However, without Robin the titans didn't seem to be at 100%. Argent, A newer Titan, seemed to have Overload on the ropes. Struggling, Overload kicked a car right towards cyborg, right when he was firing at Overload. The shot went wild and hit Argent instead! A shriek of pain could be heard as argent fell from from her spot. Luckily, Star Fire caught her, and Raven finished off Overload.

The text about argent clearly indicates that Cyborg was on his side and the shot that killed him was a misfire.

I think Robert made it pretty clear on D2 that the text is just flavor and we should not try to draw any conclusions from it. I would be interested to hear Robert's thoughts on this again @MOD

So if its just flavor. The only info we have from the night (from the MOD) is that 2 townies were killed. If its just flavor that misfire does not indicate a Vig kill. But again, I would like the MOD to clarify it.

My thoughts of this being a JOAT kill is that there was a TOWN JOAT. So there must a SCUM JOAT. JOATs have kill abilities (usually). So that extra kill came from a scum JOAT, not a Vigilante.

but if Kevin is not lying I cant reconcile you being a JOAT. Because a JOAT will surely use his action on N1. So I am kinda in the middle here.

I feel like you're really trying too hard to prove your point, even when there's ample evidence/logic that indicates that this was indeed a Vigilante kill.

As for the flavour part, Robert said that when we were using the red splatter thing to say that Red X killed Shah, and we all know how that turned out. That was us having different interpretations of the same fact, however in thiscase, Robert actually told us a fact: that the Titans teamed up to hunt overlord and in the skirmish, Argent, a new Titan, was killed by a misfire from another Titan, Cyborg.

There is nothing subtle about it, there is n flavour. This is mod hitting us on the head with a plain, simple fact.

Whats your thoughts on who the actual scum are?

Positive.

I followed Rafay and was told he used a watching ability.

We have already seen a JOAT, Tracker, follower, Voyeur. I am not sure if Rafay having the watcher ability gives him any townie points. Could he be the scum watcher?

If we are not making assumptions based on information we shouldn't have then stop making the assumption that there has to be a scum JOAT. Just because doom was the town JOAT doesn't mean theres a scum JOAT. Also like I said if he were JOAT he would have used an ability night 1. PERIOD. There's no way he wouldn't. Therefore how can we seriously believe that he is scum? Where is the logic?

Positive.

I followed Rafay and was told he used a watching ability.

And who did you Target @Rafay? Can you confirm what happened? You both haven't contributed much so its kind of not much to go on. You could easily be 2 scum pretending to confirm a role claim.

Rafay could be a scum JOAT since we are so convinced there is one. Just saying.

@MOD, Extension request seconded.

Well my obsession with a Scum JOAT is because we had 3 dead townies and none had the "Town" modifier added to the. So it wasnt Mandarijn, the TOWN Voyeur or Shah, the TOWN Cop (well scum cop wont make sense, but still why add Town modifier to TheDoom).

And yeah like I said, I cant reconcile Fermion being JOAT if kevin is not lying. If we believe kevin and rafay are both town that will imply Fermion is also town. In that case, we would need to look at others as potential scum.

We have already seen a JOAT, Tracker, follower, Voyeur. I am not sure if Rafay having the watcher ability gives him any townie points. Could he be the scum watcher?

By itself, a scum watcher wouldn't help the scum much, but it could easily be there to make the scum blend in.

Is Imran a scum tracker?

If we believe kevin and rafay are both town that will imply Fermion is also town. In that case, we would need to look at others as potential scum.

Or Fermion is a goon that didn't deliver the kill Night 1. That was my first suspicion.

MOD pretty much confirmed me as the Beast Boy which is a townie character, so I dont know the reason for you suggesting this.

There's two possibilities then.

That Robert didn't care to make everything factually correct

or

That Kevin is lying and he was actually watching me or Doom instead. (starfire caught Argent as he was falling). That would mean he is lying about following Rafay and that they are on the same team and they are actually using each other to validate their claims (Kevin claims Rafay is a watcher and Rafay confirms his claim and thus his role as pro town follower)

So according to this Kevin and Rafay would be scum.

But I'm not fully convinced that this is true.Every Titan has so far been a townie and given Robert's love for the Titans, it wouldn't make sense that he would change this trend, unless he really hated Starfire. Then too, even if Kevin was a confirmed follower, why would they think that we would believe that Kevin and Rafay were pro ton, unless they really think they'd be able to convince us,,, Though I still think Rafay cannot be cleared until we have found out who he was watching. He could very well be, as d3mon said, a scum watcher, if that role exists.

As for Chaplain, I am pretty sure he is not scum by looking at the tone of his posts, his posting frequency and because he is the only one apart from Imran who seems to be genuinely worried about the town win, lol.I also think there's a reason the Mandarijn was killed, because he was suspecting one of the scum and was close to blowing their cover.  (writing the rest)

By itself, a scum watcher wouldn't help the scum much, but it could easily be there to make the scum blend in. Is Imran a scum tracker?

Ha ha.. since we are diving into this rabbit hole. My crazy theory actually works better with scum having watchers/trackers. For a minute lets forget that Imran is very likely town, then this is how it works.

Scum have the watchers ability and they target three people every night and they know who killed other than them. Imran claims to be a tracker, and leads town on lynching people that scum would otherwise have problems taking out. The bullet proof SK was definitely a role that mafia couldn't have taken out without a lynch.

Or Fermion is a goon that didn't deliver the kill Night 1. That was my first suspicion.

Still likely, though we need to explain 2 kills. He is claiming 3 shot vig and its game over if he is not town.

I used my action on KevinH btw, someone else did as well (don't tell who you are), but you'll know that I'm a townie now.
Do we know what this action was, who was the second guy doing it?

Plus, I looked through Mandarijn's posts, and seems Mandarijn was suspecting The Warrior. The Warrior was also the last person to vote for Rhizo, the one who put the final nail in the coffin, knowing full well that it wasn't one of his scum buddies.

D3mons seems to be going with the flow and is someone who takes the least risky action possible, and sister midnight has agreed with tW on basically everything up until now without making herself stand out. iSocialism is a lurker and hasn't really done anythin to stand out either.

So, my suspects would be:

tW

Sister Midnight

Rafay

d3mon

Now if what Kevin says is true, either the scum can have watching ability or the Rafay isn't scum and is a watcher for town, in which case he should post and let us know who he watched.
