I'm getting conflicting reports. I'm reviewing this when I get home in 2 hours.

It was getting to be a bit much. Most people had alright reasons for claiming but between Imran, KevinH, Fermion, Rafay, and D3mon over half the people alive have now role claimed? Everyone except d3mon had valid reason to.

 

The suspicion around d3mon had nothing to do with his role.

 

Though the same is true of Kevin, his claim brought out information that could prove him innocent, where d3mons did not.

 

Rafay was forced to claim to provide legitamacy to Kevin's.

Its Day 3. Of course by now most role will be known. You should have played the last game where everyone was role claiming left and right and everyone had their roles known by Day 3 or so. The scum had to come up with fake roles to even survive that game.

 

This game is much better. We still dont know the roles of you, SM and iSocialism.

I wouldn't recommend trying to kill me if tW was found scum, a tracker investigation on both me and SM should be enough to find if one of us is scum or not. If neither of us performs an action in the night, we can conclude that iSoc is scum.

Scum need only 1 person to do the kill not 2. So even if you are tracked and the result is you did no action, that doesn't prove that you are not scum.

Agreed but there would be just 2 scum left and one has to do the action. If neither of the two investigated makes an action then the third must be the one who did the kill. I don't see a need to force my hand into making an action or take a action that increases the probability of town loss when there is just a simple mathematical elimination that can be done to ensure town wins.

 

Also, as I mentioned, I have a limited number of actions, so I would much rather keep the option open to use the ability of not.

Lets say Rafay's scummy behavior is not a warped playstyle but actually indication of scum who actually is not a Watcher. A scum Watcher can easily reveal his results. There is no reason to hide them. However, Rafay may be a JOAT who used his Watch action on N2. He does not want to reveal his results because he didnt watch anyone on N1 and therefore cant provide concrete evidence. So this is the only scenario that fits with a scum Rafay.

Well I asked you with an open mind why you wouldnt recommend the strategy of Fermion shooting you. You couldn't give any valid reason. So I guess you are now claiming you are either a townie who lied about the role (in that case read this) or that you had an 1-shot ability which you used up (which still does not justify you reason for lying because scum will target people with actual power roles).

 

I will now explain why the strategy you were proposing is not in the best interest of the town. You want the tracker to track you and the follower to follow either SM or iSoc. So when both these results come out negative, you say the 3rd person is confirmed scum (SM if iSoc was followed or iSoc if SM was followed). But of course this strategy is not in the best interest of the town because what if you are a scum yourself and your scum buddy is not either SM or iSoc (its Rafay). So your buddy (Rafay) does the kill while you point the finger at either SM or iSoc.
