Not on my computer, right now visiting family, so I am on a...computer only meant for the internet.

The Imperium sounds like BONES, been cruising in easy mode, thought they could get away with whatever they want because they were big, and now are fighting a superior force. Sounds like my kinda game.

 

From what I have gathered you are correct. I took a small 10 man fleet deep into GOON space the other day in hopes we would die with glory. 4 hours and we met no resistance.

Sounds alot like CN in terms of politics but obviously, with alot more graphics and not just click-click buttons.

 

 

Sounds like Karma, with GOONS being the ~ and the entire world against them, just a small difference being [insert party line] we were obviously the good guys in Karma.

First Hands-on review:

 

Hi, recieved alot of help from DF in game and on discord, we spoke at length on how shitty GOONS was in CN and is in Eve.

 

I've made my way to Pandemic Horde after getting ganked en route thrice by Goons to Pandemic Horde staging area. I was pretty excited, ended up playing up till 3 am. Pretty fkd right now in office lol. Got me some free skill books and a combat ship/frigate? too from the Corp to fight the GOONS. I'll train on that today evening and continue to bug you guys.

 

Contrary to some opinion, Eve community is really really helpful and tbh, the learning curve is mostly about knowing what is where etc and you dont need to know everything at the get go and things will come as you go through it. Not rocket science.

 

So all in all, I'll be in combat ship ready, go with the fleet and kill some GOONS. All in all, good progress for the first day in game, would'nt be possible with help from DFD. 

 

tl;dr, Highly recommended guys, the politics are more intricate that CN, you got blocs, backstabbing, dramas and alot of great stories and history, it's on the whole new level. Fighting wars requires more than just click-click refresh, buy-buy. The first 2-3 hours are the toughest in terms of 'what to do?' ,but really, there's this tutorial, that makes you do stuff and you really need to just follow instructions on the screne

That's amazing! Pandemic Horde is a bunch of really fun people who love newbros PvP is where this game is at, everything else can be learned later as well.
