MVP(Mod’s Choice)= Master Samus; I think Master Samus played amazingly for a guy who claims it was his second only mafia game. He never led the town on him and that’s why he deserves this award. He was impressive in manipulating the town that led to the ultimate mafia victory.

Player of Mafia; Master Samus/emudevelopment (shared); I think both were instrumental in the town’s defeat. Both were manipulative and deceptive. They clearly came out as pro-town and looked like de-facto town leaders. They led the lynch wagon w/o anyone uncovering their true motives.

Samus, you should be proud that you've helped make an environment where people feel safe enough to share their experiences.

Here are the relevant bits:

Samus and Imran come immediately to mind, along with Shah. They're very good analytical minds.

One can hope.

Guys - My thoughts on who to Lynch..

KevinH's role as Miller is a strange one. He's playing it right tho. mafiascum.net says most people who are Millers will roleclaim right away in order to keep the Cop from investigating them. IMO, lynching him now doesn't help us go after the more powerful roles.

Personally, I think Ali or Samus are the 2 we should consider right away. Both are very analytical. Samus is more experienced than Ali. Imran should also be considered. We need to get the analysts out so the newer players have to work at it.

I vote for Samus tonight then Ali the next night. iSocialism should do the kill as ninja.

agree Isocialism should. I would say the people most to worry about are Ali, Imran, Samus, Kevin, Robert. I am fine with Samus, not sure how well he plays it, but would be fine to lynch. Do we want to use any 1 shot abilities of the JOAT? Like gunsmith or something and see if we can find a cop. I would say it would probably be better to use some of them now, as with more people, less chance someone is going to track us doing it.

I agree experienced players should be killed. I'll go for Samus or Imran.

And what ability should I use? Should I use roleblock on Kevin or rolestop some1?

I'll give my vote to killing Samus then. He's pretty good.

Neapolitan is simply a Vanilla cop and gets results as vanilla and non vanilla. Im in favor of using role cop but on who

Then I think Samus is the consensus choice for being killed.

I think Rafay should use neopolitan. It makes sense.

Lets wait for iSoc to show up to acknowledge that he's doing the killing.

A couple quick notes from the Mod:

Even though the existence of the Miller would have indicated so, there was not a designated 'Cop' present in the game. I included both a Role Cop and Vanilla Cop however. The role cop was limited to 2-shots so that he wouldn't be completely overpowered but the Vanilla Cop was not limited. This was mostly due to the fact that this was a role madness game with only a few exceptions. The fact that Rhizo was investigated and found to be "Vanilla" on night one and that no one else returned a vanilla result before he got lynched was unfortunate for him. There were actually three people that would have returned a vanilla result on night one (Rhizo, Robert, and Canik).

Since Rhizo was the Godfather and there wasn't a 'Cop' in the game, I elected to make Rhizo completely investigation proof. At least, that was the intention. That actually turned out to work against him since no other person had come up as vanilla yet before he was lynched.

The mafia had good luck with their choice of targets. They managed to successfully kill all 7 of their targets. The mafia did make one very grave error that might have cost them the game however. After Roq mistakenly posted his night action in the "global private message" the scum should have killed him immediately that night. As soon as I received the email notification of Roq's message on my phone, I logged onto the forums as quickly as I could and deleted his post from the global private message chat. Of course the damage was already done at that point since anyone that receives PM notifications via email from the forums would have seen Roq's post anyway. I expected to see the scum jump all over that mistake and kill him that night. I was really surprised when it didn't happen. Even though no one knew of Roq's "Weak" modifier, killing him that night would have prevented him from confirming several people as town.

Well I suppose it doesn't matter since iSoc made the night 1 kill. I was going to watch samus on night 1. I was suspicious of Kevin's  claim though so watched him because I wanted to see if anybody visited him so that I could counter claim if someone tried to confirm his role later. Was kinda peeved at myself on day 2 for not watching Samus anyway, but again, if iSoc made the kill then it is irrelevant.

I thought the same, that's why I didn't investigate KevinH on the 1st night as I thought a Mafia JoaT or watcher would watch him. :P

It was a little bad luck for us when you investigated Rhizo instead of someone else. I did check on him too and got vanilla result (probably the only person I'd get a vanilla using my crappy role :P), so I was going to start questioning him...but then you appeared ;) .

Haha, yeah. But lynching Rhizo (even though it should've happened 1 day earlier) was the key to the victory as it was pretty obvious after that who all the scum were.

But I'm with you now Ali, I will be pushing for a lynch on Rafay or iSoc on D1 every time now. :P

Hey, there were more then 1 vanilla townies though...technically if you investigated a person with a backup role they would of came up that.

Also, at least ABT can read that at least I wasn't lying about what I said in this last game.  I told you Imran/you were both on the top list to be killed N1 for the very reasons I said.

My team wanted to lynched one of our own on d3, and did shortly after. We (rhiz) probably could have survive another day if it wasn't for the other two being on his wagon. I put in a lot of effort towards the end it was more of just taking gambles, even though I was outnumbered and all the info a town could ask for was there to look at.

Thanks mandi,

You know you're a good scum/mafia player when someone now wants to lynch you d1 of every game. Also I wanted to take you out way before samus or Imran.

You're a top class lurker. :P

If you guys had lynched Rhizo 1 day early it would've been a lot harder for us to backtrack and see who the scum was, because 2 were on the d3mon wagon and Finster and iSoc stayed off both wagons by voting for 2 different randoms. That was one of the main reasons it was pretty easy to find all of you as I could clear everyone on the Rhizo lynch wagon the day before and who jumped on the next day were all suspicious... So lynching him 1 day early could've gotten the scum the win I think.

It was never about whether you lied or not, it was about what would actually happen. There was a lot of talk, yet I died on N4 (due to various reasons) and because of that I just didn't agree with your reasoning that I would die with 100% certainty on N1 in that other game if you were a scum (or something like that, I don't remember it now).

Good game

Daily reminder that "lurking scums" strategy are bad and not fun

Yeah, and it's not only about lurking scums but all lurking types. Town has enough tools to deter such behavior and I think we should use those tools by lynching lurkers on D1 (which is far more better than some random lynch).

Glad to have been able to win my first mafia game, albeit mainly due to people not picking up on my slip-up.

Scums had so many targets to kill that you were forced to wait in line for your turn :P.
