June 23, 201610 yr comment_865062 Betrayal! It is the end of the Clone Wars. The ruthless Darth Sidious, publicly known as the benevolent Chancellor Palpatine, has declared himself Emperor in front of the Galactic Senate. The Old Republic has been swept away to make room for the new Galactic Empire. In the middle of this, the Jedi Order has been branded as enemies of the state. Dark times lie ahead as the shadow of the Sith looms.Across the galaxy, Jedi fall as their own former troops carry out a massive purge against them. The clone army has swept into the Temple on Coruscant and has left it under siege. What still remains of the Jedi council have gone into exile. On the planet Belderone in the Outer Rim, a small group of Jedi apprentices embark on a desperate mission for survival against a whole clone battalion in pursuit....OverviewThe ForceFor my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. -Jedi Master YodaThe Force is an energy field that binds all living things in the galaxy. Its power can be tapped by those sensitive to it.TelekinesisMove and manipulate objects through the Force. The larger and heavier the object, the more wisdom is required to succeed. Roll 1d20 and add your wisdom modifier. The larger the result, the better chance of moving an object successfully.Mind tricksThe Force can have an effect on the weak-minded. Mind tricks consciously influence a person to carry out certain actions. There are also alien species naturally immune to mind tricks, such as Toydarians and Hutts. To do this, one must roll 1d20 plus their wisdom modifier (the ability check) against another opposing character's ability check.HealingThe Force can also knit flesh and mend broken bone. Roll 1d20 and add your intelligence modifier and the result will be the amount of health healed. If the number is larger than the target character's base health, then that character's base health is fully restored.VisionsAlso known as Forcebacks, Force visions can let the character have a glimpse of the past, the present, and the future. Roll 1d20 and add your wisdom modifier. The higher the number, the larger amount of detail will be available. The 318th Attack BattalionUnder the command of Jedi Master Coleman Kcaj and Clone Commander CC-2934 "Ferro", the 318th Attack Battalion participated in the Outer Rim Sieges, the final campaign which brought about the end of the Clone Wars. While the Battle of Belderone was being fought against the retreating Separatist Droid Army, Commander Ferro and his troops received the order to execute Order 66. Master Kcaj was promptly killed after being fired upon by his own men.Clone troopersGenetically-identical and highly-trained soldiers, clone troopers are bred from the genetic template of one of the Galaxy's premier bounty hunters. Now christened as the first stormtroopers of Palpatine's new order, their loyalties have switched towards the Galactic Empire. Armed with a DC-15 blaster rifle, they are most dangerous in numbers.Individual statsArmor: 2Health: 5Strength: 3Intelligence: 3Wisdom: 3Dexterity: 2Charisma: 1DC-15 Base Damage: 1Advanced Recon Force troopersBeing lightly armored compared to their standard counterparts, ARF troopers specialize in reconnaissance and stealth. They are very proficient in using a wide range of weaponry, including the DC-15 blaster rifle, DC-15A blaster carbine, and DC-17 blaster pistol.Individual statsArmor: 5Health: 25Strength: 5Intelligence: 6Wisdom: 4Dexterity: 6Charisma: 5DC-15 Base Damage: 2DC-15A Base Damage: 1DC-17 Base Damage: 4Combat Combat is cyclical; everybody acts in turn in a regular cycle of rounds. Combat follows this sequence:1. Each combatant starts out flat-footed. Once a combatant acts, he or she is no longer flat-footed.2. Determine which characters are aware of their opponents at the start of the battle. If some but not all of the combatants are aware of their opponents, a surprise round happens before regular rounds of combat begin. The combatants who are aware of the opponents can act in the surprise round, so they roll for initiative. In initiative order (highest to lowest), combatants who started the battle aware of their opponents each take one action (either a standard action or a move action) during the surprise round. Combatants who were unaware do not get to act in the surprise round. If no one or everyone starts the battle aware, there is no surprise round.3. Combatants who have not yet rolled initiative do so. All combatants are now ready to begin their first regular round of combat.4. Combatants act in initiative order (highest to lowest).5. When everyone has had a turn, the combatant with the highest initiative acts again, and steps 4 and 5 repeat until combat ends.Ability categoriesCharacters start out with 17 ABILITY POINTS to be distributed for each category, along with a set of stock clone armor (5 armor points) and a lightsaber which deals a point of base damage.HealthHealth refers to your total hit points. Once it reaches 0, you are dying. At -10, you die.StrengthStrength measures your character’s muscle and physical power. This modifier can be applied to acts that check physical strength, such as melee attacks, climbing, swimming, and so on.IntelligenceIntelligence determines how well your character learns and reasons. This modifier can be applied to things such as languages your character knows at the beginning of the game, as well as actions such as disabling devices, appraising, crafting, searching, and so on.WisdomWisdom describes a character’s willpower, common sense, perception, and intuition. While Intelligence represents one’s ability to analyze information, Wisdom represents being in tune with and aware of one’s surroundings. This modifier can be applied to checks for spotting hidden enemies, foraging for food, listening, and so on.DexterityDexterity measures hand-eye coordination, agility, reflexes, and balance. This modifier can be applied to ranged attack rolls, along with actions such as moving silently, riding, climbing rope, and so on.CharismaCharisma measures a character’s force of personality, persuasiveness, personal magnetism, ability to lead, and physical attractiveness. This ability represents actual strength of personality, not merely how one is perceived by others in a social setting. This modifier can be applied to actions such as diplomacy, bluffing, intimidation, and handling animals. To start, fill out this character sheet, and distribute 17 ABILITY POINTS to each ability category. Your own character backstories are very much welcome. Name:Health: Strength:Intelligence:Wisdom:Dexterity:Charisma:Once all of you are done, we can start the game. Name: Kalahan du ResovōHealth: 4Strength: 2Intelligence: 4 Wisdom: 2Dexterity: 3Charisma: 2 Damn is this waaaay too low of points to dedicate. I also see you're aiming for the KOTOR set-up. Backstory: Kalahan was a pilot's son, born on the planet of Corellia in 33 BBY. Unfortunately, his mother succumbed the Idolian fever, fighting the disease for 3 years before her will abandoned her. His father received the news while flying over Coruscant, ending in his concentration breaking, and the transport ship he was flying to crash into a building, 12 passengers and Kalahan's father dying in the process. This lead to Kalahan being ostracized by society due to the social taboo and stigma associated with interacting with Kalahan carried on forward by the date of the accident; which was labelled as a planned attack on Coruscant. Around 27 BBY, Kalahan is discovered by Jedi Master Celbus Muthless, who sees Kalahan sub-consciously using the force to fight against criminals. He is taken in by the Council to be trained as a Padawan the following month, and is knighted at 19 BBY, just as the Chancellor declares himself Emperor. Report

Yeah, I tried to keep the points as a minimum so even low-level clones of the 318th would pose a threat If all of you work together it'll be much easier to deal with them. It won't just be the clones that you'll be fighting, your group may decide to hide in one of the local settlements... it wouldn't help much if they decide to put a bounty on your heads, lol Report

Do we make our own backstory? If you're interested to take the last spot, at least one point must go to each category. You are free to create your own character's back story, provided it covers the fundamentals of the scenario: • Is a Jedi (of the light side, not a neutral "gray" Jedi)• May be a Padawan (Apprentice) or a Knight That's pretty much it Report
June 23, 201610 yr comment_865102 Awesome, I'll take the last spot. I got a backstory for a Jedi (and sith, etc) I've always wanted to create my own SW character lmao. Report

June 23, 201610 yr comment_865110 Name: Kyros Za-BaneHealth: 3Strength: 1Intelligence: 4Wisdom: 2Dexterity: 2Charisma: 5 Backstory:Kyros Za-Bane was born in 53 BBY on Sullust. His father had disappeared a few days before his birth without a trace. A year after his birth, his mother, Sari, brought Kyros to Naboo under the new leadership of Palpatine, who had been elected Naboo's official recently. During 46 BBY, at age 7, Kyros was walking the streets of Naboo. News had just spread of Ars Veruna's appointment to King of Naboo and the street became a little chaotic. Unaware of his lineage and the powers he held, Kyros became worried with the growing crowd. As panic and fear with the growing crowd hit Kyros, his frustration and inability to get away from the crowd caused him to unsubconsciously use the Force to push a section of people away from him. It was at this time Kyros mother discovered he had inherited the Force from his lineage. As news spread of the incident, the Jedi in Naboo began to look for Kyros and his mother, requesting he be brought to Coruscant to learn the ways of the Jedi. His mother refused and decided it should be Kyros' decision and felt he was too young to make that choice. At age 9, Kyros learned of his family history. His lineage to the Force stretched back directly to Darth Bane and his family has kept it secret for generations to avoid the repercussions the Jedi would impose for Darth Bane's actions. Kyros decided to make it his goal to bring a new legacy to his family. He to hide his gift of the Force and became interested in the politics of Naboo. He felt being a good politican would bring a better look to his family name. He began studying and became excellent at speaking. In 39 BBY, he earned his first political job as one of the many assistants to the King himself. It wasnt until King Veruna's Death in 33 BBY, when Kyros was 20 years old, that his Force sensitively began to become too much for him. He couldn't hide it nor control it anymore. He left for Coruscant in hope that the Jedi council would agree to train him, 13 years after their initial offer. It was at this point he decided if he couldn't bring new meaning to his name through politics, he would try to make people view the name Bane positively through becoming a Jedi. The Council took his offer and awaited for a Jedi Knight to take Kyros as their Padawan. when I can figure out the time frame the RP is in a little better. Report
June 23, 201610 yr Author comment_865113 Name: Kyros Za-BaneHealth: 3Strength: 1Intelligence: 4Wisdom: 2Dexterity: 2Charisma: 5Backstory:Kyros Za-Bane, a young adult human still learning to control the Force, was born in a small village on Sullust. Coming from a dark family history, Kyros' mother, Sari, made it her goal to prevent her son from following his family's bloodline. Shortly after Kyros was born, his father disappeared a few nights afterwards with no note left, and never to be heard from again.Growing up, Kyros discovered his family blood was direct descendants from Darth Bane. His family had, for centuries, remained hidden and tried to keep their history a secret from even their closest friends out of fear of being hunted down by Jedi out of fear, or the Sith to join their cause.Kyros moved to Hoth a year after birth, and grew up with Rebel influenced. After discovering his family history, he made it his duty to change his family legacy. Keeping his gift of the Force hidden, he tried to live life as a normal member of society. Growing up effected by the Civil War, he eventually joined the Rebellion as an Aircraft Mechanic when he reached the apporpriate age. His goal of changing his family history from one of darkness, evil, and hiding was beginning to take its first steps. It wasn't until one of the aircrafts Kyros was fixing exploded, causing him to Force push those around him away from the explosion, that people discovered he had the Force. One of the people he saved, a child named Korto Vos who was crawling around the shop, was the son of Jedi Master Quinlan Vos.Quinlan, a survivor of Order 66, took Kyros under his wing to teach him the way of the Force. Kyros, having tried to ignore his gift of the Force to live a normal life, was far behind the curve on where his powers should be. He was, however, an excellent speaker and highly intelligent. -acceptable background?- while writing it I lost track of the time frame so it mentions the Civil War and Order 66 at different time frames, I'll fix that when I can figure out the time frame the RP is in a little better.I'd accept the name and stats for now, but the current time frame is during Order 66 (The scenario is still technically within the Clone Wars era) Report

After losing contact with Master Kcaj, the clones in your gunship drew their blasters on your group. Padawan Du Resovō bravely held his own but was cut down in the fight. In the ensuing aftermath, the transport crash-landed. The squad of clones that were originally tasked to escort your group either lay in pieces or died in the transport's burning remains. We also need to lose our Jedi garb ASAP, maybe we can steal some clothes to better blend in.We should strip Resovo of any equipment we can conceal (lightsaber mainly. We don't want the enemies getting it and it may prove useful for us.) If we're in a rundown spaceport, I doubt we are around law abiding company that would care for the Empire. We should go into the town, strip whatever we can from the dead clones (metal, etc.) Sell it, buy some supplies and then go into an abandoned building. The reason we should hide afterwards is clones are surely going to come investigate the area. A reason we should leave Resovo in the rubble of the crash. Clones may only think 1 Jedi was aboard and not look much further. Edit: I pick up Resovo's light saber and stick it on an empty pouch in my belt. Report
July 1, 201610 yr Author comment_866683 This will be a group decision, I'll consider the action everyone agrees on EDIT: BTW, if you'd like to do an individual action (say, pick up something, investigate, observe, etc.) just say it in the first person PoV.
