As the inaugural winner of the Steel Bowl I would like to take this opportunity and use my platform to discuss a topic that is near and dear to me and deserves the appropriate attention of all.


Since the dawn of time creatures have walked this earth. These creatures were magnificent. Some had long legs, some had auburn hair, some spit fire, some had rather large firm chests, and still others had a little bit of a temper.

But the one thing that all of these creatures had in common was their beauty. One glance at these beings and any man would be in awe of their majesty. Mouths would drop open and gazes would be fixed. It was a glorious time.

Unfortunately, these creatures have now largely gone extinct. No more are they seen in these parts with any regularity and we are far worse off because of it.

It's time that we wake up and perk up as we bring these beautiful creatures back.

I am, of course, referring to the Foxy Ladies of Foxtrot. We want them and we need them to come back.

I have long sought out these wonderful beings and with a little bit of charm and by virtue of my title as Steel Bowl Champion, I have convinced them to make their return to this world.

My #1 pick: Julio Jones is questionable with a wrist injury.

My #2 pick: Tyreek Hill is out with a collarbone injury (that's OK because I traded him for JuJu Smith-Schuster but he is questionable with a toe injury).

My #3 pick: Antonio Brown was out because he got released by the Raiders.  He's back next week with the Patriots.

My #4 pick: Melvin Gordon III is out with a contract dispute.

My #5 pick: Andrew Luck is out because he retired after the draft.

 

Hard to believe I got a medal for the best draft ...

I had a lot of fun hosting this season. Hopefully you guys did too!! Sad that Karachi again fell apart at the end of the season and especially the playoffs. 

 

brewersalliance, this was their 2nd final loss!!! Something's fishy here. You guys definitely don't want a 'choking hazard' label on your team do you?

 

Auto draft were best team throughout. They deserved it.

 

I'm happy that Thors didn't do a Threepeat. Would've been bad for fans and ratings. Though I didn't expect them to crash out 1st round.

 

Lahore had a 2nd consecutive top 3 finish.

 

I'll probably remove Texas and Smallballs next season. The former is non-IRON and the latter is inactive.

 

This is the 1st time Yahoo has let me run the league the way I wanted it. Most likely no changes next season?

 

Hopefully we'll have more than 10 teams next season?
