MVP(Mod’s Choice)= Master Samus; I think Master Samus played amazingly for a guy who claims it was his second only mafia game. He never led the town on him and that’s why he deserves this award. He was impressive in manipulating the town that led to the ultimate mafia victory.
Player of Mafia; Master Samus/emudevelopment (shared); I think both were instrumental in the town’s defeat. Both were manipulative and deceptive. They clearly came out as pro-town and looked like de-facto town leaders. They led the lynch wagon w/o anyone uncovering their true motives.
Samus, you should be proud that you've helped make an environment where people feel safe enough to share their experiences.

My single largest reason for owning firearms is for personal protection. I also enjoy firearms for their historical significance (I'm a huge history buff) and to a lesser extent investment purposes. Unless you buy low end firearms or never clean/oil your firearms (letting them rust), most firearms don't really lose value. The usual market trend is that they either retain very close to their original value, or slowly increase in value over time. But again that only really applies to well made firearms that have been cared for.
The funniest gun collection story I've been told, was by a friend who was in the Army. He was stationed in Colorado at the time and he told me this one radio station interviewed 'Doomsday Prepper' kind of people. Except that these people they interviewed weren't so much preppers, they were downright bonkers. So this one couple was interviewed and they were talking about how they were prepared for the upcoming zombie apocalypse. They said stuff like we have guns hidden strategically all over the house, we have AR-15s mounted on the walls of our kid's nursery room, we have gas masks/hazmat gear, and were all ready to fight off the zombie horde at a moments notice. They finished their story with the couple saying 'Its going to happen anyday now!!! The zombies will be coming soon!!!'

Many reasons. I'm not the type that defaults to that lame hunting excuse... I eat from grocery stores and restaurants, and meat creates glorious meals. I haven't been hunting in decades, but it would be so cool to start fishing again.
My number one reason would be from my old friend Thomas Jefferson...
"The Tree of Liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants"
I'm a patriot. I know a lot of patriots. There are many patriots that I don't know, but all of us know who the tyrants are, and we see them. I'm amazed that something hasn't happened yet. We are a very patient people.
I also know a few Police... many of them are counted as the patriots I know. I have it on good authority that the Police cannot protect my family. That is my job, and I don't want to be that guy that keeps saying to himself, "If I only had a gun".
An unarmed population are sheep waiting to be slaughtered. The highest law of the land, the US Constitution, says I can own guns, and the person that discovers I know how to use them will be the one that tries to take them from me.
The patriots are hard at work, relentlessly... every day... to keep from having to turn to our guns. Our founding fathers gave us the gift of owning guns for whatever good reason we can possibly come up with. They also gave us the gift of not having to explain them.

Poor kid, deathmerchent. Plus, it is illegal last I checked to allw a minor unsupervised access to firearms?

Almost impossible to buy a gun in my country without paying humongous amount of fees, lengthy bureaucratic red tape and getting the evil eye of the law enforcers in my direction as to "why is he buying a gun?"
But i feel safer knowing that the guy next door to me also doesnt have a gun. So its interesting seeing that the majority of the people posting here citing "protection" as a reason. seems like a vicious cycle.

Protection. Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. And I use my hunting rifle to...hunt.
But i feel safer knowing that the guy next door to me also doesnt have a gun.
Well if that is what makes you feel better, than whatever floats your boat. But I have to point out this is where the naivety of control gun comes into play. Just because you live in a country with strict gun laws, doesn't mean people actually choose to follow them. Its just makes it a tiny bit more inconvenient for criminals to acquire firearms, while at the same time severely depriving the law abiding citizen from seeking adequate protection.
For me, I live in a nice, quiet suburban neighborhood. The majority of my neighbors are very friendly and seem like genially caring individuals. Found out 2 years ago that my neighbor several houses down does cocaine, and the police show up to his house quite often for domestic issues. I've met him, his wife, and his three kids at a party my next door neighbor was hosting. Quite honestly they were some of the nicest, friendliest people I met in years, and never gave a single indication the father was heavily into drugs and spent them majority of his time (literally put his home based business on hold for about 6 months so he could do cocaine all night and then sleep during the day) with other drug users. I never would have known any of it unless a neighbor chose to disclose that information.
You don't know if the person living next to you is a pedophile yet to be convicted. You don't know if the person living next to you is a drug dealer yet to be convicted. You don't know if the person living next to you is an abuser yet to be convicted. You don't know if the person living next to you is a robber yet to be convicted. You don't know if the person living next to you has a box of explosives in their basement yet to be convicted. You don't know if the person living next to you is a murderer yet to be convicted.
Choose to take it however you want, but hearing the government tell me, "Firearms are illegal/highly restricted, so therefore no criminals have them". Wouldn't make me believe that devious people don't have them.

Didn't want this thread to become one of those ones.. But to reply to you, you're basically saying you always have to have a "ready" mind as you never know what danger is around the corner from you.

I primarily bought it for shooting. It is fun shooting the things but then bullets got expensive so now I own because I am too lazy to sell. Also its a big enough caliber to shoot down one of those store bought drones so that could be fun.

What caliber is it? Sounds like you're describing a shotgun you could use theoretically for shooting drones.

Mine is a chinese carbine which cost around 190. Cleaning it is nearly impossible since they buried them in barrels with a preserving agent.
