James Gunn is a well known Hollywood Trump hater. Marvel is full of them, including but not limited to, Joss Whedon, Mark Ruffalo, and Don Cheadle. It used to be these people could have their personal political beliefs and still be able to create great entertainment, that I am willing to lay down my hard earned cash to see. Social media has gone off the rails, and if you're stupid enough to post crap online that is sure to enrage over half the population, I guess you deserve to be banished from the ranks of the employed... but I truly believe we have to stop this relentless desire to destroy lives because someone once said something stupid. This is just getting worse.
Disney fires the writer and director of one of the best Marvel franchises, slaps him in the face, ruins his career, and then says they will still use his script for the 3rd movie. These social media jerks need to get smarter, and begin to understand that all jokes are not in good taste. Rooker says he's out, but they killed him off anyway. Bautista said he will do only what he is contractually obligated to do. Chris Pratt is a Christian, and probably will do what he feels is best for his career. He'll go it alone if he thinks it's good for him for sure. This 3rd movie will be made, but no matter how good or bad it does, I believe it will be the last stand alone GOTG... unless they replace Gunn with someone that proves to be better for everyone... which is up in the air. I don't believe in braking something that works.
