Nut job mails bombs to Democrats

Uh huh. So a pair of judges that have remained pretty much entirely neutral on the topic of trump campaign affiliation with the russians and ceratinyl have no political influence or say on the investigation at all....and one of whom was on trump's short list of SCOTUS nominations.

So what have they done? Can you name one thing that doesn't use fox news as a source. Because the only thing they have in common is that they're to the left of fox new's ideology (and never mind that Amy Coney Barrett is pretty firmly center right politically with a nice base of support from the evangelical wackwing) and women.

As a general remark, I would advise the far left to go lighter on flinging words like "nazis" or "racists" around. It's ridiculous overuse is devaluing the words and not winning you any supporters. If you constantly call someone a nazi, he may just say "fuck you then" and become one. Something to consider.

PS: I don't like Steve Bannon and disagree with pretty much everything he ever said. Carry on.

Yea no. The republican party *literally* has neonazis in office right now ansd sevrael more running for office. Steve King is a right wing, white nationalist anti semitic holocaust denier. Steve Bannon  is a right wing, white nationalist, anti semite. Much of the "alt right" leadership are neo nazis. The unite the right rally for example was organized by Jason Kessler who littrealty advertises himself as a neo nazi. The Proud Boys, which certain chunks of media have spent so much breath defending are a right wing violent neo nazi gang. Corey Stewart, Paul Nehlen,Arthur Jones are all running for election under the Republican ticket and all of them are avowed nationalists and white supremacist. Nazis the lot of them.

The american right has one hell of a nazi problem right now, and the republican party is utterly unwilling to confront it. Regardless of it's malice or incompetence Trump can't get his shit together enough to disavow support from the fucking KKK. He can't get his shit together enough that when fuckwits start chanting neo nazi slogans at his rallies, he just smiles and nods, and when you're in his position that's tantamount to encouraging it. A synagogue got shot up by a neo nazi and  the republican party can't manage to explicitly and unambiguously condemn neo nazis in the wake of that. With the amount of far right terrorism on going (jfc there were three attacks *this week*), that's utterly unacceptable. and that's without touching on shit like fox news cheerfully spreading conspiracy theories  about them being false flag operations.

So yea no, the criticism is well earned, and the label deserved. If any R supporter doesn't like that, start getting your party to clean up the trash and stop being the neo nazi party of choice. Because again, freaking cyber nations could all come together to go stomp nazis out of the game, and there's no freaking universe in which the bunch of quasi fascist, totalitarian , hyper militaristic dumbfucks that this game consists of should be more effective at dealing with nazis then the freaking Republican party

Seems we broke RH, I do recall he had better typing/spelling them me >_>

About that once a month, make that weekly: I guess some people in Kentucky can be happy that right wing lone wolfs are terrible in time management.

Also, you know you went of the deep-end as Republicans when you allow someone on your ticket who openly calls himself a nazi, as in a nationalist socialist. And here I thought that used to be a red flag (pun intended) for the Republicans...

Yea no.

Are you okay RH? The last one that tilted this far on the snowflake meter was Ice Wolf... and we never saw him again. Brexit put him on the edge, and Trump getting elected kicked him right over. I would hate to see that happen to you. Iowa keeps electing Steve King and Vermont keeps electing Bernie Sanders. That means we must continue listening to what they have to say. Do you own a gun? Sounds like you're about ready to go shoot up a Republican baseball team. I would advise against it.

if you think pointing out that the republican party literally has neo nazis in office and running for office under their banner is "snowflakey" and  that the republican party shouldn't be criticized for shit like 20 years of support of steve king, you're off your rocker. There is no equating him to bernie sanders. Bernie sanders is a person who's politics you dislike, Steve King  is a white supremacist piece of shit who has spoken out on multiple occasions to defend the third reich. Bernie sanders has spoken in favour of higher taxes. Steve King has spoken out in favour of genocide.I've family who survived the nazi camps. I've family who died fighting the nazis  and i'd prefer you no defend someone who literally denies that the nazis conducted the systematic murder of millions of people  thank you very much. There is no "both sides". Don't fucking even make that comparison.

The republicans could have ran him out of the party any time in the last 20 years. It's not like they haven't realized what a PoS he is. he doesn't win because "iowa keeps electing him" he wins because he's run in very safe republican seats, the republican party has declined him any real challenge in the primaries, they've kept throwing the party resources behind him and they've gone out of their way to protect him from the consequences.

Seriously Lys, you're literally defending an avowed white supremacist, nazi party apologist, genocide denier and neo nazi icon. The hell is wrong with you.

Oh go CENSORED your lying self lys. You're So far up your own CENSORED you can't even say "nazi bad" because doing so would mean you couldn't "own the libs" or whatever.

Steve king is a neo nazi. He's said it. There's video of him denying the holocaust. After he did that a  Holocaust memorial group paid for him to take a trip to Auschwitz, and while he was there he's on CENSORED camera denying the holocaust *after being to Auschwitz*. While he was in europe on that trip, he took some time to show up to an austrian nazi party gathering, one that was literally founded by a member of the SS, and took his time to talk to them about the decline of western civilization to complain about the decline of western civilization. The city of toronto had Faith Goldy, running for mayor recently. She's a public and avowed neo nazi  and despite the fact that she was running for a position in a city in an entirely different country Steve king felt the need to endorse the sack of CENSORED. THIS IS CENSORED HE'S DONE IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS. Theres two decades of him pulling this CENSORED.

How CENSORED up are you  that you need to defend that. Like literally what is so wrong in your head that you'll jump to the defense of a avowed white supremacist, someone who's gone on record to defend one of the worst regime that half a million americans gave their lives stop, someone who's repeatedly denied that the holocaust occured just because he has an R next to his name.

UnCENSORED your CENSORED.

Excessive profanity in a publicly viewed Forum section

You know Rand0m her0, for someone I hold as having a high intellectual capacity, you sure can't seem to break your vice of swearing like a raging gamer. I warned you what would happen if you did this again on non private forum section.

Someone defending a littreal neo nazi deserves profanity. If you have a problem with that but not with lys conduct in this thread I would recommend reviewing your priorities. If you take offense to my language with dealing with someone defending a holocaust denier, I would recommend reviewing your priorities. Defense of nazi ideology and support of neo nazis and other similar shite has been more than enough to see people not only removed from this alliance, but seen the alliance go to significant lengths to remove them from the game permanently.

I have members of my family who survived those camps. More didn't. I will not extend the benefit of civilly to someone defending a holocaust denier, especially not someone who insults me for being opposed to it. If you find that more offensive than Lys's comments, if you think my lack of civility is more of an embasrement for the alliance than  Lys's public support of an avowed white supremacist and a holocaust denier, I have nothing to say to you.

RH, I despise and pity white supremacists as much as you do. I personally know some good people who assisted NY State Police, in pulling security to protect a group of individuals from being harassed by the Proud Boys.

Its a careful line saying someone deserves to be attacked/harassed. Because at the end of the day, that makes us no better than them. Civility and finding common ground is what is finally going to pull this country back together. Not Conservatives harassing Liberals, and Liberals harassing Conservatives. Coming back from the extreme fringes to middle America is what is needed.

I may not get the opportunity to read every post in every thread. But I draw the line at needless profanity and open racism. I've seen some stuff that comes close, but I can't recall viewing a recent post Lysistrata made that would qualify as violating one or both of those principles. Would you be willing to tell me what post was made where he made racist comments?

I still respect you and your thoughts, just please tone down the language a bit in the future.

Wow... that's a lot of red. I never "defended" Steve King. I never "defended" Bernie Sanders. I merely said that they are elected officials from their states. They have their votes on issues that I can either agree with or not, but they are not my elected officials, therefore it is not in my power to support someone else. I know who he is, and I know how he votes... but I have no idea how he feels about any of this you accuse him of. Go campaign for his opponent instead of getting angry at me. I do know he is firmly against illegal immigration... and so am I, so I have no beef with him on that.

Now, if you want to talk about Dean Heller, Jacky Rosen, or Dina Titus, I have everything to do with them... and the last time I checked it's not illegal to be a bigot, a Communist, a racist, a Socialist, a homophobe, or a holocaust denier. We can disagree, but no one will land in prison for it. That Constitution is a problem for Progressives am I right? It's okay, we have Brett Kavanaugh there to make sure it stays where it is. Weed is legal now in most states, and I hear that it calms the aggressiveness out of people. Just a thought.

Only voicing opinions that you know will rub the wrong way with "liberals" is petty, you aren't even stating you don't care, no you just don't want to answer cause you know it will rub the wrong way.

petty...

wow. this escalated quickly. calling trump a nazi is as idiotic as calling obama a soviet, end of story

Regardless of trump's personal beliefs he's perfectly cheerful to pander to them (bit of a tip, the word globalist entered the political lexicon as a result of neo nazi groups. As in "globalist cabal of jewry".). He's steadfastly refused to denounce the current rise of neo nazi violence, he's refused to denounce the multiple endorsements by white nationalist and neo nazis groups including littrealy the KKK, and he's not had a shortage of white nationalists and adjacent people on his election team and as advisors in his time in office.

There's been almost one act of neo nazi or white supremacist terrorism a month for the last year. There's been two such terrorist attacks in the USA this week alone. Every US intelligence and defense organization is of opinion that the single greatest threat of domestic terrorism is from far right groups. The FBI has spent the last decade warning of neo nazi groups infiltrating law enforcement organizations. And all Trump has done is to keep offering them seat at the table. The closest comparison to his actions are various middle eastern governments that could give a shit about terrorist causes  and will stand up to say "terrorist bad" and then 5 minutes later discuss funding for the political wing of a terrorist groups.

That is very much an objective failing on his part, and if you think it isn't I'd care to see you actually defend it instead of hand waving it away.

As for the rest of the republican party, i'd be very curious to see you defend things such as the last 20 years of support for guys like steve king. Look at what he's said, look at what he does, look as his history and come up with a single good reason for the GOPs support of him and all the various favours and positions he's been granted in his tenure.

Congrats, not only are you defending a white supremacist, you're doing so blindly. The fact he has an R next to his name on the TV is enough for you. You'd rather blindly insult me than taking any amount of time at all to look into what he's said and done over the last 6 months (never mind the last 20 years). You'd rahter defend a nazi than even consider the idea that the republican party isn't universally perfect or that the party infrastructure has spent significant resources on enabling someone like him.

And you've got the cheek to call someone a snowflake.

look as his history and come up with a single good reason for the GOPs support of him

Lower Federal taxes, against Obamacare, pro deregulation, protects the Constitution, fights voter fraud, pro law enforcement, against illegal immigration... there's 7 big ones right off the top of my head. I would vote for him just for that. Sorry if that rubs you the wrong way.

Fine, holocaust denial, white supremacism and and support of neo nazis isn't a deal breaker for you.

There's not even a response to be given to that quite frankly. You're happy to support a neo nazi just because he has an R next to his name and mouths the right words. Thanks for being an example Lys.

Fine, holocaust denial, white supremacism and and support of neo nazis isn't a deal breaker for you.

If I lived in his Iowa district, and he supported those 7 things listed, I would still vote for him if he likes mayonnaise, hates cats, changes the TV channel when he sees something that disgusts him, drives a Japanese car, sends his kids to private school, chants "Lock her up", takes donations from the Koch brothers, or really likes it when his wife spanks him. Supporting Steve King is far better than supporting anyone involved with the Democrat party.

Let me know when he does something illegal.

Seriously brewers, go spend five minutes looking up steve king. He's got 20 years of littreal white supremist bullshit. Over the last couple weeks his bullshit has gotten sufficient egregious that Steve Stivers has (as of literally today) called him on it.

Drop the party lulz bullshit and actually bother to look. Lys is *literally* defending and supporting a neo nazi, a white supremacist and an anti semite. That is not hyperbole. The claim is trivially verifiable. There is nothing funny here.

RandomHero, I just want to to have a little chat.

We had a little disagreement a while back.  That's okay.  You called me a prick and asked where my wheaties were.  I gave up, because frankly, I had better things to do.

Like spend time with my boyfriend.

That aside.

Before I continue, I should advise everyone I'm high as a kite right now.  I put my back out the other day at work, and I'm on some pretty heavy duty pain killers.  So if I stop making sense and start rambling, you know the reason.  Damn butterflies, get the hell off my screen!

First off, stop with the literal, literally every other statement.  It doesn't make you sound smart, it makes you sound like a dumbass.

Secondly, just stop arguing with these Trump suckers.  They aren't going to see reason, no matter how rational your argument is.  You are arguing with belief.  Nothing you say will change their opinion.  You could reasonably draw a conclusion that I am sitting behind a computer typing this.  I could say no, I believe that I'm standing on my head, spitting nickels and shooing butterflies off my screen.  That's what I believe, then that is what I believe.  Nothing you could say will convince me either wise.  Personally, I gave up arguing with Lys over the Orange Baboon's decision that transgender persons shouldn't be able to serve in the military.

Thirdly, stop painting your targets with so broad a brush.  Stop with the name calling.  You aren't contributing anything by referring to Republicans as "The Loser Party", or calling them "neo-nazis".  Not all Republicans are that way.  You're just contributing to the problem.  If you follow American politics in the creditable and established media, then you know that there is outright civil war in the Republican Party.  There has been some discussion of the moderate Republics, disgusted with what their party has become, splitting away and forming their own.

All that being said, I wanted to get back to the very valid question you asked, "Why does the GOP support someone like Steve King?, and in your words "literal neo-nazis "

The answer to that is easy, very easy.  You must remember what Joey Smallwood said about the two jobs that politicians have; "to get elected, and stay elected."

You must also remember what Rex Murphey (I know you know who that is), said around the time that Trump was elected as President.   "How can democracy in America survive, when you require that amount of money to gain public office?"

Lets be frank here, we elected 308 Members of Parliament for less money than Hillary Clinton spent on her failed bid for the Presidency.

It all comes down to money to protect their (Member's of Congress), very privileged and powerful positions.  The Republican members of Congress who are moderates are very well aware that if they don't tow the party line, they will face a very well funded opponent in their primaries.  Don't get me wrong, the Democrats are no better.  They are all just looking out for their own best interests.  Which is to get in office and to stay in office.
