It's gonna be Mr. Toads Wild Ride next year with the House switching into investigations of everything Trump, and the Senate taking center seat into investigations of the plot to frame Trump. It's been a carbon copy so far... Obama winning in 2008 and losing the House in 2010... we'll see if you guys can take the Senate, but I don't know, it's a high bar.

Well atleast they stopped the Benghazi hearings after a couple of dozen, clearly we can still have a few more Comey ones...
Well at least Comey didn't cause anyone to die... yet, as far as we know.
I think I heared someone died recently, it involved a bone saw, much bark but no bite has been given to it. Heck the world is a vicious place, didn't you hear? >_>
Also seriously, what could possibly be discussed that should not be made public that the house judiciary committee can't request to be briefed on? If the question can't be answered in public, then Congress can't release the answers given anyways. Which means they could simply request to be briefed on those topics. Likey doesn't even need Comey.'s involvement. And if the answer can be released to the public, then what benefit is gained by Congress selectively releasing parts of the answer.
Ask Nunes, he likes to only be told stuff, reading is hard probably. Haven't we someone else thats like that?

Yes. If you're gonna piss off a King it's best not to walk into their house. It's not our fight.

Your reply flies into the face of past and current US philosophy, mantra, ethics and Constitution. Does this mean you won't mind if any of these get killed?
Does this also mean you wouldn't mind non-citizens being killed on orders of POTUS when said person displeased POTUS?

Khashoggi was a legal resident, which means he was given permission to hide in the USA. He didn't hide very well, and it's not our fight. He chose to leave... he chose to walk into a Saudi consulate in Istanbul... he is subject to Saudi law when in Saudi territory. It appears to have been carried out. Once again, it's not our fight.
POTUS is bound to the laws of the USA, so your accusation is meritless.

And we have a non-answer...
Heck, it is even trying to insinuate that the killing was both justified AND legal? I guess the couple perpetrators the Saudi's caught (after Turkey was so galant in pointing them out) and are being put to trial with capital punishment in mind is clearly miscarriage of justice no?
I get it that you personally, and Trump(ers) at large, are fed up with going around the world galavanting about your superiority, but must I remind you who definatly likes to toot that horn? They be having them elephants on themselfes...

Oh I'm sorry... I have to remember you're one of those European Globalist Socialists that believe a crime committed anywhere is a crime committed against the human race. If you're so concerned about Khashoggi you need to get your band together and take it to some international court... what is it? the Hague? the Helsinki? the UN? You know what I mean, one of those groups of self aggrandizing hall monitors that think they're important. Yeah... do that.
I don't care about Khashoggi, I don't care about his mission, I don't care what he did, who he did it to, and I don't care about how he ended. I care about the economy, and our $3.00 a gallon gas... while Paris is rioting because their gas is $7.00!

Well "fun" fact, you can lodge a complaint about war crimes in Belgium itself aswell, and while the law has been devolved to primary involve actual belgian citizens, it is basically a 3rd The Hague.
"self aggrandizing hall monitors that think they're important" => You speaking about US foreign policy again? >_>
Yes you should care, your POTUS has issued a notice that as long as a regime pays well (usually to himself) he won't mind them killing people protected by the US Constitution. To put it in perspective, you thus wouldn't have minded your current FLOTUS getting killed in her Slovenian embassy in her first year of marriage to Trump.
Aaaaah yes, "the economy", I heared that it is going wonderfull in the US, lets ignore that levying "interest rates" on raw materials is a smart idea or that nearly all your soybean crop is rotting. Ow and you heared about Paris? Thought you did't care about stuff outside the USA, should I be impressed?

Comey is gonna keep going ya no, and the subpoena will get dropped.
James Comey will be showing up for his subpoena tomorrow. He will testify in a closed setting. He will be questioned extensively by Trey Gowdy and John Ratcliffe. He has already lied to Congress, so we will see just how much he wants to double down. He can't hide from it anymore.
Loretta Lynch will be next.

The session is "closed" but he's allowed to release the transcript. Which means the details are public.
All it means that everything gets released a day later instead of the day of. ie, they gave him a public session for all practical purposes but is refusing to allow it to be explicitly public in order to not look like they folded like a house of cards.
Because, again, this is political grandstanding on part of the GOP.

Wrong. Comey wanted it public so he would only face 5 minutes of questions from alternating Congressmen, drag out his answers, and not answer most of them by saying "I can't talk about Classified information in a public setting". In a closed setting he's gonna get hammered by experienced prosecutors about everything he's lied about for the past 3 years, he has nowhere to hide, and no one to cover his ass or save him. It's never been an issue about transcripts, leaks, or public hearings... it's all been about procedure.
His tantrum in court to quash the subpoena was never going to work, and he knew it. He can't refuse a Congressional subpoena, and he can't dictate how it's done. He can only show up and answer questions, or show up and take the 5th. After tomorrow, expect Congress to send a recommendation to the DOJ for criminal charges against James Comey.

The trackrecord on "withstanding" long hearing sessions is kinda in favour of Dems...
And to be fair, not many of Meuller's current and possible future targets can be found to be lying to Congress, seeing as no Reps actually subpoenad them to come and speak. Got a feeling that will change come januari. How many of core transition staff for Trump have pleaded guilty thusfar?

Things must get twisted between here and Belgium. What Congress has been doing and what Mueller is doing are two different things. Everything in the House will definitely change come January. Democrats take control of the House of Representatives and the focus will change from corruption of the Obama Administration to Donald Trump's tax returns, his business, and his family... nothing will have anything to do with getting to the truth... their intention will only be to damage Trump any way they can.
You seem to believe that pleading guilty to unrelated criminal activity from many years ago, as in the Manafort case, or testimony given being twisted into deception to the FBI, as in the Flynn case, or saying what they want you to say in order to avoid maximum criminal prosecution for a shady taxi business, as in the Cohen case... this somehow makes Trump guilty of collusion with Russia? It does not. I have seen nothing... nada... zip... zero evidence.
House Republicans are finishing their work before January... that is all. The real story will be told when the internal investigation from the Inspector General is completed. If he doesn't deal with it, then Trump will declassify everything and the press will have to do the heavy lifting. The end result will be the same. The truth will come out. That's all I want.

*Insert Jack Nicholson as colonel meme*
Either side is investigating the others side's massive conspiracy, funny part is that neither is finding much ado apart from 1 predominatly republican fielded team investigating a republican in name only.
Perhaps nothing earth shattering will ever be found, but your ENTIRE political body is playing with its own moral code you'd start to wonder who even still considers them to be "working for the best interests of the nation"...

The entire Obama Administration believed it was "working for the best interests of the nation", and it was their responsibility to ensure Hillary Clinton became the next President and not that evil Capitalist, Donald Trump. There is a mountain of evidence, and a graveyard of destroyed careers that already prove this to be true. Anyone that does not know this yet, continues to merely lie to themselves.
