While people can enter the US legally and lots do and then stay after their visit expired. They still need some type of ID/passport etc... Documents, this allow us to filter the people coming through. While a wall can't stop them all. Pushing for heavy security at the crossings only eliminate the ones with the intention to stay in the US with an ID. A strong entrance means nothing if the walls around them our open for business. A wall isn't in my top five or maybe even ten things to do to stop it. Though a wall will help and when we're talking about the government it's actually not the wasteful as they can be.

Oh right because no one ever enters the US for vacation or for student visas, or for work visas.

Those are all legal entries. They become illegal when they do not leave when their visa expires. The strangest problem here is when their visa expires we have to hunt them down and deport them, and then you guys call us all kinds of names for enforcing the law.

Again, no illegals are allowed through a port of entry.

In any case it looks like Schultz announced he wont be running so our main topic is now mute.

It wouldn't surprise me, but this would be pretty big news, and I have seen nothing of the sort. The last thing I saw about this was he's polling at about 17%, which is very strong for this early. Do you have a secret scoop that no one wants to talk about yet? If not... you're spreading fake news. Link your source.

I'm not too into the buy American only. I'm more for saving money without cutting corners. The fact is some countries can produce certain foods better than us, and vi versa.

That is very true. Just because it says 'Made in the USA' shouldn't be an indication of high quality.

Within the US Firearms Industry, American made Aks are almost all complete trash, while AKs built from imported parts kits are traditionally much better quality. But why is that you say? Well America is land of the CNC machine, but AKs are riveted and modern ones are stamped steel. 2 Forms of manufacture that don't really exist within the US anymore. So for the American companies to compete with inexpensive imports, they sacrifice quality for to achieve that comparable price point.

According to this CNN article he is still planning on running. I wonder if he is testing the waters by saying he was only considering and now changing his stance again, I'll see if I can find the article but admittedly I only glanced at it and figured it fit since he hadnt seemed serious beforehand.

Perhaps it was an article outlining that his own internal study found that him running would improve the Rep/Trump win chance

Hell, I could poll better than the democrats who are running so far

He's doing this to prevent a Democrat from winning. The Democrat that wins the nomination will be a far left Socialist. A far left Socialist will push for the AOC "New Green Deal"... which will utterly fail, but enough of it could squeak through to do significant damage to the ultra wealthy members of our nation... which everything pretty much depends on.

If Howard Schultz runs, and I believe he will, he will be doing it to either be President, or to reelect Donald Trump. He's okay either way.
