That is a stretch. Almost everything I mentioned is funded by tax dollars and not privately owned (Unions aren't funded by tax dollars but I believe we both agree those are socialist). Probably a stretch there but the military is funded by the public and is not a PMC. Would you care to point out a few? I imagine social security would be one of them. From an economic aspect a lot of programs are Socialist. There can be an argument said that social programs are not Socialism. That said almost everything I listed has been complained about and called Socialist by Republican members of Government and/or pundits. Where did I mention Democracy? To what end?

There seems to be a misconception on what socialism actually is. For example the interstate system is socialism. Other examples Unions Social security Medicare Department of Agriculture Amber Alerts Amtrak Fire departments Public parks and museums National Parks Public libraries NPR/PBS Police departments The Military USPS and the list goes on and on and on. The problem with socialism is you have no fucking idea what you are arguing. My point is that socialism has been a dog whistle to scare people from doing things that would benefit themselves.

The procedure for keeping files is they return everything and request what they would like to be sent back. Trump did not return anything, did not make any official requests, and kept documents that wouldn't be used in his presidential library such as nuclear documents. If Biden did anything illegal he should suffer any penalties that comes with breaking the law, however getting people fired isn't against any law I know of. However withholding money to get a foreign power to get dirt on a political opponent is.

What treasonous action did Trump do? The way things have been going, the word "traitor" doesn't mean anything anymore. DoJ standing policy was to not prosecute sitting presidents. There are quite a few claims that might end up getting him including tax fraud. Odds are we will see him go down for the classified documents that he illegally kept. He was impeached for Obstruction of Congress and Abuse of power (by denying money approved for Ukraine to them unless they did him a favor first). I agree. Twitter could have done whatever they wanted on their platform, but they still have an obligation to be honest. They lied about it, and lied about it again, lied about it to Congress, and then continued to lie about it until Elon Musk paid 44 billion dollars for the truth. To be fair we knew they were doing it. There were a ton of leaked memos about shenanigans. As for Musk the only theory I believe with the reason why he bought it was to try and get back at all the people who bullied him.

I believe you're mixing things up. "The Twitter Files" are exposing how Twitter filtered their content and lied to Congress about it. Hunter Biden's laptop has been in the hands of the FBI for years and has a treasure trove of evidence about how Joe Biden sold his influence all over the planet. Trump owned his businesses with his family long before he became President, and many fail to see that he's no longer President. Trump didn't make his wealth from his 4 years as President... Joe Biden has been making millions off "public service" since I was a child. I agree with you about the younger President... it matters a lot. Filtered their content? It is their protected First Amendment right to dictate was on their platform, especially since legal action can go against them if they promote certain things. The link between Hunter and the laptop is dubious at best. Trump made a lot of money off of charging the secret service incredible amounts of money to protect him on his weekend trips golfing, but I do agree that it is absolutely insane that life time "public servants" like Biden get rich in office.

The twitter files didnt prove anything. This mythical laptop isn't a silver bullet to getting rid of any governmental corruption. We know of blatant nepotism from the Trump admin that no one gave two craps about and so far the only thing from the twitter files is a dick pic. As for president I just want someone in their early 50s or younger, I am really tired of seeing dudes that are way too old for the position going in there and proving how out of touch they are.
