Change my mind...

Just another way for someone to introduce a topic of discussion... Start it off with the statement and end it with "..change my mind"  So for example "Unicorns are real, change my mind"

Steven Crowder! Very cool.

Okay I'll bite... Climate Change is a fake, created, invisible issue manufactured by environmentalists in an effort to criminalize selected energy sources in favor of less effective energy sources. They want to shift trillions of dollars into their own pockets. Heavily adopted into far left political platforms, it is now conflated into a "believe, and take action... or we're all gonna die" hysterical lie. Lining up perfectly with their ultimate desire of complete power, population control, and socialist redistribution of wealth... they will continue to milk this nonsense for everything they can get until enough of us get smart enough to tell them to shut up.

Change My Mind.

Healthcare is a human right.... change my mind.

Colorful graphs prove nothing. Play around enough with mathematics and you can show an equation that can change the direction of the rotation of the Earth... it doesn't mean you can actually do it. The latest thing I heard was that California experienced under 70 degrees Fahrenheit for the entire month of February for the first time in 132 years. Proof positive of Climate Change, right? Except that it happened before... 132 years ago... duh. I'm not convinced.

As for healthcare being a right... Rights are things you are born with. You do not have to earn them. No one has to supply them to you. They cost nothing. But, they can be taken away from you. When healthcare becomes a right, we all better be prepared to supply it unrestricted, and without compensation for materials, or the time involved in supplying it. It is not a right when someone must spend their time, money, and knowledge for the benefit of this "right" for someone else. If you don't understand this, you are a Socialist, and doomed to a life of misery.

Health care is not a right. you have a right to be healthy but not to someone else service.  They only way it is a right, is when it is done by yourself on yourself. You also have the right to pay with it with your money, if you don't feel comfortable doing open heart surgery.

Rather climate change is real or not, the government cannot fix it, but can only make it worse like everything else. change my mind  EPA doesn't help fight the big oil but only individuals on mythical concerns. EPA = trash and needs to be recycle. Change my mind

Reductio ad absurdum is not a proof or a worthwhile rebuttal of evidence. Given a big enough force the rotation of the Earth could indeed be changed, it is simple physics. one region experiencing a cold month is weather not climate. The graph is not "proof", it is evidence. To change someone's mind once they're over 25 is basically impossible.

A right is not something you are born with, it is something enshrined by societal moral or legal standards. Nothing comes without cost, even to be born comes at considerable cost (both personal and societal). Article 25 of the universal declaration on human rights does in effect enshrine adequate health care as a right. That doesn't mean that you should expect multi-million dollar highly specialised therapy to buy you 6 months of life, but it does mean that you shouldn't die from simple treatable conditions with very little cost associated with them. To be willing to help out a fellow citizen does not make someone a socialist, it makes them a citizen.

Replies in orange text because the quote system is irritating.

The Hughes Amendment should be repealed

Change my mind

Don't hold your breath waiting for a good answer.

If I had to pick one, some super collectors will be pissed after dumping their entire life savings into Pre 1986 MGs, their value will suddenly become worthless. Little do they realize their collection is essentially antiques and wouldn't exactly lose perceived value.

Another takeaway from that is don't put all your investment eggs in one basket.

@Samus lets see what you got ;)

The United Nations is a useless building in New York City that brings together lobbyists from several countries for the sole purpose of protecting their own interests, and everything that comes out of that shitpit is meaningless... Change My Mind!

I am better than @Samus

Change my mind

You're known to post (spam) a lot, however samus has more posts than you.
He has more posts in 5 times the years I do. I'll probably pass him by my bday lol

Another case in point, samus has served IRON longer....

My only concern about this issue is how many important posts that I never see because they get buried under an avalanche of useless garbage. I don't see an accomplishment or a service to IRON in counting to ten thousand... just my opinion of course.

i never said it has to relate directly to IRON.  I meant in general :P

Case in point.  Brewers- 2 kills of Samus in black ops.  Samus-0 kills of brewers in black ops

You haven't held more simultaneous roles or total roles than me.

how many have you held at once?

I used to have a role in every IA department at one point, milcom, bounty director, vault

Samus > brewers
