Over the past 6 months of deployment, me and several people are counting down to the day we get back. I feel I've grown here and I'm doing what I can.

This deployment hasn't been the easiest. Not by a long shot. This deployment has been rough. But I'm still standing. Somehow. Cut my finger once and had to get stitches for it. Hit my head on the jet numerous times. One time my co workers freaked on me cause I was bleeding a good chunk from my forehead. But I'm still here.

Now...I may be facing the biggest challenge I've had for awhile with me coming back soon. As many of you know I'm married, but my wife with me so close getting back to her, is deciding to file for separation because she doesn't want to be tied down anymore. I'm still here and I don't plan on leaving, but my activity may suffer for awhile. Please forgive any abscence that occurs.

It also doesn't help I'm sick with idk what and running a 101 fever.

Deployments are tough under the “best” circumstances...when there’s family strife and crises, it just exponentially increases the pain. Take care of yourself first so you can handle the other stuff. Hang in there!
