no one is really sharing thoughts, its just a bunch of us asking robert questions and then robert saying he cant answer them

the dontavian kill was weird.

 

brand new player.  there are lots of people here who would probably not have advocated for that lynch since it would seem like an ass hole thing to do.   KevinH died n1.  Rafay is always saying how good kevin is and always targets him early as scum.  And knowing rafay's play stile, I also feel he would be okay with killing a brand new player right off the bat.  

 

he might be town, but even when he is town, we can never distinguish his play from scum and tons of times we just get bogged down on "is he or isnt he scum" and then something happens which usually fucks over the town

 

I say best case hes scum and we get a kill

 

worst case we save time from what will eventually delay/derail us

Locking vote is a bit strange but preventing him from discussing stuffs on the game too fishy.. Perhaps this is actually a powerful ability?

interesting.  lets look at our three town deaths

 

Daviesolu, Nostradamus, the legendary prophesier, has been mod killed on Day 2. 

 

Francis Walsingham (KevinH), the legendary spymaster, has been killed on night 1

 

 Dontavian, Galileo Galilei, Famous astronomer, was murdered in cold blood, on night 2.

So rafay is claiming a character who attacked Europe.  All the town characters so far have been European.  Maybe this is the town/scum divide for character names?

Christ I am sorry for my inactivity, with the whole quarantine and I got my first PC built a week or two ago I’ve been addicted to it, and school has piled tons of online work and crap onto me, and mafia just slipped my mind.

Apologies aside, I’ve read most of what’s come up to today since I was last online (the 19th as brewer pointed out) and I believe Robert being a town that’s forced to vote for somebody is plausible. What gives me that thought is my own role, which bears constraints in a similar way.

Also, however, I don’t think vote thief is very likely the answer for this, because a vote thief usually just takes that persons vote and either adds it to their own or gets rid of it completely (from my knowledge of the role), not that they can choose somebody to have that persons vote placed on. Of course, that could be a variant or choice of the mod, so it is still possible.

I’ll try to be more active from here on out.

As of now velocity is in line to get mod killed, unless a full lynch is achieved.
A mod kill will happen simultaneously with a deadline lynch.

I think that could be right. I wouldn’t base an entire theory on flavor text, but use it instead as evidence of a theory, which you do use it as evidence. I don’t think everybody that’s died and names revealed have been Christians in the context of this game, but I could be wrong.

Ah. That clears that up, I guess they all were. I’m no history buff when it comes to religion, but that’s nice to know. I think you might just be right, in that case.

Up until now, there really hasnt been much to go off of. However, I agree with Brewers reasoning. If Rafay is part of the ottoman empire then that goes against the European Christian regime and would therefore make him scum.

No, not that my role restricts me from saying things.
