1) If someone were to deprogram the cult leader, would they become town or do they just keep their powers?
The Cult Leader would keep their powers if deprogrammed.  "Reverting to original role" is moot.

2) You probably already answered this, if so I'm sorry, but if someone dies and comes back to life, do they keep the abilities they started the game with?

A revived player comes back with their original role.

Torres951, Tony Maurice, Canik, Lord MK, iSocialism and Velocity are left, right?

Well, i am the bloodhound and i was infected and then i was revived. So back to town.
You and Velocity have been turned up as town when investigated.
So you may have been infected afterwards.
But you are definitely not mafia.
And Velocity was with town last night.
Then there's CM/ Tony. He investigated both brewers and STP, and found them to be using protective action. Which they admitted to.
So by extension, CM is a follower.
And then he was infected, but he was revived.
So he's Town once again

That clears 4 out the 6 left

There was a kill yesterday.
Which means that mafia, who are the faction with the kill are still left.
So the 2 players who have not been particularly been confirmed as town are Canik and Torres.

I investigated you earlier in this game.
You may gotten infected by now.
But the fact remains that you are not mafia.
As you can only become mafia at the start and not by recruitment, as the cult can.
So my results in a way, eliminate potential mafia suspects.

It is strange MK seems to want to ignore my announcement that I was infected last night meaning Cult Leader is still alive. Announcing it doesn't benefit me personally either.

MK claims there are 2 people left unconfirmed as town (Torres and myself) but thinks there is only 1 scum.
I say no there are two scum left I was infected.

Reasonably, you should think it must be both Torres AND myself. I'm tellin' you though, something is wrong here because Torres, he may be scum, I don't know but there is ANOTHER out there and it isn't me.

Now that doesn't make any sense with the investigations so far.

And observations of a few players.
There's one way that you could have been infected just last night.

So in this new model.
You are infected.
Torres is the cult leader, which makes even more sense than him being mafia, come to think of it.
He as the cult leader, knows who's cult and who's not. So RCing as a private Investigator makes sense.

Now the mafia.
It's Velocity. now you may be thinking what about my innocent result on him last night.
Well, that's true, i did get that.

But there's been a quite a lot of evangelistic modifiers. So surely there has to be one the other way around.
This is where the good old Godfather comes in.

So velocity as the Godfather makes sense and also afforded the opportunity to just not participate, cause he knew that eventually someone will investigate his inactivity and then when they get a favourable result, Velocity is left off the hook and can continue to stay under the radar.

And Torres as cult leader, makes it a very clever play to RC as private Investigator.

So in all likelihood.
Out of the remaining players.
We got

3) iSoc - unhelpful townie
4) Velocity - Mafia Godfather.
5) Canik - infected townie
6) Torres - Cult leader.

How is motion detector and commuter a convenient story?
I watched brewers N1 because I knew he was going to be a hotspot of activity on the first night, and think about the hints and nods I dropped on day two, referring to him as a “hive of activity last night.” I played it off as a joke, so people wouldn’t make me list myself early on.

I watched Torres N2, because he had said his role, so I wanted to see if he performed an action to confirm it, and if somebody like the cult team or scum tried to kill him.

First no one can confirm that you used your role on them and second, you only did it two time which makes it hard to piece your story together.

We already know that Torres has been using his role, so that can be fabricated. Your saving grace will be only in brewer, if he can confirm that he submit an action and also had an action done on him, then you will be a little bit better off.

So brewer, I don't know how to do the at, @, thing, can you confirm any of this.

If I'm not mistaken Tony/cm you were infected on night two?
