But it didn't. Clearly a later state of affairs arose rendering your statement wrong. This does however lead to an inter sting philosophical point.
If at the time of posting, you had won as the internet was going to end, but later circumstances changed and it became false, was the statement always false or did it become false when the different state of affairs manifested itself.
