....I hate this. As Brewers deserves being lynched for pro tending to get a guilty result and death of Velocity. I didn't get on in time to remove my vote. But Unfortionitly. Commuter makes too much sense to me....So While I Think his actions where entirely scummy, I gotta work with what I have.

I'll have to reread, but I figured I should post and unvote after reading his RC. 

Why does you failing to removing your vote on a joke train mean brewers deserves to be lynched?

 

Are you Paying attention at all? When Brewers made his supposesive joke. I took it at face value and voted to Follow the cop. To me it wasn't a joke. If you couldn't figure that out. In any other circumstance, I'd be pushing for a brewers lynch. But after his RC, and last night. I cannot continue voting for him.

If somebody would have come out and hinted that they found scum and tried to lynch, I might have followed as if it's Day 2.
But that didn't happen.

So you're right that he never outright claimed cop, but this response to Kevin's wish that someone who was a cop would try to hint at their investigation results made it seem like he was hinting at claiming it. I think it's a stretch for anyone to say that brewers outright lied, but even brewers acknowledged that he sees how it could've been interpreted that way.

I agree that Brewers' explanations are plausible.

• He could have been making a joke Day 1.
• He really might be a commuter.

 

But suppose he is scum

• He could lie and claim that it was a joke Day 1.
• He could fake claim that he is a commuter.

 

The fact is that Velocity got lynched because of his actions.

You could also be advocating a kill for Brewers because you're scum and killing a townie advances your cause.

Your posting and lack of real activity leads me to believe you're not working in the town's best interest, and I am right now believing Lyner's RC, although I'd love to see independent verification somehow.

Im torn right now. Lyner still bothers me for trying to get town to mass name claim but Torres has also lacked with activity and then acting like he wants to be thought of as scum feels way to over the top, like he's trying reverse psychology or something

Yeah I'm torn too. At this point, Lyner has at least RCed, which makes it easy to validate his claim and hammer him tomorrow if he's lying. Torres has been scummy pretty much the whole time and never made an attempt to save himself or justify his actions. Then again, maybe Torres just isn't taking the game seriously, and Lyner knows that mislynching another day won't help our cause.

It feels like the safe choice is Torres but the high risk high reward choice is Lyner. I have no idea if this is the right call but...

Night 0, I blocked Tony.

Night 1, I blocked Kevin.

Is there a way I can prove it? Can I target someone tonight and they can confirm if I'm telling the truth or not?

I don't think so without someone else having to unnecessarily out themselves. If either Tony or Kevin is online then they should be able to confirm if they had an action that was blocked or not without having to out their role.

Well TW could have used her as a safe claim. I've done that in a few games, gave the main character as a scum safe claim. Just did it with Joe Exotic actually.

And rb could be a scum role as well.

But if he's town and night kills on night 0 were allowed, he also could have stopped Tony from making a kill

Role blocker is a risky fake claim cause it's easy to disprove. However it can easily be a scum role as well

How is it easy to validate lyners claim? If he is scum he could have easily picked two Townies and said they were town. Only way to validate it is use a cop investigation on him. Can't track or watch his actions since he's a day cop (convenient)

I guess validate was the wrong word. I mean it's relatively easy to disprove. He takes any action at night? Obviously lying. Any investigation against him comes back as not town? Obviously lying. You're right though that if neither of those came back negative then we still couldn't necessarily prove his claim, but it would at least have more credibility, right?

Anyway my point was mostly that Lyner has at least given a theoretically disproveable role claim, but now Torres has too, so I'm really torn. Is anyone else online? We're running out of time to avoid any potential mislynch.
