We have until 8pm tonight server time, and I'm extremely confident that Kevin is scum, so I'll actually make this easy on everyone and role claim. I am a Gladiator, and when I challenge any player, all votes are reset and everyone must only vote for myself or the person I challenge.

I have strong doubts about his role claim, and his behavior has been consistently scummy. If this works, especially if Rafay dies and turns up scum too, we might actually have a legit shot to win, so I feel like it's worth the risk on the very small chance that Kevin is just not paying any attention or something (which would be very not like him).

Well it seems like LWW is telling the truth about his role at the very least. The question now is whether he's mafia or town.

If we mess up the lynch, and a townie dies tonight, we may lose. It’s currently 5-3 if I am correct, and losing Kevin if he’s town and a night kill would make it 3-3. Unless we have some power roles to save us, that’s a loss.

We don't have a lot of time, and the longer this draws out, the easier it is for mafia to throw a vote or two on me and win the game. I can't name claim due to my post restriction that it seems like we all have, but I promise I'm town, and I would hope that most of my actions throughout this game are reflective of that to most people.

If anyone has any questions for me that would prove myself other than asking me to name claim, I'm happy to do it. I know it's not perfect, but at least I haven't lied about my role, and being a scum gladiator and using at this point doesn't make any sense to me, vs being town and doing my best to avoid splitting the vote so we can have our best chance to get one scum and keep the game alive. This is my only ability so I won't have taken any night actions, if anyone can confirm that.

I previously stated that I am a Motivator and can give someone an extra action. 

Motivator is way more powerful for the town than a Gladiator.

Lord MK is out of the game, but Rafay, or Lyner could confirm the extra action if they had one.

 

As a plea to the group, tell me whom to motivate tonight and that can confirm my role. 

(I understand that the scum will want an extra action, too ... we'll have to judge who's telling the truth)

How exactly will Rafay or Lyner confirm your role? Lyner has already had a chance to do so and has said, and I quote:

And I don't know about motivation, but I got a new hint last night, that there are almost no more powerful townie roles left and a hint on scum's identity

Emphasis mine. Besides, the same way no one can prove that I'm town just because I'm gladiator (even though it's a much stronger town than scum role), you being a motivator is definitely seen in some games as a scum role, so you could easily be telling the truth and just motivating scum or roles that won't benefit from it.

Frankly most of that doesn't matter though, because if you're town, then I've basically just lost the game whether town kills me or you, seeing as there is almost definitely 3 scum in a single faction. Honestly this is just more evidence to me that you're scum, because that's fairly obvious (Velocity just said as much a post or two up) and I'm sure you'd know that, so appealing to the town's desire not lynch powerful roles by lynching another less powerful townie at a point when a mislynch probably ends the game is a very clever and devious scum play.

Also, the odds that both of us are town are low, assuming there are three scum. Both of us each have a vote, so scum could easily add three votes on either of us to get a train going, and would only need one extra vote to seal the lynch. What's more likely is that one of us is scum, and they need at least one other person to vote for the townie so they can pile on and end the game.

I'm town and my role can help the town win.

 

If you're town, which I'm doubting all the more, you should concede that the challenge was a mistake and take one for the team.

Lol that's absolute nonsense. First of all my role isn't weak if the town believes me when I say I'm town, or has a way to confirm it. The wiki says it's "an amazingly strong role," and...

In the hands of a strong town player who is in good standing (or a town player that has been confirmed), it should almost always spell death for their opponent.

Frankly my biggest weakness is that I've been scum in too many games and am too new, so I'm not exactly in the excellent standing needed to pull this off more effectively. It's to scum's benefit to paint me as unconfirmed or untrustworthy though, because then my role truly is weak. So good play on your part.

Honestly if I got this wrong then that's on me, but almost everything you've done reads scum to me, so I'm either right or I'm REALLY wrong, and this feels like a safe gamble to me. Hopefully everyone else sees it the same way, or at least knows something I don't and can at least justify a vote on me instead of Kevin.

alrighty it is really early in the morning that I am writing this and the way this panned out I would say kevin did infact present a good defence in his case and honestly if this was not a situation where I had to vote either of them I could easily see myself voting for someone else but we also have to keep the way the entire game in mind and I personally cant just ignore things kevin did throughout the game for example defending rafay almost entire game and even now very cleverly avoiding the question of how his role can be confirmed by the people he already motivated and yes I do believe hos RC is true but I do not know if his affiliation is safe or no

lww Didn't really have a strong case going for him honestly but she had more of the fact that he has been less mysterious about things and has kept his transparency which makes me believe I should trust him so
