That's hilarious. Thank God though, that would've been a horrible twist.

The only people with post restrictions should be demigods and those directly related to it. They should be able to say the name of any demigod, just not a god or other immortal being. So if ghaws is a demigod, he could say who he is. If he isn’t, he couldn’t, and since he can’t, it’s starting to seem like he may be an immortal being... hmmmm

Just a thought.

I mean I'm also an immortal being which is why I can't name claim, but he might just be playing safe since he already got scolded by the mod lol. Nothing about his play has suggested scum, and since he's still pretty new to this I definitely would've expected some sort of nervous overreaction or something if he was. So while I'd like to see an RC from him to get a better idea of what we're working with, he's down with you and TW on my list of suspects, personally.

As you've all probably figured out, you are post restricted. Everyone's role pm had: 

 

Everyone knows that names have power! If you say the name of a monster, you might as well be sending them a signal flair to your location. You are Post Restricted. You are not allowed to explicitly state the name of any monster, god, or immortal being without having possible, life threatening consequences.

 

I wanted to see how long it would take for everyone to realize that they all had this in common. As the modifier says, You cannot say the name of a monster, god, or immortal being! There are some people whose PR says different, but for the most part, y'all's are all the same.

Maybe this is unbalancing the game, maybe someone might think I'm targeting them, but you are allowed to say the name of your character!! Y'all are just not allowed to say names like Poseidon, Zeus, Medusa, etc. *glares at ghaws and Tony*

 

I hope that clears things up and allows for some FUN discussions  : )

I think that's a fair decision from the mod, although I can't tell if it was actually unbalancing the game. For what it's worth, I'm Chiron.

It's not impossible for Torres to have pulled a brewers and made Percy a safe claim, and it would be a really interesting interpretation of the hint Lyner was given that one of the scum is a wolf in sheep's clothing. I think it's less likely than other alternatives but just because no one else claims Percy doesn't 100% prove that that's your name.

First things first i mistook someone else for being the god of war i just saw the name daughter of __ and war written in the same line and assumed i am the daughter of a god but when velocity pointed it out i then researched a bit and found out that infact i am not the daughter of the god of war rather i am

when i was reading about her today something that was really intriguing to me was that no where was it written that she is a part of this very specific book i was actually surprised and kinda confused at that moment of time idk why torres did that but that is what it is

Calypso is a pretty out there claim, but I can’t see it being impossible.

Until TW shows up, I’m not going to vote for Rafay and risk ending the day early.

I do believe that he is the best choice for a lynch, though. With the name claim situation being cleared up, we can get back on track eh?

Assuming Lyner was right about TW, then at least one other player is lying, and probably two. We have to get it right though or we'll probably lose.

I am also post restricted. I cannot mention the name of any monster, god, or immortal being. Sorry I haven’t said much here. I don’t know anything about the theme. My character is Gabe Ugliano, Percy’s stepfather. As I understand it the guy is an ass in the series but I am town in this game. Unfortunately my role is pretty limited and I don’t have any information to share.

Gabe is one of the explicit townies I received in my initial role message. It is said that you can't hurt me but will probably steal something from my character, given the chance. Can you confirm this TW?

Just reposting Lyner's confirmation of TW as town. Again, we can't be 100% certain that there's not some manipulation going on, but I think this makes TW the least likely scum suspect.
