Frosty was a nickname I got my freshman year of high school and since it seems like that is the only name that anyone there knows me as I just kept it. King was just something I added for a skit I did at a pep rally and 1027 stands for my birthday (October 27).

Narsis...comes from...well...from my ORPG days(which i still do sometimes ).

 

basically, i had three different, and unique, names that i made up and the one i used depended on the class of character. they are all based of my RL name(good luck guessing that ) and the meanings behind them sort of evolved as i used them. Narsis means(well my definition) split. which side do i take? which path to follow? good? bad? both? i started using it as my initial name for any game i played since i generally didnt know much and thus was split.

 

for RP reasons i realized that i needed a last name, although i dont often use the full name. the full name is: Narsis Ausian.

 

 

Mystrada is...just a random name i came up with recently(well recently when i joined CN) for a fantasy world created in my mind cause i was bored sometimes and needed a story to keep me occupied.

ccabal86 comes from way back when I wanted to play Tiberian Sun online. My favorite character from the C&C series back then was this AI called CABAL, so I wanted to include him in my username.

 

However, you had to have a name exactly 8 characters long, so I added an "86" to the end (my birthdate) and a "c" to the beginning. And somehow the name stuck, I've been using it ever since, and nothing else.

I am probably not the most creative one. I am a lot into genealogy (tracking your family roots and in Iceland we have very good records) and one of my forefathers was Rustikus Sigurðsson and he was a mayor of a sort in his municipality in Iceland in late 1700s. My parents started to use this name on their e-mail address long time ago and at one point when I needed to come up with a nick online then due to lack of creativity I selected it. I have been using it for years and years. I even own domains with that name and use one of it for one of my blogs. I even gave one of my dogs this name.

 

The name of my nation is equally creative as it is half of the name of the street I live at here in Sofia. I have been using it for some time in every nation building game I have played.

My name is Guerrier which is french for warrior. The reason I put it in french is because I am part french.

Dom Zak is my Ruler Name.

 

In Dutch it means "Dumb Bag", but thats not why I chose it. I didn't even know that until I went to FOK Forums.

 

Dom is a mispelling of Don (As in the Mafia or Spanish Lord Title)

Zak because that is my name.

Well the Gonzo is in remembrance of Hunter. S. Thompson, the father of GONZO Journalism and the Impaler is from Vlad the Impaler or Dracula as he's also known...

Back in the day, when I thought I was going to write a fantasy novel, the protagonist's name was going to be Thelzarc. I no longer thing I'll be writing that book, but I lent the name and character concept to a friend who is, in fact, writing fantasy. As for the nation name, Amestria, I couldn't think of any nation names that weren't taken (I really wanted Aurora but that was taken) and I happened to be watching Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood at the time. The nation that show takes place in is Amestris so I just changed up the last bit and voila. Creative, no?

I got the Razgriz name from the Ace Combat 5 game as most would probably guess. The 90 portion was originally a random number that I put on the end but most people ask if it means I was born in the 90s. I was born in 91 so I guess that could be used to explain that.

 

Pretty simple name tbqh, but im usually bad at making up random nicks, etc.

My ruler name is Alasdair, and coincidentally, that's the last name and identification name of the protagonist in my recent NANOWRIMO story. Alasdair is Gaelic for "protector of Mankind." I didn't choose it specifically for that, however; I just liked the name, honestly. :P

 

 

My nation is Icewing Nation, and I just kind of made that up on the spot.

However my capitol's name is Aerbis, and that is from another previous story of mine. It was supposed to be a mix of two words... something like Aerial and urban, but I forget exactly.

My ruler name, BoderlineBacon, takes its inspiration from and unfortunate incident between myself and a curing machine a while ago. The smell was so inviting, I couldn't resist probing my hand in there to grab a piece of juicy bacon. However, the machine didn't want to give up its bacon that easily, I tried to wrestle with it but I was no match and before I knew it the top half of my body was fully inside undergoing the curation process. Luckily, the machine was switched off before I turned full bacon, leaving me only bo[r]derline.

 

This probably isn't true.

 

Also, not being able to change the typo in my name is annoying.

Hmm well back when I played WoW I hit the random name generator thing, I saw a name changed a couple letters and came out with Lorikz, this was years ago and I have used it ever since, I have not ever come across anyone using the same name and it has been 5-6 years so that is pretty awesome

Ivan V was my Nationstates nation's monarch from when I last played that game... I decided to carry over the name to CN, even though Yuzhnoye Primorye was not my NS nation, lol.

 

Why Ivan? It's a common Russian name, anyway, which refers to my heritage. Every man on the Ruthenian side of my family were traditionally usually named either Mikhail or Ivan (there were other names used if there was more than one son, such as Fyofil/Theophilos in the case of my great-great grandfather's second brother) before they emigrated to the States as guest workers in the coal mining business in the late 19th century.

Psycogenius is from an inside joke/argument i had way back in middle school. Friends would be debating over a subject or researching the answer to something... i would walk in and be able to explain everything about it either because A) i paid attention in class i just knew about it from something else. To which my friend Izzy would always say... "Dude... how do you know that?" Im a genius, thats why. His response, "no... youre just pyscho..." Mash the 2 together to get psychogenius... but no one likes a correctly spelled tag and i thought psycogenius did a couple of things. Made the word itself look better and created a bit of irony that a "genius" would spell "psycho" wrong. So yes, intentionally spelled wrong (as many people have asked about lol)

 

Not the coolest story ever... but thats how the name came to be roughly 9-10 years ago.

Liberal, dirty, tree hugging hippies often allude to vast right wing conspiracies, and fascism is seen as right wing... (even though Nazis were SOCIALISTS) Rednecks are viewed as right wing, even though the majority of them vote for the Democrat party... The long sorry history of mining towns accounts for this aberration in thought. (Where they screwed up was calling on the government to help instead of pressing on in their offensive) Of course they came to be scorned and vilified by the Democrat Party for nothing more than expressing their individualism and having a penchant for free thought. Also, their votes were considered minuscule to the number of votes which could be hustled via exploiting phantom racial grievances. They are also vilified for clinging to their "evil" guns and the awful concepts of Faith, charity, personal responsibility, and defending themselves instead of waiting for government agents to come in and bungle prosecuting the guy who made them a corpse. Not a fan of Religious Right nutballs either.

 

Also, I thought it would be cool to have a nation of DIY Rednecks who conspired to overtake the Nation and keep it you know... free.
