Will the mafia get a notification that they blocked someone from committing a night action or not? If they do get a notification then Narsis is really forced to role claim.

Hmmm. Interesting. I would give it a 70% chance that Narsis is lying. That seems like a hastily prepared story, that allows him to avoid having to do with his room-mate's death. He knows that the very limited options of lynch-candidates could very well lead to his death.

Here are some things of interest to me:

Why did Narsis role claim he had a power role? Wouldn't this be an open invite for a future night kill from mafia?

What is his power role? If it is in the best interest for Narsis NOT to tell us than he should not. But to me, he's already a target anyway so he may as well tell.

Did Falzis see anything? He was in the same room where the murder went down.

We've explored every room on the plane and all items should now be discovered. I'm sure those of us who found them know how best to use them. We'll have to trust their judgement.

I was thinking that as well. No I didn't see anything, I didn't get any PM. I'm surprised there is a role blocker, and that the blocked person receives a pm. Does that happen in other games? The blocked person gets notified (even if just a townie)?

I don't see many games with roleblocker in it. Not quite sure.

I don't think you would see anything anyways.
Cuz that would mean that mafia would always get caught when targetting a room with 2 townies in it.

I don't know about that.
Instantly it has drawn suspicion onto Narsis when he didn't have to.
He was widely considered as townie since he helped flush out the room assignment theory on D1.
It would have been smarter to hedge his bets that way.

I believe Narsis is telling the truth, because he is not on the chopping block, so if he were a mafia, he wouldn't need to risk a fake claim . So, he gains nothing from lying?

I don't see him being able to gain anything, if he were a mafia, by telling us this.
Oh...man going in circle is tiring. Narsis is going to die anyway.

If Narsis is not the cop, the real cop will investgate him and Narsis will be lynched the next day, or if he is the doctor, then he is dead.
Anyway, if he is the cop, he will be targeted next.
If he is not the cop, he will still be targeted, because he is the doctor.
If he doesn't die during the night, he will be lynched, for suspicion for being a mafia
Basically, Narsis will be the next to die.

Unless, you prove yourself to be the cop and the doctor will definitely protects you.
So Narsis, who have you investigated? You voted for me last time so I know you didn't investigate me. Who are the mafias? Found any? Who are the townies? Tell us your power, you are dead anyway.

Kevin got killed, I have no idea who could be a mafia anymore. Why would the mafia kill Kevin?

I don't think that Narsis has a powerrole. He is experienced enough to know he should have remained quiet if he is. However, it also seems strange that a townie would be told that he is roleblocked. He doesn't have a nightaction, so why would it matter to him that he got roleblocked? Sure it gives us extra information, so it is good. But I haven't seen a townie receive a message that he was roleblocked before.

In a normal game the roleblocker would not get told if he prevented a nightaction. That would overpower him. Further, I haven't played that much with roleblockers either. I've seen mafia and pro town roleblockers, though the mafia roleblocker seems to be more common.

I would assume that Narsis has a power role because it told him he was role blocked. Why would a vanilla townie even be told that because they do not have a role that could be blocked.

I have other thoughts as well but am pressed for time. I'll post more on the night actions later during the day.

I played one game with a townie roleblocker.
But that game also had a mafia roleblocker as well.

I'm inclined to think that Narsis is pro-town. I think it was CD who said that Narsis was under no real pressure of being lynched and therefore had no reason to say what he did unless it was the truth. Of course there's always the WIFOM factor.

Why was Narsis selected to be role blocked?

Narsis and KevinH (also Falzis) shared the same room. KevinH was targeted for murder and I'm assuming they role blocked Narsis so he couldn't stop the nk. So why role block Narsis over Falzis? Either Falzis is scum or they believed that Narsis was more likely to have a power role.

a few things to clear up:

first, i'm neither confirming nor denying that i have a power role. best to leave the mafia guessing.

secondly, i have no idea why mole sent me a pm. however, from the wording in it and my knowledge of mole as a mod and roleblockers in previous games...i find it safe to assume that i was roleblocked.

third, i'm not 100% sure that it was the person who roleblocked me that i heard enter the room. however, and again basing this off my knowledge of mole, it likely was that role.

fourth, the only reason i can think of for me being roleblocked is that the mafia assumed both me and Kevin had power roles and that Kevin had a more powerful role. most likely an investigative one. if they thought anything else, then i likely would have been nk'd and Kevin left for the mob today.

to his post before that he was roleblocked... it's like an implicit roleclaim to me. Also EM also considered his post as roleclaim...

just thought i'd add:

personally, i think that it was a mafia roleblocker. yes it could have been a town roleblocker but:

a) the majority of the town would have put me as a townie as of last night.
town roleblockers are rare and pretty weak.

something that is still bugging me though is why did they roleblock me when they killed Kevin? is it a coincidence that i was in the same room as him? although when i think about it, Falzis couldn't have roleblocked me and nk'd Kevin. so it seems obvious that power roles aren't limited to their and adjacent rooms.

something else to think about: if it was indeed a mafia roleblocker as i'm guessing then there is likely some pro town power roles in existence...
