This is a ridiculous reason. Scum wants to win the game. The odds are heavily against them at this point (10 vs 3) and you think their concern is to make it entertaining towards the end? In almost every game I have played so far, one of the most active players and experienced players were targetted by scum on Day 1. I have not yet seen a scum hit an inactive on Day 1.

Well you did exactly that, you targeted one of the most inactive players on Night 1 in a previous game.

Almost everyone in the game posted more in that thread than the player you targeted.

A player that even apologized for inactivity, that you targeted.

If what you said is true you would targeted at least one of the top 5 posters(scum hunters).

Using a scale and comparing it to this game that player was around the same region Nerau was.

Target for killing is completely unrelatable from last game. Last game there were 3 factions who could kill at night and me being a pro-scum character wanted to make sure all 3 kills succeeded. So I chose someone who was not completely inactive or very active (one group may be targetted by scum and other group by Vig). Moreover there quite a lot of dialogue on Day 1 in the last game and quite a few active people were looking scummy (including you and Euclid). So of course I did not want to reduce the list of scummy looking posters. However in this game, pretty much nothing happened on Day 1 and zilch as info was obtained due to non-lynch.

And a player that has been replaced in this game and didn't even post yet.

Mod posted RoT will be replaced quite a few days ago. So who was not in my list of targets as I knew he will be replaced by a player who will probably be active. My other possible target was DarkIce and I chose Nerau over him because of reasons I posted earlier...Nerau had more votes on him and your interesting switch towards the end. If Nerau turned out scum we would have more info compared to if DarkIce turned out scum

One scum faction would choose an active target and the other would choose an inactive target.

If you actually believed what you're saying now you would have chosen an active target instead of an inactive as there was about the same amount of chance of hitting the same target as someone else no matter what option you went with.

I believe that you believe that the scum would not choose inactive targets.

However we don't know what the scum are thinking and that is the point.

We only know now what you were thinking when you were doing it and the same holds true in this game if they picked Nerau.

If the scum did target Nerau last night I would call it a "mistake" on their part as if they wanted to win more easily they should have targeted an active player.

However you made that  "mistake" in a previous game.

In summary if you can make that mistake then I don't see why the scum in this game can't.

You based not targeting me or Euclid off flawed readings in us, I don't see how the scum in this game can't get flawed readings on players just like you did that would make them do something or not do something.

And hence we don't know what logic the scum were using when they decided to pick someone to kill.

They could have been basing it off random, hoping to hit a town power role for all we know.

Or perhaps they took a similar stance to you and didn't want to lynch any of the most actives as it could have the two shot cop/vig who could have assisted in killing of townies.

Not that they would have thought the two shot cop/vig would be using his shots randomly with no leads, I had no idea that was going to happen.

... so where you got the idea I want to lynch him today is beyond me.

How about this one?

Personally I'd lynch you right now on the spot, because I'm calling total BS.

I'm not sure you know what the word personally means.

If you knew the definition of it then you would have removed you vote and or would have not even voted me in the first place.

Actually I'm not sure you know what Personally means, because what you said is that you would prefer to lynch him on the spot without discussion because you tend not to believe him.

Some people need a lesson

"Used to indicate that a specified person and no other is involved in something."

Which is a scenario that does exist as we make a decision of who to lynch as a group.
Basically you voted me for something I would do in scenario that does not exist for us.
I'm sure you can work out how silly that is.

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/personally

3. as regards oneself: Personally, I don't care to go.

Compare to

Personally, I'd lynch you right now on the spot

The normal interpretation would be that if you could have your way, the lynch would occur immediately.

And it's not "if I had my way", it's if I was the only person involved.

The inactives need to post more.

As for me I still think CS is the scummiest looking so far so my vote will stay on him.

Note to MOD: I will be out of town for a few days until 5th. I should be around but may not be posting much.

Can't say I agree with you still voting me when the reason you did so was for a reason that was incorrect as proven by you.

I'm not even the one voting for you, but I am quite tempted to now. You set-up an imaginary scenario blah blah blah so what you say is not something that can be used against you is all I'm hearing. The fact is you still said it to make a point. That point being that you wish to lynch him right now regardless of what other people think. That is either because you really don't trust his role claim, or because you are scum and making us lynch our own power role would benefit you greatly.

I'm not even the one voting for you, but I am quite tempted to now.

It was a broad message followed by a personal one to KevinH.

You just happened to be the first one to respond.

You set-up an imaginary scenario blah blah blah so what you say is not something that can be used against you is all I'm hearing.

I didn't set it up at all, I said what I had to say about his initial role claim which is very low meaningful claim.

I had no idea people would not understand what the word "personally" meant and some still don't and to suggest that I knew you would not know what it meant in that sentence is overestimating my physic abilities.

That point being that you wish to lynch him right now regardless of what other people think.

It seems you learned nothing, if I wanted to lynch him now I would not be suggesting the conditions under which he should live and I would not be voting a different person.

I would be suggesting to other people to vote Imran today and get Imran lynched today.

Evidence
- At one point CS said he would lynch Imran.
- Later CS said multiple things that imply that he wouldn't lynch Imran.

Explanation
CS probably felt that Imran's role claim was ill conceived and (thus) lacked credibility. He initially (over)reacted to this but after giving it some more thought he calmed down.

Conclusion
There's nothing particularly scummy about CS's behavior. That makes KevinH's focus on this issue a bit suspect IMO.
