Honestly. I don't think it was his age (on any given day he is still better than a great deal of far younger goalkeepers. It seemed rather that he was expecting either a slightly higher or a tad longer shot, he would have stopped either. As it was though...
No regrets over the game, even had Italy won. They played well and deserved to win as much as Germany did.

Congrats Friff, I really hoped that Ronaldo would finally win a tournament with the national squad. Although it wasn't pretty how they did it, in the end it all doesn't matter. France was unable to crack Portugal in 120 min, so why would they have deserved it more? Especially here in the Netherlands a lot of people are discrediting Portugal's performance this EURO, but it's Portugal that has the last laugh. Even during the award ceremony they were talking about how Dutch football should never turn to be like this, bla bla bla. I mean FFS man, they just won the tournament, yet you still want to talk their performance down, please....
