  1. That won't matter if the doc never says a peep and ultimately is anti-town. It's an odd theoretical situation and does not seem to be the case.
  2. I'm inclined to agree with this statement and about people catching the 'hint' from the day before. Nonetheless Kasabian forced the situation of conflicting docs by claiming my role as we was being lynched. Also, Canucks the cop has been lying hints himself about his role for a while now so I wouldn't be surprised they would know. I personally believe lynching molestar, at this point, does make sense and keeps the doctor alive for certain in the next day by the reasoning they wouldn't want to immediately out their own man between us two. However, a mafia roleblocker (as mentioned earlier) could simply block me from saving from then on now they that the real doc has been outted or kill me if they can not do that. A stalker would be just as bad and our cop would be even less safe. I'd also like to hear opinions of people such as ccbal, Nerau and Alasadair who have been lingering and not adding to this for a while or when they do post they simply repeat what has been said or nothing worth knowing.
  3. @CanucksDynasty I agree it's possible I'll misread them and protect the target mafia won't kill tonight or they might role block me and kill another townie, depending on what the mafia powers is available this game. It makes sense because if I am killed tonight then we would know for sure Kasabian is mafia and vice versa if that was the case. In response to KevinH's no-lynch today, I disagree I'll be killed, role blocked or someone less contested townies (CC, Kaziocore) could also be killed rather than the obvious kill the two cleared townies. Just food for thought. I doubt I will be killed by mafia because it will seal Kasabian's fate and instead they'll try to go for a no lynch or lynch their own mafia as a lost cause and maneuver from there. They shouldn't be given room to maneuver. @Kasabian I actually was not on the chopping block, you were and you played coy and tried to weasel your way out by claiming a power role and forcing them to out themselves or forever be silent.
  4. In my experience it's usually a mafia stalker, the counterpart of the cop on the mafia side. I haven't played mafia much on these boards to gauge the roles here used. No matter who is right, in an objective standpoint, me and Kasabian are most likely going to be dead before the next day. I claimed simply because people were pulling their votes away from kasa after he falsely claimed doc and if I did not counterclaim I would look rather suspicious and questioned why I have not counterclaimed. In this scenario we have at least a vague image of who is mafia whether me or Kasabian is mafia. The cop should not out themselves at this point and only if it's dire enough to call for it. CanucksDynasty is correct in interpreting what I said. I refer to the other low posters such as Martino and Nerau who could possibly be mafia instead of Alasdair. I still see the listed possible groups as good models if not entirely accurate in the case of discounted votes.
  5. That actually isn't a bad idea but it won't matter what order as they do not have the advantage in post percentage anyways. It definitely would make sense to get rid of their most active poster.
  6. It was a last resort it seems for Kasabian to save himself and out the true doc. KevinH proved very valuable this game and it appears they targeted him or no killed. Since CD and KevinH were confirmed townies I knew mole was mafia and tried to keep out of his spotlight and the enmity between him and CD. It would be very scummy of him to kill CD with the little feud and tension between the two. I'd figure the third(assuming its three mafia and no third party or is the third party) one is either Martino or Alasdair and leaning towards the latter since he hasn't been very helpful.
  7. I'm not sure if I can but I'll be vague and say its more than 89%
  8. Well played Kasabian but your squad does not specialize in medicine but mine does. It was a good way to pull attention off yourself and push a lynch towards myself and the dismemberment of my squad. The post counts per thread are not exact as in the way the moderator will count all of them worthy of being relevant to the posts so they will vary with accuracy and not be precise. I know for certain now Kasabian is mafia.
  9. I've been using inactivity as a motive to vote people, that isn't anything new. It's a scum hunt with less of a risk to get rid of active players and cause us to lose a significant amount of battlefield to the enemy. I understand if you're busy but if you're too busy to participate I suggest playing this when you have the time. However, it seems you are less 'busy' when targeted.
  10. Kasabian the thing is that you are only active when you are being targetted or discussed. Even if you are townie you aren't helping the town and it's not hard to see you as an inactive scummy. You did it last round. However, I do think Kaziocore is mafia but simply riding along with the generally agreed upon townies but I am leaning towards you being a scum due to your inactivity. ccabal86 makes a good point; Alasdair and Kasabian have been inactive and rather distant from us and someone should be lynched today. KevinH's plan of no lynch on day one was helpful to see the percentage's to give us a gauge but now is the time to act. I would rather vote for Alasdair but Kasabian has a better chance of being lynched unlike Alasdair, maybe next time. Vote: Kasabian
  11. That's the thing this game is different but with this information we confirmed at least some people are not mafia. I switched for two reasons. One, I did not think molestar was mafia he was simply used to playing the regular way of lynching on day 1 simply to narrow it down. Second KevinH's strategy makes sense but I believe a lynch should be in order this time. I still stand by killing the inactive individuals. The vote number is a rough estimate and a good one but not precise since the MOD does not include double posts nor does he include useless ones. I believe only CanucksDynasty and KevinH are still cleared because of that.
  12. So the Doc saved the day? Awesome now to see the results.
  13. Good guess. Ivan V?
  14. Since no one is agreeing with me to lynch the lower/inactive posters then I'll follow through to save a potential townie. Next time maybe.... Unvote Alasdair Vote No lynch
  15. Or maybe we're all just nodding our heads to satisfy your claims. I've seen no such hint I simply know what KevinH expects us to follow through.
  16. Simply because he has a differing view of how to play the game (no matter how illogical it may seem to you) doesn't mean he's a scum. Most mafia players typically dislike no-lynching and killing the instigator of the no lynch doesn't seem unusual to me. We discussed about lynching KevinH for that last game after all. Nerau I did not understand what you just said. It sounded like you tried to copy KevinH's post but mix your thoughts into it.
  17. I disagree. You speak about if one of our top townies dies and we don't lynch anyone we will not be anywhere close to finding the mafia and might as well just spam in order to get ahead of them. I think the best way to do this is take a low risk shot at getting a possible lurker mafia.
  18. Nice to be the exception last game. I'm not sure how to avoid your suspicions. It seems like last game I can not shake the feeling of uneasiness or uncertainty about myself. Oh well
  19. KevinH does have a point in which we should target the low activity mafiaso or townies if we're doing well in rooting out the mafia. His posts reminded me of the importance of the battlefield posting and why Everyone should be active and posting to keep the odds balanced until we can see some voting or argumentative patterns from day to day. The other ideas consist of randomly voting and his a wait and see attitude actually works in this game depending on the townies being responsible and posting often enough. I think this reinforces my position to get rid of the inactive players however.
  20. I noticed the game was a bit more active than I thought. Impatience strikes.
  21. To add to my post, I'm thinking along the lines of maybe our higher posters are more often townie than not and this is less risk for we're getting rid of the semi-inactive or non contributors which can lead to a low risk way of lowering the possible suspects.
  22. What good reason do you have? As far as I know he's always been like this and last time he was mafiaso with his no lynch strategy. I don't think you're mafia but you seem fixated on the belief KevinH is cleared and molestar's vote. I can think of many scenarios of mafia being a top poster, low poster or just in the median. I didn't like Alasadair's flop to join KevinH's no lynch nor has he really said much besides his wish not to be targeted by scum. Vote Alasadair
  23. Aye, back to the old fashioned way of seeing people's mannerism and vote patterns for tomorrow.
  24. It's not too early we have quite a few posts to make much of it at this point but there isn't much to talk about for a few days without it. I say its just impatience rather than anti-town.
  25. I think that was the purpose of getting update to make it easier for scumhunting.
