I see you caught on to my ambivalence on this. Typically I would be for lynching randomly but I feel more cautious now that the roles were not announced and only privately given.

If we were given the list of roles, I'd be less content with voting no lynch at this stage. @ccabal86 I googled it and found it on Mafiascum.net/wiki "Wine In Front Of Me (commonly abbreviated as WIFOM) is the circular reasoning that results from trying to determine the choices of an opponent who acted with full knowledge that his behavior would be subject to scrutiny." So, its what Preston is saying earlier. Two potential mafia are voting no lynch in order to avoid one of them dying, or at least he thinks so. Mafia could also be voting a random person in order to not be seen with disdain for voting no lynch.

I'm not particularly sure what to do at the moment, no lynching sounds nice since we have no idea what the roles are for the time being. I'll roll with it at least today. Vote: No Lynch

@Martino He clearly is most suspicious of KevinH this round. I don't have much of an opinion of him either way. I'd watch both of their actions closely later on.

There's the problem, you mentioned lynching someone else which would possibly be a townie, I didn't mention that either and it confused me. I didn't want you to change your vote, I just wanted to suggest some strategy in regards of using your power as weak doctor. I must of read Martino's post and thought of my own idea, I don't think we should let AKCPLUTO live either. Your first line confuses me deeply, are you saying AKCpluto is a townie? I was offering a suggestion since you said mafia could 'control' who you investigate since you said you would be announcing it and if you did not, mafia would not know who you were going for and most likely would keep you role blocked (unless AKCPluto is the role blocker). The other method would NOT have been be alive. He would be dead if he's lynched, a noose kills people. What you said made no sense to me. Again on your fourth line, you hint that hes actually a townie, possibly with a power role. What kind of townie fakes their roles and gets themselves killed in this fashion? Yes, I read the Weak Doctor role description. You give your name to the moderator not to the whole town, yes you can be used as a cop when you're a weak doctor. If announced on say, a townie they aren't gunning for, they could choose not to roleblock you and continue to kill another townie they suspect are too helpful to the town. (unless you were misleading them as I referred you could do earlier). If you did that and died while visiting (if doctor is protecting you there's no other way for you to die, unless hes blocked) I still have little idea what gibberish your first set of sentences was about. @Martino, when I first joined the game I did not read the OP and followed with KevinH with the belief moderator picked townie roles. I voted KevinH in a slight jest to his change in playing style until I found someone who was more suspicious. AKCpluto originally claimed to be a regular townie then changed his mind to weak doctor with only one sentence posts claiming hes a newb. If he's townie, I'm surprised hes acting this way considering he played the other mafia games decently.

I believed Martino's assessment was enough to tell he wasn't weak doctor. Since Doctor will likely protect you anyways it would not be necessary for you to announce who you are going to target each night, that way the mafia can't control who you are able to target by announcing it (unless you were intentionally throwing them off). We'll just have to see once he's lynched. Vote: AKCPluto

Perhaps the real weak doc should target AKCpluto tonight if he truly is not the real weak doctor, then that would prove it. If AKC is truly the weak doctor then the real doctor could also protect AKC... the problem with that is the doctor being unable to protect townies that are proven to be worth protected due to the additions to the daily conversations they bring instead of risking it to just figure out AKC. Either way, as you said Martino, the weak doc will die soon enough due to hitting mafia. unvote: 19thSpecOps My original reason is void now. Correct, then the role blocker will just work the magic of their role and make this entirely useless. I was thinking of maybe the weak doc claiming then the doc protecting the proposed weak doc, but there's that. I believe the best way so far to use the weak doctor was already suggested, target is the lynch vote or we can nudge 'em to pick a target we want.

Curufinwe and Yahna haven't been very active as well to this point just as 19ththespecops has. I'd prefer if he wasn't just singled out and we should be aware a significant portion of towns are just sitting there uselessly. Their existence only serves to the advantage of the mafia and hopefully the MOD can poke them just as it was attempted on the first inactive mentioned. Canucks Dynasty I meant that since we picked Ninja and Godfather we wouldn't really want a macho cop anymore. My quoted text indicates the townie roles were chosen by mafia before the entire roster chose mafia roles. I wasn't sure if this was mentioned earlier or not but wanted to point it out for myself and anyone who didn't know.

KevinH's choices made sense if only town were choosing the mafia roles and not both (which is what I originally thought). I'm not sure why it seemed like a good idea to have the bus driver if we don't have a detective or cop on our side. Otherwise the current set up we chose for mafia is the weakest set. I received my role before we voted on mafia role powers so I'm assuming mafia chose town's roles first and can not pick exactly what we don't want anymore, the macho cop. Anyhow, I'll be switching my vote to an inactive at this point. We can get a good look at people's behaviors and patterns if/when someone dies tonight or the night after. Vote: 19ththeSpecOps

Vote: KevinH He typically goes on a rant about no lynching, clearly his change in strategy is out of character and he is corrupted... Otherwise I'd vote an inactive. So far no one strikes me as suspicious. There are people from previous games such as Nerau, Kasabian who are often silent and its hard to tell whether they are mafia or not.

If I were mafia I would choose both doctors, a bulletproof, and a vengeful. The detective is almost as useful as the macho cop in figuring out who people are minus the fact they have to bide their time until they see a suspicious pattern I.E. Name visits Name2, Name 2 died. I can see mafia claiming detective despite it not being in the game so doctors, especially the weak doctor should tread carefully. Vote: Godfather, Ninja, 4-shot roleblocker I wasn't sure if mafia were picking townie roles as well so cop would definitely not be in the game and alignment would not matter, only visits.

Oh right, did mafia chose what roles town had as well?
