Because personally, mine said - I win when threats to town are eliminated and at least one town player is alive. and I know I'm acting crazy (aside from the parts that aren't an act and are actually a serious mental condition), but really.. why *shouldn't* I think I'm the most suspicious? I laid out a good argument against myself I think. If you got a better one for someone else, please please share. Anyone who has a better reason to suspect anyone else, I mean, I'm all ears! all I've heard so far is "my mind is cloudy with a chance of no strong feels on anyone".. that and LWW recognizing my unfortunate position (of there being good reason to suspect me). Which, thanks LWW, and I appreciate the sentiment that don't want to lynch me. Whoever is the most suspect tho - lynch'em. I'm happy if that's someone else but if it's me, that's fine. anyway, so the best argument we got so far for who scum is, is against me. At least, I think. Kevin appears to come closest to answering my question of "who is more suspect?", posting shade on Finster? Though, I dunno, it seems kind of weak. I'm high on everyone's scum list. which, until someone provides reason to suspect someone else as much or more than me, let's assume that actually would've been the case, had I not mind gamed everyone. now let's say I'm on high on everyone's list but you know, I'm active, I've played a lot of mafia games with them, we've fought wars together, we're friends, we're allies.. etc, etc, whatever, for whatever reason they don't lynch me. oh oh, maybe I make a good argument either against someone else or in my defense! so they don't lynch me. they lynch someone else, it's a mislynch. I survive the night because why would Mafia kill me? not only do they also love me, but they are REALLY lovin' me because with how suspicious I am, I am a distraction. I could be an easy target if they ever get in trouble. I'm basically just a living get out of jail free card for the Mafia. next day, people still suspect me but still don't really want to lynch me, plus let's assume I'm trying to live. I dunno, maybe trying to live would have got me lynched, seems likely, but let's assume I'm good at it. so they lynch someone else, another mislynch. It's night, mafia doesn't kill be for same reasons. Rinse, repeat, rinse, repeat. Yeah, there is a fair chance we find scum before then.. but with a high town to scum ratio like we got right now, that makes some mislynches very likely. Then, whoops, a couple more mislynches! Now it's Lynch of Lose, everyone's favorite gameshow! (especially Mafia's).. who are our contestants today? Well Bob, Contestant #1 is a reasonable minded person who makes logical decisions! He's provided great analysis that lead us to a scum lynch! Contestant # 2 is a guy we're pretty sure is town because it voted for a scum! Contestant # 3 is someone who seemingly tried to direct votes OFF the scum, never helped lynch a scum and lynched a bunch of townies! Who do you think is getting lynched? Am I insane to say contestant #3? Does that make no sense? I hope not because if so, I might seriously lost my mind! (in case it's not obvious enough, btw, I would be Contestant #3.) Did you follow all that? I know it's a lot, I know I had fun with it and that might've made it a bit harder.. but Canikian really isn't that hard to read if you use all three of your eyes. Now tell me, was my surviving to the end beneficial or detrimental to my team? Did I follow the WRITTEN rule and play to win? or was I some self-righteous ignorant fool who forgot how victory is achieved in this game and who focused on my own survival above all else instead of putting THE TEAM WINNING above all else? Also I assumed people were being little babies and just giving up when they got a little shade on them due to the whole forgetting how victory is achieve which made it really hard to follow the logic of someone thinking that way so I was like "Where's your dignity, man?" and told him to follow non-written of stay in it for the long which, obviously, means to never stop fighting for your survival not realizing that it is possible under certain circumstances for that to be detrimental to your team because, again, the team winning is not that forefront of my mind. My non-written rule was, but I forgot the non-written rule that assumptions make and ass out of you AND me and now I got this guy who I acted like was a little bitch making a huge ass of him. and I look like an ass too because he's tearing me a new one. who is this guy anyway? dude is insane and such an asshole. shit, wait, I know that name from somewhere.. What? I am pointing fingers at people (just one person in this case) - while claiming "I know I didn't do it!!" I mean.. I'm point the finger at myself.. in terms of who to lynch. hehe, imagine someone actually pointing at themselves screaming "LYNCH ME!! Oh my fucking... err, the RAGE!! This is all going to be super unbelievable.. first, I had just written a decent sized post all nice, very happy with it.. then my dog jumps up and runs to the door and as I'm getting up I accidentally turned my computer off. Here it goes: Unvote Vote Canik Lynch me. 100% serious. It seems almost everyone else has voted for scum or at least made some comment against someone who then flipped scum. The most I've done is say I would switch my vote to MK, after he already had like 5-6 votes on him.. and at the same time expressed my opinion that it's ok to end days a bit early sometimes lol, so scummy. And before that I was voting AbT, trying to throw some attention his way. I've voted for people who were pretty clearly probably town a couple times. Aside from that one MK comment I have not helped in the slightest to kill a scum and that comment really made no difference either. Who is more suspicious than that? No one as far as I know! I am the most suspicious, understandable. I haven't done anything clearly helping town. I am the logical lynch. And here is the thing, even if you're like "damn, Canik is arguing so hard for his lynch maybe he isn't scum.." no, go ahead and lynch me, because your next thought is probably "ofc that is what he wants me to think! he's desperate, it's a gambit!" You can't be sure, suspicion on me will linger and so Mafia won't kill me at night. Not unless something drastic changes which it probably will not. So they will let me live until then end. Each night I live, makes me more suspect. If it comes down to me or someone else, and that someone else is actually scum but he smartly bused at some point lynching his scum teammate. Who you gonna choose? Me, and then town loses. Town needs to lynch me to get that out of the way, remove that distraction and find the actual Mafia. Don't do it yet, obviously, use this time to go ahead and start looking at other people.. but barring like, a cop coming out and clearing me or revealing someone else as scum.. I really truly think, even though I am town, I'm just too suspicious and it's best to go ahead and lynch me. Thank you. (ugh the first post I wrote was so much better.. oh well)

No hard evidence. It's his voting and process of elimination, pretty much everyone else has either voted for or at some point given vocal support towards a lynch on a scum. Kevin, afaik, hasn't done either. Which, ironically I think KevinH may have voted for me at least partly due to process of elimination as well. xD I know right, sure seems like one of us are probably scum. I knew it wasn't me, so it must be you. Bold move OMGUS voting on me tho. Very interesting play if you are scum, because if you are then you would *know* I'm not. You would know I would flip town (or another faction, at least).. and after that, there would be a good chance town would lynch you the next day. With you being one of, possibly even the last scum, it is such a dead-end short term strategy it makes me think maybe you are town after all. Of course, that could be what you WANT us to think. Then we're like "If Kevin if scum he wouldn't have done something that stupid", and so people let you life another day and another town dies instead. It's so ingenious, most people I would be like "Nah, no way he/she came up with that.".. but you are one of the most experienced and crafty players. I guess no matter what happens, it'll be the rest of town who would need to make that decision. So I will leave that to you all.

It has been surprising but it does happen on a rare occasion. Things may start to even back up now tho, with probably only 1-2 mafia left and so many town, the odds of mislynch are high. I think I might know who another scum is tho, Vote Kevin

This being the Battle of Reach.. I think it might just be the UNSC and Covenant involved. Although it's possible a couple of those other factions may exist in some form. iirc, Reach is where the war started. Covenant came outta nowhere attacking, looking for an artifact or something. End up glassing the planet. I don't think Flood was involved yet, they show up later.

I'm pretty sure it makes at least a *little* sense. It's just opinionated and speculative. There is no hard evidence so doing the best I can with what we got. ^ spent a few minutes actually glancing back all the way to pg 12 reviewing some players. I was focused on those Not Voting. 8 pages is a lot to cover so if I missed anything, correct me but.. Finster Baby, Ferastical. Neither voted for MK or indicted they planned to. However, Finster lent support to the probably legitimacy of Brewer's claim and Ferastical gave MK a hard time over his Lyner vote. Aside from those posts tho, they were quite fully, non-committal. Ferastical in particular I still have some suspicion of. Wolfpacks wasn't voting then but did later for MK. Then changed to Brewers, then was gonna change back maybe, I think? I get a good town vibe from this. Robert made some general anti-MK post. The Warrior seemed to seriously be looking into MK's scumminess and analyzing, said he planned to vote MK I believe. (at this point I got tired of skimming over the same 8 pages but I did a quick glance back at Tony) Tony seemed to shy away from MK and I saw nothing that reassured me on him. He said "This is MK's big distraction play" but that was *after* MK had been mod-killed. captainjf I didn't really look at. My top suspects: Tony & Kevin. I think I'd be suspicious of myself as well. Nope. It's just typical that if you're scum and your partner is going to be lynched, it's nice to be on that wagon. It wasn't a great, strong reason I know. Not surprised it hasn't gained traction but figured I'd go ahead and throw something out there. It's more town to do that than to do nothing, IMO.

I'm tempted to switch my vote to MK too tho. Partly because I see ppl saying MK hasn't made any argument against AbT and his frustration can be from being scum a few games in a row and being caught early but also I wouldn't mind so much the day ending early. Guess I can wait a couple more days, maybe town gets a lil info. It's just once someone is the clear lynch with votes already piled up on them, usually not much else happens.

I don't think captainjf has posted at all so I can understand threatening him with the noose. The way Velocity was kinda like "he responded to pm so should be active" and isn't eager to quickly replace him.. I could very well be wrong but I get a bit of a vibe like captainjf may be scum and that's why he's quiet, getting scum can be demoralizing and intermediating to a player not experienced at it. Making them not want to post and would rather forget about the game. I'm not sure TW really needed to pile on tho. That's a tad bit suspicious too but.. could be innocent.

From the rules: "You may vote no lynch, but there will be consequences if there are repeated no lynch days." I say we no lynch now then if for some reason we need to again late in the game Velocity will prolly forget.. or have mercy.

I lean towards Kevin being double-voter meaning he is town but I agree Brewers is a bastard mod and as we all know treachery runs in bastard blood so it does not confirm it. The reason I question if calling it is that helpful to town was scum can see everything posted here too, don't forget that. This is also giving them information. I suppose they would've found out sooner or later anyway tho in this case.
