Hypothetical situation. Say we got EM to half-majority lynch, it was deadline in a few days, and he RCed as a powerrole as well, would you give him the benefit of the doubt of the doubt? That's why I'm voting AoD.

Despite what EM has said, I still strongly believe that AoD is scum and should be our lynch for today. I haven't even finished the PBP. Yet he did very little to contribute to the game during D1 and was very quick to make a fake PR claim during D2 when it was completely unnecessary, as someone has pointed out. Other candidates for today's lynch - well, the main one is EM. I'm not really feeling the EM case right now. This, admittedly, could be due to my pushing for AoD's lynch, but reading Sir Jesus' original vote-post on EM, I really can't see much worth pointing out. His lesser contribution than in other games was prewarned by EM himself, and so is a nulltell in terms of his alignment. Sir Jesus really didn't give EM much of a chance to respond before jumping to a vote. @EM - Why did you ask the question about Carl Vincent that Sir Jesus pointed out here? Cases are getting stronger as time in the game goes by. I feel that Sir Jesus' case on EM is a little reaching. Whilst I will be the first to admit the case I have presented for AoD's lynch isn't watertight, I still feel that he's really worth a lynch. To those who voted EM - are there other reasons for his lynch other than those Sir Jesus pointed out in his original post? If so, could you please link me to them? Overwhelming? Is this just gut or do you have any compelling evidence? You just seem to be casting accusations around without anything to back them up. Responsibility that I will accept. I will accept that I played a major part in KevinH's death, and don't particularly regret it either. He was scummy as hell, and if he had survived I would just be on his back again today. At least this way we can move on. as I've stated, I will probably finish the AoD PBP today.

Whether or not I called you out on lying depended on what you claimed. You contributed to getting KevinH lynched. Everyone who voted on that wagon contributed to the lynch. You can't call me out on that. Also, if you bothered to actually READ the PBP on KevinH, you may have noticed that I ended with a gut feeling that KevinH was town at the time - I voted only because we need a lynch. Only AFTER the PBP did KevinH really start acting scummy.

There's a reason I asked for your role. It certainly influenced my opinion. Up 'til now, I think you're quite scummy. This plus the fact it's amazingly unlikely we try and lynch 2 pro-town powerroles in 2 days makes me think that you're trying to save your own skin with a PR claim. Yes. At first, KevinH's lynch was just for the sake of a D1 lynch - as time grew by, he became more and more scummy. Today, I honestly think you're scum, and will be happy to take the blame if you're not.

Time for a Post-by-post on AoD, as promised. Post 1. Nothing to see here. Post 2. Casts a random vote on KevinH, and Post 3 corrects the bolding. Nothing to see here either. Post 4. Switches vote to Falzis without any reason at all. Post 5. Fluff. Post 6. Asks for a vote count. Post 7. Responds to a post by junk with one-line saying it's "kinda hard" to "game" (Scumhunt) on D1. Post 8. Says that a "john doe" doesn't necessarily need to die. Post 9. Throws doubt on whether CV can use the 'new' excuse and for how long. We've reached Page 4 - and really, there's no real content that AoD has given. He's not put across any thoughts of who he thinks is scum, and has just chipped in with odd notes. This could even be classed as trying to stay 'under the radar'. Post 10. Finally puts some suspicion on and FoSes Kaziocore, for an earlier OMGUS. He says he isn't unvoting from Falzis because 'something seems off' - there's still been no reasons given for this continuing vote, and I don't like that. Post 11. Asks why Falzis is defending Kaziocore. This could have been a reason for his vote, if it had happened before AoD puts the vote on. It's a valid point, but I wonder about the timing of the vote. Post 12. Kinda fluffy, agrees with a point that people shouldn't stick up for others in case they slip. Not much to see here. Post 13. Agrees that KevinH voting is strange. All the content in these past few posts is really agreeing with other people, and not placing a proper or solid opinion. AoD's vote is still on Falzis here. There's nothing been done at all, and that's scummy. Post 14. More of the same. Agreeing that KevinH looks scummy, but still doesn't do anything about it. Post 15. Fluff. Asks for a vote count. Post 16. Fluff. Asks what WIFOM is. Post 17. The only real opinion-giving post I've seen from AoD in the whole game so far. He makes his vote for KevinH using the setup as a reason - I dislike this, for reasons already given. Post 18. Accuses CV of bandwagoning, and asks for a vote count. Not much to see here either. I've reached the end of Page 10. I'm finding AoD's lack of real contribution really quite scummy. I don't like his reasonings for voting KevinH, and the rest of his posts are very weak in the amount of force given in the opinions, with a lot of fluff posts. He's had a vote on Falzis for 8 pages without giving any reasonings for it, and without contributing or changing his vote to people who made the scummy posts he mentioned. If you ask me, so far in this read, AoD looks very much like tentative scum.

The two votes I labelled as slightly off in my quick re-read of votes are Angel of Doom and Carl Vincent. Of the two, AoD seems more scummy to me since the reasoning that was used relies on setup-guessing rather than scum-guessing. I am still willing to let CV off the hook for now, but I do hope that his posting picks up and sheds some light on all this. There's still time to change. I'm working tomorrow, but I hope to get in a full read of AoD before deadline and decide if it really is the way to go. Vote: Angel of Doom

Bloody hell, only a week left? I figure a good start would be going through everyone's reasonings (or lack thereof) for voting KevinH. People who don't give solid reasonings for their vote are likely to be just jumping on the bandwagon and therefore scummy. AoD uses a kind of setup-esque reasoning for his vote, saying that not lynching him would hurt us more than lynching him as a possible PR would - his second scenario, however, is very outlandish. it relies on a Weak Doc (Uncommon in games, I find), and the doc protecting KevinH, and the scum killing someone else. The chances of this are pretty low. This is really the textbook definition of a bandwagon vote. This is where we enter the murky area, once again, of the Newbie Card and how much it can be used. Whilst he may have been busy, I see no reasonings given here, and no real opinions towards whether or not KevinH looks scummy. Carl Vincent - I understand that during D1 you admitted the bandwagoning. Which is fair. When you placed the vote, did you have a read on KevinH? Did you think he was scummy / pro-town / neither? Says KevinH looks pro-town, then goes ahead with the vote anyway. I can't give Theo flak for this - since I claimed a gut town on KevinH the post prior to this one (Which I gradually began to ditch as KevinH continued to be absurdly scummy and evasive). At the time, some of believed we were one day 'til lynch, so this is OK in my books. This was in response to KevinH saying he was just "trying to get along". I can understand this vote. It does at least have a reason. Fair enough. Nothin' to see here. This is in response to Martino claiming EM's strategy was anti-town, so he switches to voting for KevinH. Whilst I'm not against switching strategies, this was the first vote on KevinH - without a reasoning given. I don't think it can be seen at all as an attempt to start a wagon. Do I think it's scummy?... No, not particularly. On a side note, ... "Intuition" defence of KevinH could very well be distancing himself from a lynch that he knew would turn up town. So what do I think? Stay tuned to find out.
