The problem with someone jailing Imran to prove him innocent is that it will reveal the jailer as well to prove him innocent, and they can't be any more credible. In the case that Imran isn't scum, the real scum could just target him or not deliver the kill and then everyone thinks the power roles are scum, and we lose them in the lynch and the next night kill and we're back to not knowing anything, but we've lost 2 power roles.

Interesting, another option that is the jailer hit the target of the nightkill, that would also protect them. The problem with roleclaiming this early is that there are still 3 scum out there, and so knowing the identity of one of them and then roleclaiming leaves the other two to deliver the hit and take out the power roles so it's just a matter of the town deducing who the remaining scum are before too many people get night killed. In my opinion the jailkeeper, assuming there is a jailkeeper, shouldn't roleclaim yet since that will just make you the next target. There is also the possibility that Imran is a scum, this to me is plausible since they decided all the power roles, it would be easy to claim that you're the vigilante if you made sure there wasn't one to get on the town's good side, and no one can disprove you. Also if the jailkeeper were to put you in jail or a tracker to track you for the next night, another scum could just deliver the hit and we'd all trust you. Granted it is the second day and there is no real point to this since no one was lynched yesterday and Imran only got up to 2 votes. In my opinion we should save further roleclaims for a day or so and see what people turn up.

I haven't been posting much because Weds was my dad's birthday, Friday was my 21st birthday, and today is my mom's birthday, so slightly preoccupied. I also don't have much to say, we had one death in the night, meaning not much for identifying power roles. It doesn't mean one way or another if we have a vig since he only gets 2 kills. The scum also killed one of the more inactive players so as to give very little to read off of. Vote: Euclid I want to know why you are voting DarkIce again today even though you are big into not just lynching inactives

I never played Morrowind, but I had a lot of hours in Oblivion, but there was a specific quest that I did at least 4 times and it never went off normally. The quest was one of the initiation to the Mage's Guild. You have to go around to all the different cities and do a quest to get a recommendation. In the city of Anvil, the quest was to help stop a bandit waylaying traveling merchants. In the quest you pose as a merchant and go to an inn and then walk down the road until you get attacked by the bandit. This is the part that always got messed up. The first time I tried the quest, an Oblivion gate opened nearby, so I was never attacked by the bandit because they had been killed by the Daedra. The second time I tried the quest a random guard came along and killed the bandit for me. The third time, a person from a completely different different quest I had completed earlier came back and attacked me right at the moment when I was doing this quest.

TOTALLY AGREE! I have really tried to play RPG in pc, but i find RPG games in console better, SKYRIM for example: TV Screen than pc screen is bigger Playing with a control than a mouse+keybored is better Gameplay is faster and more agile I don't understand, I mean to get a good gaming PC costs a lot, but through platforms like Steam, you have controller enabled games, so I haven't bought an Xbox game in the last 6 months, but I've played all the February releases with a controller on my computer TV's can be hooked up to your computer so any size difference is a moot point, my second monitor is a 22" TV with an HDMI cord

I am an xbox fan, but they are really shooting themselves in the foot. The console I'm excited for is the Steam Box.

Yes, obvious actions by the RB would've made it easier to identify. For townies to trust someone it's important that there's a visible sign, especially if there have been counter claims and people die without being revealed. Good game though everyone, glad I could contribute even though I was late to the party

Well it would've ended either way. If you are the SK we win, if CS or myself are the SK, the game is over. If Nerau is the SK, CS and I have an easy choice and the game is over

can't they have multiple of the same roles though? In that case they might have more innocent childs and less night abilities

So the deadline is in 9 days. We need 3 votes to lynch. I think everyone has laid out their strategy and thoughts except Nerau. There hasn't been any posts of substance in 4 days. Basically the decision lies with Nerau. CS and I have voted for Imran on the claim that CS roleblocked Nerau last night and so he will again block Nerau this night if Imran turns out not to be the SK and then lynch him on the morrow. The logical choices for lynching in the scenario that we believe CS's roleclaim are either me or Imran, because it maximizes the number of people we can test as SK out of the 4 remaining. So Nerau, I'm asking you to either make a case for why I should be lynched, join me and CS in voting for Imran, or join Imran in voting for CS and make a case for him. I don't really understand why you are still waiting for other people's input. There are 4 people and 3 of them have made cases and given opinions, you have to make an opinion and vote for someone or else this game will just stagnate because you are the only one holding out on sharing your opinion, which at this point in the game only serves to hurt the town. 4 players, 2 scenarios, 2 VT, RB, and the SK, or 3 VT and the SK. You said you are leaning towards Imran, give us some reasons why or give reasons for voting for me.
