just letting you guys know that i'm not inactive. i just find this conversation so utterly unhelpful i'm not going to participate in it.

actually, jailing imran would have some advantages only if scum didn't know what power roles we have. if we have a jailer and he jails Imran, if the scum don't night kill it makes him look suspicious. the 3 scum know exactly what power roles we have though while we don't. also, i'm not sure how the blocking mechanics works. is there a specific scum that has to submit the NK or do they choose who does the kill during the night? cause if the first options is the right one, the jailer could just stop all the scum kills. anyway, i don't think Imran is lying but that's just cause he doesn't have a lot to gain from roleclaiming. of course, i'm not ruling out the possibility that he is scum and he is betting on that to stay alive, but i feel like the chances of that happening are quite low.

i find it doubtful that nr1 is a possibility so i think i'll wait and see if someone indeed roleclaims jailkeeper. if nobody claims that though imran, i'm afraid there are high chances that your goose might be cooked. but i have to say, if he roleclaims, wouldn't that leave us with the important power roles out in the open? also, you forgot one other option (assuming you are the vig that is): both you and the scum targeted the same person.

d3 no scum lynched: lynch today -> 4townies vs 3 scum which means we either lynch scum or we lose. if we don't lynch today -> 5townies vs 3 scum which again means we either lynch scum or we lose. the major difference? less vote patterns, 1 day lost which means that instead of having 3 chances to lynch people we only get 2, power roles also have to rely more on luck since they also can benefit from the voting patterns in their choices. and if we have power roles with limits on how many times they can actually do power role things, well, that's bad mojo.

that's just it silly, we won't last longer except if a roleplayer does a block or if the townies don't lynch another time. the number of days to play will still be 3 if we don't lynch any scum, 4 if we lynch 1 scum and 5 if we lynch 2.

i don't know about that. the only time i was scum i kind'a disliked that nobody voted or that nobody talked for that matter. i felt the game was not fun but i also felt like it meant i could win easier. i mean less votes means less reasons for discussion. and less discussion means that scum don't have to do anything to hide. and in a setup where the cop has one chance to get 1 scum, 1 vig has 2 chances and the rest of the roles and the innocent child can't really do much, i'd say it's better to start early.

the master gaming race is already on the pc. i really don't know of any games that have spawned such a interest in games as blizz games. let's face it, e-sport are mainly for pc users. it's cute that xbox and ps users think they are the best gamers... but when they can gather up the crowd that you can see at a SC final, we'll talk. as for controlers, is it me or it's awkward playing a fps game on anything else than a kb+mouse?

i'd hate lynching someone who's inactive. in my opinion inactives are usually simple townies who wanted a power role but are disappointed and don't feel useful enough.

i really have no idea what you want me to day CoD. i don't take voting as a joke so for me to vote for someone implies that i have at least some kind of plan to follow through. now though, i can't say anyone stood out and also i'd hate to be lynched again cause of my vote.

i tend to agree with the power roles you laid out. the tracker and jailkeeper are the best things we've got going for cops since most of the town power roles will not be using their abilities each night.

well then, why are we even having this day? let's just draw straws if we're townies before the day begins and one of us can get to skip this game. then the power roles can choose who to scan completely at random cause without voting they can't even make educated choices and let's see how it turns out. then again euclid, you seem to like numbers. can you find the proportion of games won when voting on the first day and compare it to the proportion of games won when not voting on the 1st day? then again, why bother... i still don't plan to put all my hopes in someone who might not exist or who might get nicked before having the chance to reveal anything.

having extra days is pointless without information. in some cases it's actually detrimental. for example, if during the last day there are 4 people alive and one of them is scum, chances to lynch the scum are lower than if there were 3 scum. anyway, we don't know what power roles we have. we probably have a innocent childe but the rest of the roles are up to grab. which reminds me, if there is a vig in there, he may want to do a nk tonight just to let us know some extra info. (don't pick me though, i already died early during the last few games i was a townie ) then again, he only has 2 shots so he might want to stay hidden for now.

i may be off the radar on monday and probably on tuesday. just letting you guys know ahead of time. also, not much happened until now so maybe i don't even have to announce this.
